The temperature averages in the 70s year-round. January through March are the cooler months, with typical daytime temps in the low 70s and 80s, while July thru Sept tends to be hot and humid, with daytime average highs in the 90s.

Located directly east of the tip of the Baja Peninsula, 17 gorgeous miles of beach make Mazatlan a winner among sun destinations. Known as the Pearl of the Pacific because of its beautiful beaches and abundant marine life, Mazatlan has become an important site for international fishing tournaments. In the Golden Zone, a stroll along the famous Malecón is great for shopping and dining. Mazatlan offers two marinas and fantastic golf courses with beautiful ocean views. Stroll through Old Mazatlan, the historic center lined with 19th century architecture. With its markets, churches, cafes, and plazas, life in the traditional neighborhoods carries on as it did before tourists arrived.
