Heart loving staff with full dedication.

Fantastic and why, let me explain. No this is not a 5* hotel and yes it may be that the building isn't the newest in Honolulu but all of that is not important if you have been here and felt the absolute dedication and heartloving spirit of the staff. They were genuinely happy and nice to be there, which is not a common thing for Honolulu. From lobby to cleaning staff. Such a refreshing experience! Oh and the room, it's clean, it's nice and has a lovely bed. We had the premium ocean view which was fantastic. Room 1604. Also very practical was the laundry station in floor 8. 2$for wasching and 2$for drying (coin exchange machine is there for 1$bills). Small tipp: don't stay on floor 8, pool, laundry and fitness are on these floors and therefore lots of people who roam the hallways. All in all, i would stay here again without a doubt. Other hotel in honolulu we have stayed in "the modern" - not as good as The Parc , not as friendly. I choose the Parc in a second.

Noisey

Went off the reviews booking this hotel. The noise was a big problem and this was not due to bars and restaurants but from the bus depot below as it is a very busy culdesac and is used by a lot of buses and tour companies. We were booked in a mountain view side which is the worst side in regards to noise. We were moved to a side room on the 15th floor and unfortunately was no different. We were told they are having renovations in the next year... Hope that means double glazed windows are going in. Staff are great but unfortunately we value our sleep far to much and therefore wouldn't recommend.

Excellent Choice

With a perfect location to restaurants and shopping, this boutique-style hotel is excellent especially if you choose its Parc Sunrise Bonus Car Package, which includes parking and in/out privileges. We used the car during the day to visit sights and walked to dinner every night. Our prime ocean view room was nicely refurbished, comfortable and clean albeit the bathroom maybe small by some modern standards. The buffet breakfast, in the former Nobu space, was always fresh and well-stocked with fresh local fruit plus omelettes, eggs and pancakes made to order and Asian options. Hotel and restaurant staff were excellent! Yes there is street noise; it can't be avoided anywhere along the beach. On the flip side we could hear Hawaiian music drifting up to our 16th floor balcony from the Halekulani and the Outrigger Reef. Over 30 years we've stayed in hotels and condos from one end of Waikiki to the other; however, we had our most relaxing experience here. There are plans to renovate the hotel so come and experience the Parc before the cost increases.

Be prepared by interrupted sleep most nights!

Arriving in on an early morning international flight, we were very happy and so grateful when Ryan at Reception was able to check us straight into our room. Our Ocean View room was nicely appointed with comfortable beds, good air conditioning and a tiny balcony but the bathroom was very small and two people could not use it at the same time. There are 3 very efficient lifts to all floors so you don't have to wait very long to get up and down. There is a very clean laundry for guests to use on the 8th floor with 3 washing machines and 4 dryers and washing powder is supplied! There is also a vending machine to change $1 notes into quarters - $2 for each load which is cheap!! We picked up a hire car and used the valet parking service for a couple of nights but at $35 per night it was a bit too expensive. The guys on the bell desk were so friendly and helpful but we ended up self-parking (for $20 per night ) which was no great inconvenience as the garage is right next door and accessed by a lift to the right of the back access door. The only problem with the Waikiki Parc is the noise factor at night and it is not from general traffic or party bars! Because the Parc has a tight cul de sac in front and behind as well, every delivery truck tends to reverse back out and for some reason there seem to be trucks coming and going at all hours of the night. There is also a bus depot across from the front of the hotel which contributes to the noise factor. Constantly being woken up by noisy vehicles night after night is not what you want when on a vacation! We were on the 11th floor but it wasn't high enough to escape the road noise. For this reason, I won't be choosing to stay at the Parc again even though it has a great location and the male staff were friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location, very friendly and helpful staff

We loved our stay at the Waikiki Parc - the location was perfect with lots of eateries within walking distance, very near to several stops on the Waikiki Trolley, and within walking distance of the beach and other attractions. The only complaint we have is our room location - we had hardly any view of the ocean or mountains but instead had a view of the back of the Sheraton and the noise from trucks/buses reversing seemingly all night caused a lack of sleep for the first 2 nights but after that, we were fine. Definitely recommend paying the extra for the ocean/mountain view rooms. The pool was nice, breakfast staff very accommodating of my request for gluten-free toast (which they toasted in a separate toaster to prevent cross-contamination).
