Beautiful look, but everything else was cheap/low quality

Time share push was too much. Time they tell you is a lie. 90 min is 3.5hrs. Food was marginal. No place close, need a cab to go anywhere. Broken blow dryer in room. Overall quality poor. All inclusive is a bad deal.

We arrived and our bellboy took our bags they were outside 30 min and we had to go pick them up ourselves. We checked in and when we went to our room we discovered that we did not get what we paid for. We paid extra for ocean view and had garden view instead we went and talked to them about it and they said it was the agencys fault (apple vacation). We also had joint rooms and did not get that either we spent the first 2 days trying to get what we paid for. Dulce the receptionist gave us attitude and rolled her eyes, when we would approach the desk she would say you again and roll her eyes. We spoke to an apple representative and he did not want to help us because he was "scared" he was going to get kicked out of the hotel. The service was horrible and we ended up getting whatever they wanted to give us. We had gotten this vacation for our anniversary and also to see a relative we hadnt seen in two years and it ruined our whole stay. Nonody tried to help us, they would just say its apple vacations fault and apple vacation did not help us out either . This is our second trip with this agency and we have one more in november we arent even looking forward to due to the bad serviced the hotel and the agency gave us

The hotel was gorgeous! The staff was eager to please, courteous, and efficient, with the exception of perhaps the front desk staff who were very slow and not quite as friendly. The food was mediocre. My one complaint: we did not know that this was a vacation ownership/timeshare facility. We experienced very high pressure to purchase a timeshare, attend a presentation that was supposed to be 90 minutes, but turned into almost four hours (lost vacation time). They were high pressure about this and we were pounced upon at the airport to schedule this presentation. I would consider this purchase, but was unaware that this was predominantly this type of resort and did not like the 'unrelenting pressure'. I would definitely return to this hotel/resort but think others should know what they are facing when they arrive as far as a strong sales push. The spa was beautiful. If one is looking for 'night life', this is not the place to go unless you go off of the property to nearby towns. Pretty much quiet and deserted by 9:00 p.m. and their lounge was in the lobby with seating for six people. Otherwise, a beautiful place with amazing pools.

Time share people galore...they are ruthless!

We were there for my daughters wedding with 45 guests from all over the US. The hotel itself was beautiful and clean. The staff was wonderful and very attentative to our every need, especially Conrad. The food was just ok, with very little variety, especially the breakfast it was the same thing every morning, never changed. After we checked in, we were directed to another desk. They gave us a map and some information about taxis and shopping, then it was time for the time share speech. It was really a time share sales person, not hotel staff. When we told them we were not interested, they became very rude and the pressure to go on a tour was strong. My son arrived the next day, I went to greet them. They asked me where they should go and I pointed to the front desk. And then pointed to the other desk and told them that is where they needed to go to get their vouchers for the towels. I told them that they would get a pitch to go on a time share tour and if he didn't want to go they didn't have to. I guess they overheard me, I was then approached from one of the sales people from the time share and was given a really hard time for telling my son he didn't have to go. After all we were there for a vacation and vacations are never long enough. The time share people were all over the airport as well. After we got our bags, there was a long corridor that you need to go through before you get outside. There are people on both sides, telling you that they are your ride to your resort. When in fact they are time share people and are ruthless. Just some advise just tell them no and keep walking or don't even make eye contact and keep walking to the double doors. That is really where the ground transportation people are. It would have been helpful if we were told to look for the apple vacations people in the flowered shirts. Once we got to them it was smooth sailing. When we went shopping at the Mega Mart, we were greeted by a man asking us if we needed a cart and if he could help us find something. Again, time share person...they are all over. All in all it was a wonderful trip with many family and friends. I would definetly go back, but to a different resort. Just because of the variety of food.

I was very unhappy with the men who met me at the airport, pretending to be from the hotel, telling me I was getting a free breakfast, etc. and discounts on trips, when they were setting me up for a "timeshare" experience. They took money and I had trouble getting it back.

My wife and I traveled with two other couples to stay at Flamingos this past week and it was amazing! We stayed in a two bedroom ocean front plus a studio. We were all celebrating turning 50 within months of each other and this was our celebration. We emailed the front desk manager Yuliana of our plans and we had a fantastic room waiting. Thanks!! The front desk staff of Fabian, Ricardo and Lennon were awesome to work with all week long. Every interaction or request was met with a smile. Of course there was the occasional cranky person at the desk and they always handled tough situations with a smile. Our friends Regee, Alex and Oscar made sure every day at the pool was amazing. Service was impeccable and quick and since we have been to Flamingos many times we felt more like a family reunion with the three of them. In fact, we tend to find where Alex and Oscar are working and sit in that area each day. Bottom line...great trip at a great resort. Every time we climb out of a cab or shuttle there, the bell staff says "Welcome Home". It truly feels that way!

This was our first time to Nuevo Vallarta, and to Villa Del Palmar Flamingos, and it was everything we had hoped for and more! The property was gorgeous, well-maintained, a smaller resort-feel, excellent food and drinks, gorgeous rooms and restaurants. The evening activities were perfect for our family, as well. Every ONE of the staff there was exceptional but a very special shout out to Maria in the Kids Club for entertaining our Francesca ALL week! Maria was so positive and friendly with all of the kids - she's a real asset to the Resort! Another shout out to the exceptional Christobal, our poolside waiter, who never kept us waiting (and we were hungry/thursty all day)! He worked his tail off running all over, and always with a smile on his face! Maria and Christobal made us feel like family while we were there!

The staff at this resort is excellent. We were greeted warmly upon arrival by David, and Antonio. Throughout our stay they made themselves available happily for our every need. They were warrm friendly and capable at all times. Julia oversees a competent staff from Israel at the front desk to Reggie who made the pool an excellent experience daily. Julia is great at taking care of any issues that came up and to our full satisfaction. Bucerias was a brusque walk providing culinary diversity. Overall its a great resort and area.

We just returned home from a 5 night trip to this resort. We had a fantastic trip!!! We are a family of three with a teenager. The resort is beautiful! The grounds are very well kept. The room we had was in great condition. We had a junior suite, which had 2 queens beds, private bath, and a mini kitchen. The kitchen had a sink, stove top, microwave and mini fridge, plus all the necessary pots, pans, dishes, cups. We didn’t use any of it, but they have it all in guess any guests do. The beds were very comfortable. The pillows were so-so. The pool was great. We went between the pool and the beach and then back to the pool, then back to the beach. The pool has some very shallow ends perfect for little kids, but our teenager still had a lot of fun. The ocean waves were gentle and good for boogie boarding. There are some vendors along the beach, but they were never pushy, just polite and nice. We did the all-inclusive plan. The main restaurant is El Patron, and they do a breakfast buffet every morning. Lots of options. For lunch there is El Patron, the Taco Bar,or the Pizza Bar/snack shack. The snack shack will bring food out to eat along the pool. Lots of options as well. the tacos were super good!!!! Dinner options are El Patron, Yashinoki Japanese or La Trattloria. La Tratoria is the pizza bar during the day,and the Japanese place is the taco bar during the day. We ate at all the places, and each one is really really good! Best were the fresh chips and guacamole by the pool. We did not rent a car, but used a taxi to go down to Puerto Vallarta and also Bucerias. Taxi’s were easy to find. It was about 30 minutes to Puerto Vallarta and about 10 minutes to Bucerias. We will definitely come back. Everyone was super friendly and made our trip special.
