I have chosen the hotel based in reviews here, which built up my expectation to something spectacular for a small boutique hotel that is priced over first week of new year at c. USD1000 per night! Well first let me start with a good and great things. Stuff is absolutely amazing Akisha and the most welcoming Maitre D whose name escapes me. Location is perfect. I decided to travel around island as it was my first ever time in Caribbean. I know that island is not huge, yet location is perfect literally takes you 15-20 minutes wherever you want to go. Most important for me was an opportunity for Long Beach walks, this is possible! I would definitely recommend going to Holetown, first it is a nice walk, second you would pass by few restaurants and cafes and may enjoy. Be aware of high tide thought! It made one of my walks very adventurous. Beach front and easy access to bluest waters ever was something extraordinary. Further the property is mid-sized, cosy and secluded, something I also wanted and I found. Now what has not gone well: I have not been greeted after I parked from airport and no one offered me to carry my bag until we actually reached the steps towards room. The room is definitely spacious and has a very nice balcony yet I booked my self the most expensive room but one and the room was call “ocean view”. Well I admit I can see the blue waves in distance yet in no way I would have called it ocean view... when the best observed item is swimming pool. Stuff offered to move me to another room on the ground floor closest to ocean, yet how I was supposed to see the ocean behind the defensive bushes which served a natural wall I’m not sure. So room clues are very misleading here. A proper clue would be: ask for the 3rd floor room and if you don’t want sun to burn you out on a balcony ask the view towards Holetown. Selection of food at continental breakfast buffet: more than mediocre for the price per night... apples for breakfast? Bananas got there only today, when I was leaving. There was smoked salmon, two choices of cold meats, 4 choices of cheese. Water melon, melon and kiwi. Three cereals, porridge, yogurt. The mere fact I can list all of this without even thinking about tells me this is not 5* hotel selection or variety! I admit one could order any sort of delicious omelette or fried eggs those were perfection. Dinners were extraordinary and delicious - kudos to head chef! Cleanness of my room - there were and still are hairs (not mine) at the wall of shower. I haven’t felt bathroom was properly sanitized. I’m very frequent traveler and staying in 5* mostly: why on earth the sheets were never changed? Not that I wanted to change them, yet typically you have a choice. Fitness center is non-existent. Yet one can go to Tamarind and enjoy there plus water sports are super cool. No way on earth this is Four Seasons while it is priced like one. I would definitely recommend to anyone to go for dinner in the hotel restaurant. You would enjoy and be delighted! I had great time yet I don’t feel this is priced appropriately.

This is our first time visiting Barbados and was recommended to stay at Treasure Beach by a family member. From arrival we were treated incredibly well, I felt like royalty! Greeted with a cocktail, baggage carried up to our room, complimentary meal... All the staff here are faultless, warm welcome and continuous chatty upbeat vibe. We enjoyed 'Sundown Hour' every evening which allowed us to meet the other guests and enjoy the sunset with a tasty beverage or two! Breakfast here is once again, amazing. Cooked to the finest standard and in a lovely relaxing manor. The ate in the hotel a couple of nights and really enjoyed the food and live music. We also really enjoyed adventuring up Paynes Bay to the Roti Den and a local Pizza Bar. Well worth a try and great value for money! We also enjoyed the local yellow bus's. They are frequent and only cost $2 each. They are safe and friendly, and would recommend them. We can't wait to return to Treasure Beach - great hotel, great location and truely brilliant staff!

A further return visit

We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions prior to its recent take over by Elegant Hotels. It remains a small select child free hotel that has had a bit of a makeover since our last visit. Only a few of the original staff remain. Our room was very good with housekeeping doing an excellent job.The breakfasts and bar snacks remain very good with a greater choice. The service was however spasmodic. The friendliness and general demeanour of the staff was questionable at times with almost a reluctance to deal with problems in an efficient and courteous manner. Baxter, Rasheed and Trivone however provided an excellent service throughout our stay. This hotel is expensive in a lovely beach front location close to fantastic restaurants but our customer experience did not match previous stays. Elegant Hotels need to up their game at Treasure Beach otherwise regular customers will drift away.

We stayed at the hotel for a week for a much needed rest . The room was lovely with a separate lounge with lovely views over the pool and sea, very clean and well appointed. The beach is beautiful and great for walking, and the hotel is well positioned between Holetown and Bridgetown for shopping. But the best thing about the hotel is the food and staff. The staff were so attentive and when things were busy the manager and general manager helped to make sure all things went smoothly in the restaurant. There are too many good staff to name them all but Ian and Jabarry are two of many that made trip memorable
