They are t even worth a review

The staff here seem to. It care to accommodate anyone in anyway. My American Express corrections my HHilton honors Amex is not accepted on the hotel for any purchase is suspect! Which I found out that it is not true every location on the hotel lied to me saying don't accept Amex at all and the. Cafe caribe upstairs was perfectly fine taking my card. No one was able to answer why card couldn't be accepted my guess is that it cost too much for the hotel to swipe American Express on their terminals if that is the case have the Hilton call me I can set them off with a new merchant processing system with Elavon a merchant processing system owned through us bank I would be happy to set them up with rates and marketing material. The hotel and the airline were horrible and not helpful at all stating that it's not their fault for delays or upgrades so I'm like okay and the apple vacation couldn't help me at all when I've been booking with them for years!? In the last 5yrs alone my group has spent $60,000 but apparently My business isn't important which is fine I have a full bbbook of business with other travel agents and travel companies that would be happy to have my business. Apple Vations American Airlines the Hilton and the dragon fly transportation have lost all cuter business from me and my travel group.

I chose this hotel because of the good ratings it had on Apple vacations. Was a bit leary after I checked on T.A. And it was not pretty. The check in time was 3. We arrived a little after 2. The desk staff were friendly, check in, no prob. Got to the room, it was not cleaned! Look like the person had just left. Bed was made neatly by the previous guest but there was sopping wet washcloth in the bathroom. The bellman noticed it too. "I'll get them to clean it right away!" Housekeeping was in the area, but didn't come right away. I went down to the desk to ask for another room but i couldn't get out the friggin room. The deadbolt was stuck! After struggling with the door a few minutes, I got to the desk, told my complaints, got another room. We moved our luggage (I wasn't tipping nobody after that). The 2nd room looked ok, until my sis spotted the dead roach on the floor! I could smell a chemically odor as if the AC was dying. The fan was very loud too. Ok, call to the desk, room number 3! The Manager gave us an ocean view room at no extra charge and his apologies. It was better. We had to call for linen. Only 2 towels (no wash or hand towels) and the the furniture had a layer of dust on it, but since it was prepaid, we stayed. The rest of the stay was uneventful and it didn't ruin the trip, just that day. I should have know it was going to be some issues when the young lady at the desk said, "If there's a problem, give us the opportunity to fix it." Beware of this hotel!!

Overall the stay was Very Good. The 1st room they gave us ( with the City view ) was VERY SHITTY. Talking about a Birds Eye View.Bird Shit all over the place. But they move us to a Very Nice Room with the Ocean View at no extra charge. Checking In / Checking Out ( VERY SLOW ). After GOOD TIME. The Staff was Very Helpful in letting you know about Places to visit off site.

Disappointment with Hilton Property

It seems that much of hotel was in disrepair. Perhaps since it is hurricane season there is not much desire to paint or deal with salt water damage around hotel. No one seemed to think it important that the swim up pool had a caution sign around several seats and exposed wood along sides. At check in there was a terribly long wait. There was no welcome to let us know the hotel amenities and where to even find the pool, the resteraunts or even where the concierge was located. Much was found on our own. There was a terribly long wait at the Caribe resteraunt only to be bought dried up/burnt chicken that should not have been presented to anyone. There was hardly no one in the resteraunt so the long wait was unacceptable. The waiter even said he would not have eaten it but with the wait I did not even reorder. Having a child-the 30 mins. for first order and her burnt pizza was not appealing to look at or eat either. When at the swim up bar the bartender failed to take my order after sitting there for almost 15 mins. He did not even acknowledge I was there. Truely disappointing. The staff did not behave as to make tourist feel welcome or invited only in the way. I would not recommend hotel. Also make sure no Vista view-of city but an ocean view. They tried to slide this in on check in-we had come to far to look at the city. Upgrade was resonably priced.

This is our favorite hotel in Puerto Rico, boy did they get hit hard from Erma I was just in port on a cruise ship & I took a taxi to the hotel, so sad, there was so much devastation from the hurricane. They said they don’t anticipate being open before 4/1/18. Possibly a new name too, but it was unclear if they’re still goin to be part of the Hilton family. I sure like this hotel.

Staying with the Hilton family after a Category 5 Hurricane.

Even after the hurricane, the staff, the rooms, everything was great. The staff went out of their way to help when they could. Thank you for taking such good care of my team, we loved being there. I cannot wait to return to PR and the Condato.

The hotel is fine, but certainly not worth the price they are charging. I understand the hotel took on damage from the hurricane. I wouldn't mark it down for that. The bathroom though, was not affected by the hurricane. The soap dishes in the shower were falling off of the wall. The cracks in the paint in the bathroom told me that the hotel hadn't been updated in a very long time. I expect that from Hilton's perspective, the hurricane is the best thing that could have happened to them in this situation. They'll submit claims to insurance and update the hotel from the insurance money. In the meantime, they'll continue to charge aid workers $200 per night to stay there. Sad.

What a great staff. The General Manager is awesome! Weathering the storm, literally, from dealing with two hurricanes, they were able to make me feel like I was at home. I will come back again. Thank you so much!

Birthday Getaway

Two of my friends were celebrating their birthday 🎂 That weekend and wanted to go away. After researching hotels I came across this location. Some reviews were very positive and others were not so. But the location for me was important and it was right were we need to be. We were last then 15 minutes from old San Juan and that was a plus because for me it just meant we can go there at any time. They didn’t have in room service which made my significant other not too happy but he was happy that there was a Dennys that serve alcohol which is luxury we don’t have in Miami not even on the Beach. 🏖 we also upgraded from a city view room to an ocean view and that was the best choice. We also walked in to a beautiful surprise in the room there was an amenity with a special note which was very nice of them. We were also able to have an early check in which made me happy. This hotel center it’s self around their restaurant and bars, my favorite bar was the one in the middle of the pool. So it was my go to location. When 🇵🇷 Puerto Rico gets back to where it use to be I will be back again.
