The was one of the worst accommodations I have ever seen, especially for an all inclusive resort. The amenities were deplorable and outdated. I am truly shocked that this resort has the rating outlined and is one your Agency recommends to those traveling abroad. I was truly disappointed.

First, let me say that my husband & I had a wonderful time in Barbados. The hotel staff was excellent from the front desk to the water sports staff. The all-inclusive meals were fabulous. We had the pleasure of dining at both our resort and the sister hotel and we were never disappointed. We were surprised to be one of a few Americans at our resort but had so much fun hanging out with the British tourist and the Bajan people. Now the only minor downfall is that the hotel rooms need some updating and the internet connections barely existed. Because we know the resort is going through a transition and the fact that our room had a spectacular view with a great bed and decent furniture we would still recommend this resort. Some of the things needing updating are the refrigerator, tv, bathrooms and the gym equipment. The location of the gym in the spa area was perfect but besides the cardio equipment the weights system were completely outdated and a stepping machine didn't work at all. But the sauna and the entire spa layout was first class as well as the ladies who did the work. Overall, I would definitely consider returning once upgrades were done.

I hate all inclusive. That being said what a great resort. I was totally surprised how well my wife and I were treated. The room was beautiful and updated and returned to it’s original condition every day by a great housekeeping staff. The staff was great you could feel the positive atmosphere around them. They were prepared to handle anything including the loss of electricity for about four hours that included dinner time. Dinner went off without a hitch and when we return to our rooms we had an LED lantern that lit up the whole room. There was nobody giving directions every one of the staff members knew what to do even those hooking up the generator for the dining area. It was a very lazy vacation for us there were activities available to do but we stayed around the resort every day. Nice beaches within walking distance. Being that I am a vegetarian there was a great diversity in the meals available to me. The resort is with in walking distance of Holetown. Where there are stores if you want to do some shopping. We mainly walked up and down the beach. OK I confess I had a great time. So we had a great room, great food, great service, great sunsets, and very worth the money we paid. Remember we all have different tastes, and I do vacation a lot.

Very disappointing

Ocean front rooms are feet from the sea and have great views. We had room 315, a suite, and the view was spectacular. However, this is about the only positive thing I can say. The hotel is really a 2 star facility at 5 star prices. The facility is old and needs renovations, something you notice as soon as you arrive. Peeling and scuffed paint can be found throughout the hotel. It’s not the cleanest place. We had mound around our bathtub. Food was extremely mediocre. The staff generally are not particularly friendly and their attitude to customer service leaves a lot to be desired. There is virtually no WiFi at this facility. They want to charge you extra for the premium data package but that is joke as well and not available in all rooms. In this day and age and at the prices they charge to stay at this hotel, there is just so much that is not acceptable with this facility. I complained on a number of times and it made no difference. I was told they are aware of many of the issues I was highlighting. SO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. We paid a hefty price to stay in this hotel and were left totally underwhelmed and dissatisfied.

Good day your receptionist are very unmannerly they have no respect for guests and neither do they have any respect for you the owners. As employees you should be able to uplift the resort make you feel comfortable with where you decide you are going to spend your time in the country. And as people say the first impression matters the most. And your receptionist are terrible at doing this for you. Among all other staff everyone else is great. But your place needs some renovations. Thank you. Best regards.

We arrived in what could only be called a rain storm it was absolutely pouring. Indeed most of the holiday had times when it rained although it cleared up very quickly. Our accommodation was an Ocean view junior suite and I have to say it was excellent with a spacious lounge and a large balcony where you looked over the sea. The bedroom was very comfortable and I would certainly recommend this type of accommodation okay a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for. The resort itself was very clean and the Club was well laid out if I had an issue it was associated with the sun beds as some guests were up very early in the morning to book the prime spots by laying towels on beds. The hotel really needs to do something about this as it is selfish and annoying. In addition a lot of the sunbeds could do with having mattresses to enjoy the comfort of the beach area. The staff are exceptional and do all that is asked and more. Special mention to our room maid Kiera, in the restaurant two ladies who were super efficient and looked after my husband and I Patricia and Carmella, the waiter Cirt (guess his age) did not smile alot but boy was he good. Reception were excellent and as my mobility was not good one of the ladies got me something in Bridgetown as a present for my granddaughter. The bellboy Royston was so helpful. I am sure that is only a few names picked out as most of the staff were terrific. The restaurant food was very good and for me my favourite meal was breakfast. Did not eat lunch very often and dinner was quite varied with an additional menu of specials that was not expensive. It was a special birthday for my husband and we went out to the Tides restaurant and we did enjoy the night have to say the cost of the evening was pricey and do not think it was good value. A sour spot for the holiday was the return flight was delayed by 5 hours which resulted in missing my connecting flight to Edinburgh and that caused us to have a 7 hour wait in Gatwick airport. In summary a good holiday at a fine resort that we enjoyed

The worse resort ever.

Please do not fall for what you see on the website the pictures are very deceiving. We requested double beds, when we arrived we saw two twin beds that were an inch apart from one another. The bathroom was so tiny that I could barely close the door behind me. We went to another hotel the same night.
