Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Sheets were dingy gray - but clean. Staff was friendly - huge shout out to Mario, Fabio and Shauna! Master bath - counter sink was cracked. Kitchen well stocked. Grocery store was a convenient walk. Taxi drivers are plentiful and vying for your fare. Seaweed issue on beach -but faithfully a man runs a tractor every day with a sweep to clean it up for the patrons. I honestly don’t know how he doesn’t get discouraged! Restaurants on site are not worth the money. If you’re going to eat on the resort - go to the pizza shack - it is the most economical location and the pizza was acceptable. Swim up bar at main pool. The bar will bring you a cocktail out on the beach. Cabanas are a little gross - rusty....but block the sun. And there are loungers there for use. Beaches are public and you will be approached by a guy who wants to sell you his island music - and others that want to give you a massage. Most are respectful when you say “no”. Resort has daily activities - poolside bingo, minute to win it, cheese and wine reception, karaoke, etc. They work hard to make sure that you are taken care of. Overall - a wonderful experience.

Parts were great (the beach) but most parts were not so great!!

The staff at the hotel were all friendly. The breakfast buffet is great. Lunch and Dinner options not so great. We went to the Steakhouse Grille for dinner one night ordered the special (Ribs). There had so much sauce on them we had to scrape it off just to tastes the meat. We are talking about at least 1/2 - 1 cup of sauce sitting on our plates after scraping it off and then were charged 38.00 for a rack. Almost the same prices as the most expensive cut of steak in the restaurant. Also for the price of fine dinning we were seated in a place were tiles were falling off the wall. Not to mention there was black mold all over the ceiling in the breakfast buffet restaurant. The grill out by the pool served us burnt chicken tenders, so not only the chef new they were burnt and sent them out, but also the waitress served them with no problem. The greens on the golf course did not look very enticing so we did not play golf. Don't count on being able to get money from the ATM in the Casino. It evidently is broken and not working most of the time and there is not another place to get US currency that is close by. We spent several thousand dollars (over 4K) gambling and were lucky enough to get a whooping $120.00 comped on our room. We were there for one week and never saw a single pay out in the casino, so don't count on winning big. The casino has very limited hours for slots and even more limited for table games. Don't count on the casino staff having a friendly look on their faces when you walk in either. It almost seemed as if they were being forced to be dealers at the tables. I give this hotel a 3 star rating because the hotel staff and breakfast buffet were good. The rooms were nice. The very best part was the beach. It was clean and we had a great time playing in the waves. I probably will not go back because of the shape of the hotel (black mold), and the casino being pretty much a rip off.

Love this place!

Back from our 10th stay between the hotel and beach club, and can’t wait to return. From the moment we arrive and see Arbon’s big smile we know we are home. Marriott may consider them staff but they are good friends we come to visit 😊. The restaurants are always great, everyone at Blu thank you we love coming to see you! Breakfast buffet at Calypso is over the top! All the girls at Bohemia that we see daily, we have the best laughs with you. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us! Note to Jacques: Merci Beaucoup—for putting the awning back over the pool bar, it was missed. It makes such a difference blocking the sun, we watched them melt working without it. Two little suggestions we would like to make-we need the bigger TV back at the pool bar and Happy Hour-can it please be all drinks half priced because we are rum punched out 😉 If this can happen before next September we would be truly thankful! Thank you all for making it our second home!

Great property and the service was top notch!! The front office manager went above and beyond to make sure we were fine. Overall rooms could use some sprooseing up, but the ocean view from the room makes it seem irrelevant.

This was my first time to St Kitts, and having been to other Caribbean and West Indies islands this one ranks at the top. From the moment we want in the lobby the majority of people who worked there were attentive to our every need and request...there were a few bad apples, but they were very few. Michael K and Marcie at the front desk, from before we even arrived, wanted to make our experience there a memorable and special one. Marcie was emailing me information I had requested and also arranged to have a taxi waiting for me at the airport. Michael K checked us in, and from that point forward he was focused on our experience. We had a pool/beach side room on the fourth floor. Very spacious, comfortable, clean and accessorized. The view and the constant ocean breeze was fabulous. Sitting on the porch at night was a great escape. The restaurants on the property were fabulous. The only one we did not visit was the Italian. The chef or chefs they have really know how to prepare food well and present it. Fitzroy especially was friendly and helpful, cooking up a lobster for me that I caught scuba diving. But you are also a short walk from many local restaurants too. There is Rock Lobster, a sushi, a couple of Indian, a BBQ, and a few others. You are also an easy walk to The Strip where there is a good nightlife, and though they do not look like much, great restaurants. I recommend Cathy's and Shiggidty Shack...though the food is great, the service isn't always the best.
