Great hotel - beware of beach specifics

Beach is "not swimable" most of the time due to the natural rip currents, which we were not aware of at the time of booking

The Sheraton Hacienda was lovely!! I would go back in a minute! The only issue I noticed is the front desk staff rarely smiled nor was overly friendly. As they finally accommodated my Starwood status and credited $200 for Food and Beverage, they seemed to do it reluctantly. I don't think they have been trained on hospitality...I think this would make the Sheraton top notch. The bellman, and many of the wait staff were very friendly and hospitable. Arturo and Alejandro were exceptionally kind and upbeat!!

Fantastic resort, great service, no issues (just get past the time share sales pitch with a simple "no, not interested"). Great beachside resort, older crowd, no partying 20 year olds :)

Absolutely loved this place! It is so beautifully landscaped and very private. The staff is very attentive and willing to go the extra mile to help. We toured a few other resorts while were in Cabo but didn't find one we liked as well. I can't wait to go back.

This hotel is a very nicely hotel with over accommodating staff that will take care of your every need. Lots of great restaurant on property and the beach is beautiful. The rooms are older style rooms which are nice but could use a refresh.

This hotel was wonderful. My only gripe was check in. We requested two rooms in the same building- we called over and over to confirm. Once we checked in we were given two hotel rooms in two completely different buildings across the resort. It ended up working out, but the request went unheard. Overall, this hotel was amazing. We stayed for 7 nights. We were offered an All Inclusive package in which we took them up on their offer for 4 of the 7 days. This allowed us unlimited drinks and meals but most importantly we were able to eat all every single one of the restaurants on the resort, including the 5* restaurant. We ate there twice, and it was wonderful! Drinks poolside was a great idea, it was so relaxing. We got massages at their spa, and really took our time to unwind. Breakfast was a delight every morning, we requested the same lady every morning, as we loved her service. The resort was clean, fun and a wonderful place to stay!

We stayed at the Sheraton Hacienda for five days and it was an all around good time. The restaurant Girasoles is definitely worth trying for dinner, tasty food and a great view. Besides being a beautiful property one of the front desk agents Arnoldo V. especially made our trip special and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. The only warning I have is that before you say yes to any of the “special coupons” or free breakfast they offer you, you know that you will end up wasting 3 hours of your day having someone try to pressure you into a time share on the false pretense of free breakfast.

I have stayed at the Sheraton Hacienda a total of 4 times because it’s a great place whether you are a single person, couple or family. My first visit to Cabo was over 20 years ago and I stayed at the Rose Hotel closer to downtown Cabo..it was a package deal..enjoyed the food and hotel but not the constant attempt to sell me a timeshare. The next trip was at the Sheraton where I found a warm welcome, great location, and staff that were so friendly. In June, I used my Starwood points and had a fabulous room, weather was perfect, and the hospitality amazing. The food had improved 100%.. It’s my go to Hotel in Cabo..

The hotel is well maintained and just about everyone we interacted with was very nice and helpful. The entry drive and hotels grounds were impressive from the start. The Golf courses are magnificent and makes me wish I still played golf. when checking in I was not immediately recognized as a platinum member but was eventually given a platinum upgrade and the breakfast and drink comps. I mentioned that we were there to celebrate my girlfriends B-day, and they were nice enough to send a bottle of Champagne to the room. After we checked in, a person that appear to be the concierge came up to us, but they were really only interested in pitching Time Share, (Solaz) which is was not a big deal, we just said we were not interested. These people have a couple of desks across the check in desk. We got a room with ocean view right above one of the pools, and it was clean and comfortable. Everything in our room worked fine, AC, Hot water, WIFI etc. The pool staff was great and attentive even when it was busy. The main pool does get busy, but did not have too much trouble finding chairs. You will be issued special cards to get towels at pool side. We found the drinks and food to be good at the pool. Breakfast was very good, which included a large selection of food. Same for theme nights the food was good The only issue I had is with the amount of flies, there is something that can be done to limit the number of flies. There are happy hours throughout the day and are very good deals, but are very limited, there should be more time at the Sirenas bar then just one hour in the evening or lunch. The bartenders get so busy during the evening happy hour that it took about 15 minutes for one of them to take our order. The WIFI throughout the resort was very good from my experience. We ended up using it in our room and the pool areas. I also like the no cash policy. There is a store on the property, and we ended up buying items like wine and ice cream, Pepto-Bismol from the store on the time share side. I am glad this store was available on the property. If your on the opposite side of the property don't hesitate to call for a Golf cart, just don't forget to tip. We charged everything to our room and kept pictures of the bills, this was a good idea since there were a lot of charges on our final bill. There were 2 charges that were wrong, and the front desk could not provide copies of the receipts so they took them off. There was also a double charge for a breakfast, which they took off. My biggest complaint during our stay, was the noise from the weddings, 2 of the 5 days we were there. One on Saturday took place pool side and was fine until the people decided to stay up until 2 AM making noise. I had to call Security due to the amount of noise. The next night there was another wedding, and the after party at Pitayas restaurant was so loud you could hear the music across the resort. They shut this one at midnight, which was OK, but It would have been very annoying for any guests staying in one of the time share units very close to the Restaurant. We definitely enjoyed our stay here, the staff is the best, and we are considering returning.
