Beautiful resort
LEANNE H.

The resort is beautiful and the service was excellent. While the buffet was consistently only fair, the restaurant meals were excellent! Plan ahead and make reservations for the restaurants, it's worth it! We had a wonderful stay, but the last night was quite noisy- there appeared to be a lot of locals there and the partying went on all night. Other than that the resort was quiet and relaxing. It is about a 2 hour drive to the airport and any tours that you would want to do. It was worth it though to be on the beach!!!

I have traveled Around the world and this resort was one of the best! The staff was attentive and friendly.. The managers made sure everything was personal and perfect. The rooms and the food were excellent . Never had such attention to detail and personal detail. Highly recommend this resort.

Very nice resort. Depending upon traffic volume from airport it is a 2-3 hours commute to the resort. The buildings are very old, but the staff works very hard to keep everything shinning.

This is our fourth trip with Apple. There was no Apple representative on site at our hotel and information about optional tours, excursions, activities, etc. was limited. We did not have an introductory session upon arrival as we had on other Apple trips.

We were changed an additional fee to get a balcony room at check in. The pool bar had small children, driving, rude, unsupervised.

Very nice hotel, wonderful staff! The only comment is make sure you know your Spanish, it is very hard to find anyone that speaks english. I'm thankful that my husband speaks Spanish otherwise communications would have been very difficult.

We booked the hotel knowing little about it - the rooms were basic but nice. As with many Central American hotels everything is tiled - no carpet - so as expected you can hear the next room but thankfully the hotel wasn't very full when we were there. The staff was excellent and food was great. We were very happy overall with the hotel and the service. Best brush up on some Spanish as not all the staff could speak English - and ask questions about nightly entertainment as it was a mystery to us what they had in store for us each night we were there. If you are taking an excursion - be sure to see the old part of the city either coming from or on the way to the airport. It is going through a major transformation. Overall we would recommend this resort.

the hotel staff was very accommodating, We changed our reservation to only 8nts and transfered to the city of our last night stay. Hotel took care of the room transfer and apple Ground picked us up and took us to the hotel in the city and the next morning we had them back for our airport shuttle. Very please with everything.

Quiet but clean and beautiful resort

We stayed five nights at the Sheraton Bijao Beach Resort. We didnt realize it was rainy season when we went (Sept), so it was overcast 40% of the time. The resort is about 2 hours from the airport and Panama City, so if you want to do any excursions be prepared for a long car trip. Overall the resort itself was very beautiful and sits right on the beach front. It was quiet while we were there (we were there Mon-Sat so not too many local weekenders were there) so there were always chairs at the pool and reservation spots for dinner. There were quite a number of kids at the "adult" pool so sometime it was a wait to get a spot at the swim up bar. The food was typical resort type food, but it was a little better of a selection and all of the restaurant entrees and appetizers were good (we especially like the Hibichi!!) The rooms were clean but modest with no real ammenities other than bottled water - no liquor or beer in the fridge. Overall it was a relaxing vacation and a beautiful country with lovely people.

Don’t waist your money I’d pay for a Junior suite and they said “you have all premium drinks all day until 9 pm. But just from 6pm to 8 pm, just 2 hours ,and the pool bar have not nothing, no soda, no tomato juice, just balboa beer can , so bad. Very expensive, bad service

I stayed there for a weekend in the mid of summer (rainy season) runing away from the city. The staff was gentle and attentive but while looking for a quiet destination what I found was a place crowded with locals willing to make good use of the buffet and the all-included non-stop hearing to loud salsa (my mistake). The disco plays more local music and the place seems oriented to non-Western customers. Having said this, the beach in front offers opportunities for a great stroll. One final thing: getting there from the airport is somewhat tricky: two hours of hazardous driving in a road full of holes and hot-tempered drivers.

Awful. In desperate need of investment.

The 1 star reviews on trip advisor are correct. This hotel is small and needs investment. It is not worthy of the Sheraton brand: paint is peeling off the walls, food is bad, beach chairs broken. Loud blaring music doesn't help things. Do not visit here unless you get a super cheap deal and come with low expectations.

Great experience and highly efficient upper management!

I spent 3 days here with my girlfriend and got a great deal on Wholesale Hotels Group. Prior to our arrival, I had to contact management with a special request that was out of the norm. The people I interacted with (Rocio and Robert) were extremely accommodating and they went above and beyond to make our stay very memorable. We had unlimited drinks and made reservations every night at the restaurant which I highly recommend. The buffet is not all that amazing at least not for dinner, so be sure you get a reservation and then you will be up for a good experience. Our favorite restaurant was Los Olivos, with fantastic options, nice ambiance and some art in the room. The Club/Lounge was nice too with beautiful views. The premise is extremely secure with a guard checking the list to ensure you are allowed to stay at the resort. Overall, very pleasant stay and I appreciate once again the upper management's help for making our stay a great one!

For people with cheap tastes!

Don't waste your time or spend your money here. I'm not a demanding guest, but the servicie and quality of products here are poor. Food is terrible, desserts are to forget. Drinks with Ron Cortez and Seco Herrerano two cheap rums in Panama give to the Piña Coladas and Mojitos a weird taste. This is the first hotel in the world I have visited that never provided us towels in the room during our entire stay and their staff didn't want to help us with the situation. Room floors soaked and sticky. Blackouts during our stay and they don't have electricty plants or at least emergency lamps. This hotel isn't the shadow of what it was in the beginnings. In general they should have the same prices as The Royal Decameron Panama because they provide the same mediocre service. We 'll never return. Please take note and learn from Four Point Sheraton Bogota, they aren't a resort but to be a 4 star hotel they offer a 5 stars quality of services.
