We generally stay at a five or six golden apple but loved the photos and a lot of the things this four red apple had to offer. I read reviews and decided we would try it. It was awesome the room was the largest room we have ever had and clean. The kids club and waterpark were awesome. The variety of resturants were plenty with great food and great service.Plenty to do day and night with the friendliest staff of workers always willing to accomadate. The beach was nice and clean plenty of chairs and palapas but the ocean is quite rough on that part of the strip. to much for myself and my grandkids but absolutely everything else was fabulous.Well worth the money we would recommend this hotel everyone especially if you have kids.

THE WORST RESORT EVER, STAY AWAY.

This is the worst resort I ever been. 22 of my group of 24 got sick because of the water or the food, both are terrible. We had people with diarrhea and vomiting every day that we stayed there. AVOID THIS PLACE BEFORE YOU GET THERE, IT IS CHEAPER AND SAFER TO GET ANOTHER RESORT.

Good-food was veer good. Lots of choices and restaurants were very good. The service throughout the hotel was great and staff was very friendly and happy. No complaints there. Pool was nice. Some stuff floating in it at times. Always activities in the middle pool if you'd like. No problem getting a hut and chairs on the beach. Staff frequently serviced you with drinks while there. My only complaint for the hotel is the mattresses are very hard and the AC isn't very cold in my room and anywhere in the hotel restUrants. The Japanese restaurant was the coldest. So if you like your room very cold, this hotel isn't it. For the price-I had 1 adult child and a15 and 13 year old, it was a nice trip and hotel.

Needs some TLC but our experience was very good.

The resort needs some TLC for sure. That being said, it was clean and nearly all the employees were outstanding. The food was above average and the entertainment staff was excellent. We would go back for sure but as I started with ... the building itself needs some upkeep. My parents did have a couple issues in their beach front room including some flooding (The shower didn't have a door so they just hung a shower curtain which did not work in that type of shower). They did compensate them with a free night though.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Parnassus Resort

Great hotel at a great location on the Cancun strip. Really enjoyed the restaurants, especially the French restaurant. If I had to pick one thing to complain about, it would be the "slow" elevators. The next time I come back I'm booking a room on one of the lower floors, and taking the stairs!

The place met our goal- pool, pool activities for kids, beach and friendly staff. the rooms was very old and needs updating. the food was fair and the alcohol was definitely watered down and often the high end was not available. All staff were amazing! i would probably not go back because of the food and alcohol. Price was cheap so I did not set my expectations to high to start.

Bottled water is not included

Bottled water is not included in the "all inclusive plan". They charge 50 cents per 8 ounce bottle. And not all restaurants are open at night. And if you pay for an upgrade in advance, they still try to put you in a basic room.

Leaking in bathroom was poorly addressed
JIANMIN Z.
Jan 06 2017
We discovered a leak in the bathroom ceiling and reported to the hotel. Hotel checked it and did not do anything. Two days later, we called them for the same problem. A maintenance person checked for a while and determined that the leak comes from the hotel room upstairs. We asked the hotel if they can do anything to resolve the situation and they did not do anything for the trouble and inconvenience that the leaking caused. They did fixed the leak the day before we left. So I would rate their response to a problem that obviously theirs very poorly.

There was roaches in the buffet area where you were forced to eat almost all of your meals the only meal you could have outside of there was dinner and god knows what those kitchens look like, the place was horrible and disgusting , smelled terrible , everything was old and gross , the place was terrible terrible. , words cannot express how horrible this place was and how bad it smelled, how bad the food was, air conditioning did not work. The wifi was only in the lobby and to get it in your room it was $15 US dollars per day. There were cigarette butts lining the kids pool where your children are swimming, there's also a bar in that pool so people without kids can drink there beside your children. They upgraded us to a "suite" after days of complaining and that was even worse and even more warm Then the other room was , spend $3000 dollars and am furious that I didn't just go to another resort, I stayed at the pyramid at grand oasis just one year prior and it was much better , that's why I brought my family , and I'm embarrassed at this terrible service and I will never use apple vacations again or go to Cancun ever again. Thanks for ruining the first family vacation in over 30 years .

We began traveling 17 years ago, and never went to the same place twice until now! We came to the resort for a week last February, and had a wonderful time. We traveled with family and friends, and there were no negatives whatsoever. It was very much a pleasant surprise when booking this year's trip that our travel agent said that the property had openings. We are counting down the days! It will be nice to see Emilio, who took care of us like we were family. Antonio, who did the same, and didn't get upset with all of the questions that we asked. This year will be family, with a member who has not yet traveled, and I am very happy that he will be able to start his traveling journey at what I think is first class all the way. See everyone in February!

It's an ok hotel.

This hotel is at a nice spot. Good food at the japinese resturaunt (I liked the miso soup). Amazing beaches with good waves. Water park for little children. Infinity pool looking over the beach is a really nice spot. Buffet is ok but not amazing. People who work there are nice. There are good drinks and nice bars. Hotel rooms are ok but not amazing.

Amazing amount of restautants!

We have been to Cancun three times and enjoyed our stay at Parnassus, Our kids enjoyed all the activities for kids and ourselves. The Parnassus has a waterpark just for kids in the front of the hotel.

Family stay in paradise.

This is one of the best family hotels anyone can book. If you have children look no further because the entertainment is fantastic and the location is perfect and very safe. The all inclusive worked well for us and we liked our room. The flight with BA wasn't great but we the hotel was so good that we would do it again.

A difficult time to start. Probably won't return

This hotel firstly is now called Sea Dust. It's located more towards the bottom end quieter part of the strip and caters for more the Mexican guest than the British. In all area. First night we arrived we were given room 130 which overlooks the current and ongoing building works of a new addition the already hotel next door. Constantly banging of hammer drills and crane drills the earth moves with every bang and can be heard and felt within 200 meters of this hotel. There is actually work ongoing in the hotel also by means of upgrading the upper floors and rooms, grinders and hammers most of the day can be heard. We asked to mow room immediately but was told no chance, completely full and absolutely no rooms available, i didn't believe and said I would stand in reception all night if I had to. After an hour we had a chap called oscar come up. He was the hotel night manager and relocated us there and then to the 2nd floor over looking the other side of the hotel. A lot more quite and no building site. We were happy so we went to bed finally. The following day we walked through reception and was greeted by the hotel main manager and I had to have my beef with him from the night before. He apologised and upgraded us to an ocean front room with jacuzzi on the balcony which was great, he could see I was very annoying, but had every right we paid a lot of money for a sea view to start with. The food isn't great but it's ok. Breakfast is the best part and you have the option to have it delivered to the room every day but with limited choice. The pools are clean nice and very spacious and make a cool place to hang out, only if no building noise. The kids pool is great and the slides are cool. My boy 4 loved it there. The evening restaurants are ok. Big Ben is by far the best bit get ready to tip every visit. The Italian one is awful, stay clear. The only other one we tried was manhattan and they got our order wrong first time Over 3 meals on the table. The lobby is quiet and not much happens there, Shane really, some nice big comfy chairs or something would make a huge difference. Playing some music would also help. Not like other hotels we have stayed at on the strip, this one unfortunately was the most boring with ref to the lobby area and vibe throughout. There is an adult only pool, I used once which was nice and clean with a bar etc. Evening entertainment is ok, All In Spanish and aimed at that crowd so British people do have a difficult time. There are a few people who made the holiday a much better time and they are Wileberto and Armando from breakfast Alexandra and dianne from the check in at meal time in the main buffet Tommy and Emma from the entertainment team These folks stood out among other good people. Also the cleaners are polite and nice and don't stop cleaning and sweeping and need to be recognised for their value The timeshare staff get you asap just ignore as they do tend to keep pushing Our shower and jacuzzi Did not work wholly, i.e. All the fancy jets and light etc so it was just a shower and a bath tub in the end but we did have a free upgrade so I guess it's ok? I wouldn't have paid knowing this! This hotel is absolutely huge with over 1200 rooms, serval restaurants and bars, 5 pools and 3/4 shops, it does take a patient person to walk all day from one area to another and can be time consuming especially when the lifts don't work for 3 days. Get it sorted! The beach area needs attention, a lot of rubbish and fag ends everywhere by the sun beds which is t very nice. This is an honest review and I believe it could be a better place/hotel if these points were sorted. Thanks for a reasonable time, good holiday but I don't think we would return as I know there is better for the same budget. To noisy Lies on first night reg room, upsetting us Lots of walking from one end to the other to get from kids pools to restaurants No vibe at the lobby, I believe lobby's are great places to hang out so it needs attention Mr James Family of 3 and one on the way
