My boyfriend and I were coming to Puerto Rico for spring break and have never been here before but we wanted a hotel on the beach which this one was. Upon arrival we thought the hotel looked very nice and loved how close it was to the beach but when we got to the room there was no fridge or microwave for us to bring back food. The room is not bad, it is just basic and the air conditioner works well. When we were going up to the pool after dinner, it was closed at 8pm which was weird because usually pools stay open til around 10 or 11. Then after having a two days without housekeeping we needed toilet paper and the room cleaned since sand was everywhere, so I took the sign off the door and we went to breakfast, came back and nothing was done so I asked the front desk if they could stop up there while we go to the beach and she said i'll send them right up! We come back from the beach at least 2 hours later and still didnt have our room cleaned or toilet paper so I went back to the desk and then by the time the housekeeping came we needed to shower and use the room so we never got sheets we just got towels and toilet paper so we could get ready. When we went to the restaurant down stairs for breakfast, I got pancakes which were so burnt they were black, the day before the food was good but I could not even eat these. Then our flight was later in the day so we asked for a late checkout of just 1pm or 2pm since it says the housekeepers were here til 5pm and they did not care and a older man at the desk did not explain why not or anything.(I work in a marriott and our housekeepers leave at 3 usually and we try to always give late checkouts if needed for the guests). Other than all that, the roof top restaurant and bartenders were the only ones that knew what they were doing and was pleased with them! They check up on you unlike the down stairs waitresses and make sure you get what you need!

Rooftop is wonderful. Right near the airport. Good food options within walking distance. Drinks are on the weaker side, but still wonderful. The scene is a late 20's early 30's crowd. Music is great, but loud. Enjoyable overall.

Too loud music

This hotel is nice but on the weekend what they call music is unnecessary loud until 2 in the morning. My husband and I could not sleep. We called the manager and they said there was nothing they could do. Not acceptable Recommending anyone not to stay here even though rooms after Hurricane Maria are hard to come by. Rooms a little shabby too even though the blue lights mask the real condition.

great find

We needed a spot to stay one night the night before a cruise. This was such a lucky find. I had booked it based on other TripAdvisor reviews. Thanks, everyone! The rooms are comfortable, quirky and above average decor. The location is close to the airport, on the stellar Isla Verde beach. There is a rooftop bar/pool, a nice small restaurant on the ground level. Easy check in and out. There is an elevator, slow, but it is there. I would go back here with pleasure for a longer stay

The location next to the airport is very handy. Lots of good restaurants with in walking distance. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and the service in bar was excellent. The blue lighting in the room is a little odd but once you turn off the colored fluorescent light and use the lamps the room is pleasant.
