Nice boutique hotel right on the beach

We got our room at 12:00, all though the official check in is 16:00. The hotel was full, by the way. Our room was next to the elevator and we were afraid it would be noisy, but it was very quiet. The first impression of the room was shocking - we enter from the hallway and found ourselves in a dark “cave” lit with blue neon. However, after you pull up the curtains, you see that the room, thanks god, is all white, clean and modern. The location is perfect - right on the beach. You get beach towels, beach chairs - complimentary. On the top floor there is solarium with beach chair as well. The view from the terrace is great. It’s a pity that the roof top restaurant is not open in the morning - we were disappointed we could not have breakfast with ocean view...

Hotel is nice

Staff are great at the front desk, room was nice with a fantastic view. Love the ambience. Went for dinner to the roof, sat there for 20 minutes with ZERO service. Sorry, decided to get up an leave... Ended up eating burger king.

A nice hotel on the beach

We stayed at the Water & Beach hotel for 3 nights this winter break. The best part of this place is it's right on the beach, very convenient and close to water activities. Everyone we encountered at the hotel are very nice and polite. However the hotel is overpriced compared to its conditions: There is no closet to hang your clothes, the water temperature for the shower is very tricky to regulate, it's either too hot or too cold, the bathroom is small and the air conditioner is super loud that we had to turn it off at night for sleep. I wonder if the high price is due to the limited number of available hotels in the area after the hurricane Maria, and their regular price is more reasonable. We received complimentary continental breakfast at Zest, the food is quite good. We didn't eat there for lunch or dinner though so I can't comment on that. One night we ate at the restaurant next to the hotel and another night we ate at Metropol, a Cuban/Mexican restaurant about half mile east down the road, both places are very good, you really can't go wrong with food in Purto Rico. We also ate at a Arepa place nearby, found it on yelp, it's a shack but they do have very tasty Arepas.

Intimate Beautiful Ocean Front Hotel

I enjoyed a big partial ocean view room on the 8th floor. The room was very large with bathrobes available for use. Their was an in room safe and free bottled water. A light airy white curtain was behind the two queen size beds. Their was a blue neon light behind the curtains. Each floor of the hotel had tile that looked like rocks in the hallway. The room was with tile floors. The bathroom was elegant with a unique sink and large walk in shower with a partial glass enclosure. The food in the restaurant was delicious but very expensive. I really enjoyed the monte cristo sandwich for breakfast. The hotel had a luxurious rooftop pool and lounge on the 11th floor. The beach was directly across the street and the front desk desk gave you beach towels and they had lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach for hotel guests use.

Grossly overpriced

King room with ocean view.. just average .. a 70’s hotel repainted and spruced up but basic. Blue neon lights in the room give it a Bangkok brothel hotel feel.Few electricity plugs.Dinner in restaurant poor.. breakfast choce limited to either a fruit salad OR oatmeal Or 2 eggs Coffee ghastly. Beach had lots of seaweed. We had a return stay booked after a cruise but cancelled that. Its woth usd100 a nite and not a cent more.
