El Marinero - This snack bar is right on the beach in the Garden Villa Section by the main pool with a beach front terrace. Nothing is too complicated here; for lunch enjoy burgers, hot dogs, nachos and more.

La Isla - This is our most popular place for a la carte breakfast, lunch . With it's perfect mix of casual ambience and tasty cuisine, for dinner, enjoy the Mexican cuisine and late snacks. Dress Code: Casual-shorts or jeans, covered swimwear, no bare feet.

My wife and I booked this trip to celebrate our anniversary. Very impressed with the resort, staff, and overall trip for the price. The resort was undergoing some renovations but nothing that got in our way. If a bar was closed they set up on the beach to serve drinks. Very impressive service. .. More>

we stayed the week of 3/10-3/17 and as many of the other reviews stated, there is still construction going on at this resort. The noise was never a problem, but a main restaurant and the main bar in the lobby area were both being renovated. This of course limited our food availability .. More>

Great Price For A Vacation

This was our first time staying in Cozumel. We have stayed at many All-Inclusive Resorts and our favorite destination in the past has been the Maya Rivera. We loved the smaller airport in Cozumel compared to Cancun. We booked this trip a month prior to our trip from Apple Vacations on a 3 day sale they advertised that included a direct flight from Denver. For the price we paid it was a deal. We upgraded to a Ocean Front Room which we loved. Open the sliding glass door from the room and step out to the beach onto a cushioned lounge chair. We had a housekeeper, Maria, who was an absolute lovely lady. She made towel art for our bed each day and the first day we requested what we wanted our fridge stocked with and it was done every day without asking. All the employees of this resort are wonderful hard working people. Tip them! They work 6 day weeks and long hours. The Spa is really nice and I booked a deep tissue massage with Joy and it was money well spent. You won't believe how more relaxed your vacation will be after using the Spa. Their was a beach bar close to our room so it was a short few steps to order a Margarita. All three pools were open but we preferred the pool with the deep end. It was quieter for our needs but the swim up bar pool is open on the other end if you like more activity and noise. The Portofino Restaurant has ocean view seating and if you get there before 6:30 can usually find a seat in that section. Lovely setting. We usually went to eat around 6:30 and never had to wait. Sometimes if you go at 8:00 there might be a 15 or 20 minute wait. The food was good but by the end of the week would have liked more variety. The Pizza place is closed for low season but wish it had been open. We really liked our Apple Representative, Anbar. In fact she was the most helpful and friendly of all the other resorts we have stayed. We booked a snorkeling trip through her and enjoyed it. She really wants to make sure your stay at the Resort is pleasant. We rented a car for 1 day and drove around the Island and had lunch at Coconuts which I highly recommend visiting. We had dinner in downtown San Miguel at Guido's and enjoyed that. They have a nice patio. The resort has some entertainment and one night an Elvis show. He was very entertaining. Forgot to bring my camera or could have had a photo op with the King after his show. Shared a cab one day with friends we met at the resort for shopping in downtown but also shopped at the Sabor Resort store and the little lady with the beach hut on the beach. Bought some cute swimsuit cover ups. We met a lot of nice people staying at this resort and especially the big group from Pueblo who invited us to join them. We had a great time and got what we needed, a relaxing beach vacation with beautiful sunsets included.
