Our group of 10 stayed from September 15 to 22nd. We had an amazing vacation. So wonderful to be able to sit on your balcony everyday and have the view of the ocean. The food was fabulous. The buffet always had a great selection something for everyone for sure. The staff is very friendly and the service was excellent. I have stayed at lots of resorts in the Caribbean and the entertainment was one of the best we have ever seen. Many thanks to Mr. Lee, he is an excellent general manager and so helpful and approachable. He definitely is the the heart and soul of this resort. We can't wait to stay here again!

Great resort!!

Stayed mid September 2018. Firstly, do not listen to any of the negative reviews... seriously, don't. The food is great, not a huge selection but you can always find something to eat. The a la cartes are good, if you don't like it, you can always go to the buffet after. They have a snack bar which is open until 2am (which serves burgers, hotdogs, pizza, fries, jerk chicken, etc). This snack bar is also open during the afternoon if you want a snack while you're at the beach. Overall the resort is well kept and clean, the rooms and washrooms are very clean and well maintained. Oceanview from every room. You also have access to the sister resort next door, so you can also eat there if you feel for a change. The nightly entertainment is GREAT, live band every evening. The entertainment staff is awesome, shoutout to Raiza, Swiffa, Travis, and the DJs Tony and Tino... you guys are the best! There is a disco on the resort open from 11-2am, the DJ's are great...so go dance and have fun! Front desk staff always friendly and helpful. The resort is also close to the airport and located on the "hipstrip" ...you can walk out to check out the local stores. If you want real jerk chicken, I would recommend buying it off the resort. Also, be sure to try the KFC there! There is a cafe on the second floor of this resort, be sure to check it out. There is also a Starbucks close by the resort. Excursions, definitely recommend Rick's cafe, Dunn's River and Bob Marley tour. Nightlife, check out magaritaville (Thursdays is ladies night, ladies free before 12am) and check out Pier 1 on a Friday ($10 entrance). There is a shuttle from the resort that takes you to both these clubs and back. Ask the front desk for shuttle times. Overall great stay, highly recommend. Would definately stay here again.

The staff was very friendly. They gave us a warm welcoming upon arrival. The food was DELICIOUS and this was both at Cornwall and Montego Bay. I enjoyed my stay and I would return. The nightly entertainment and entertainment staff contributed to this with fun daily activites.👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Just got home after 11 nights here, the hotel is really lovely, perfect location right on the beach with crystal clear sea. The rooms are spotless as is the rest of the hotel. The bar staff were generally ok. The food in the restaurant was terrible, the breakfasts were ok, occasionally lunch was good but the evening meals were awful!!!! Some of the food was cold (and that’s not just the salad) one evening it was Jerk Pork which was as tough as old boots, I foolishly asked for 2 pieces however I couldn’t eat it!!! We ate at the sister hotel which had a much better choice and quality of food. The cafe bar on the beach front was ok for lunch. The staff in the hotel were wonderful, so friendly. The evening entertainment left a lot to be desired, the people who were on 1st were ok, there was a steel band on during our 2nd week and this was fantastic. On our last week the maintenance team decided that they would clean the flooring around the pool area, they were pouring some liquid onto the floor which created fumes!!!!!! This was then scrubbed off using a floor polishing machine and then jet washed away. Unsure why this needed to be done mid day and not at a later time in the day when there was no one around the pool. The pool which is beautiful was cleaned every day. We had been told before we went away about the trouble in Montego Bay, 2nd day we went out to go to the shop across the road. As soon as we stepped outside the hotel some locals came to “assist us crossing the road” they took us to their friends shop for us to buy what we needed but then “persuaded” us to look in their shops which was down a side street out of public eye and was basically a lock up with no lights, it was terrifying, we bought 2 items just to get out of there. We did venture out alone again after being told by a local that all we had to do was say no, as if there are police around and they see tourists being pestered by ‘shop keepers’ they will be locked up. We did get pestered but did say no and they left us alone. Although this might read as a negative review we really enjoyed the holiday. We went to Dunn’s River falls which was fantastic, the blue lagoon which is an evening trip which is amazing, and Ricks Cafe for the sunset, great trips.

Raymond was our driver from the hotel that we stayed at and was very courteous and respectful of our needs. He was quite informative as to the sites and history of Montego Bay. We had a great experience👍🏻and would recommend him to any traveler who is in need of a driver at a reasonable rate. Traveltogethertoursja.com
