We will go back
Ruth H.

This was our first trip to Cabo and we were not sure how it would compare to the Riviera Maya since we normally go there. I will say this trip was wonderful! We will be going back next year. We love that it is only a 2 hour flight to paradise. The only thing that we did miss was the tropical feel, it is more of a desert feel. The hotel was fantastic and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The grounds were beautiful and one of the cleanest we have been to. The only thing that would be a 4 star in our room was the bed, it was a little too soft for my back. The maid service is the best I have seen. Our room was spotless every day, even the floors and the balcony. You can't fo into the water in this area so if you are a beach swimmer this is not the resort for you. The service around the pool was great and we really never had to wait for a drink. The food was good, I am a picky eater with some food allergies but was able to find great tasting food. The Steakhouse was our favorite and we did not like the Italian. The general buffet was great with lots of choices and we would have been satisfied with just that. The check in and check out process was a breeze. We were supposed to check out at 11:00 am and we did not leave until 2:00 pm, however I ate something that did not set well with my stomach the night before we left and could not get out of bed. Because I was so sick, my husband asked if we could stay in the room longer. The manager was so nice and allowed me to stay in bed until 1:30. My husband checked us out and we left for the airport. As I said we will be back next year and will be bringing more family. Due to the food sickness I would give this resort a 4.8 out of 5 stars!

Food was terrible. Alcoholic drinks was terrible. Attitude of some of the staff could have been better. Would definitely not recommend this hotel.

The views at this resort were awesome. Didn't care for the service that much. Although we came across SOME friendly staff, the majority of them just stared at us and made us speak first no matter where we were, bar, restaurant, front desk, etc. On a scale of 1-10 I would give the food a 4. The maid came to our room several times a day which was okay. Wish there were more daily activities at this resort. We had to walk over to the RIU Santa Fe resort for all of the entertainment which was a bit tiring sometimes because of the long flight of stairs. The main thing I didn't like is that it was hard for us to just lay back and relax on the beach because they allow people to come up on the property and attempt to sell whatever it is they desire. We were offered everything from massages to DRUGS...seriously? When we stayed in other areas of Mexico, this was NOT allowed. There were not trespassers at all. We didn't want to close our eyes while laying out on the beach because we were too scared someone would take our things! Nice resort but I more than likely would never stay there again.

In spite of having to miss our connecting flight and missing the first day of our vacation, we enjoyed the days we did have. The place is kept spotlessly clean, people are cleaning all of the time. The food at the buffet is extremely good. Everyone of the staff her was friendly and nice to us. Service was outstanding. Never felt ill at ease here about anything at all. Loved it and hope to return.

The hotel rooms are extremely loud there is no carpet so everything is amplified including all the drunk people that come home at three in the morning They say there is not supposed to be spring breakers at the hotel but don’t believe it they are everywhere and it’s very noisy especially after 9:00 PM

Loved the hotel and the area. The Scenery was amazing and we loved the pool and the bar. The food was simply acceptable at best. Nothing tasted like it had been made that day, but rather had been warmed up in a sub-par microwave. Otherwise we had a great experience.

Loved this hotel! We booked the Swim-out suite and were not disappointed! The room was great, the beds were wonderful...I haven't slept that well in years! The Krystal Restaurant had really great food, I especially enjoyed the Pineapple 3 ways for dessert! The entire staff was wonderful. We also ate at Medano Steak house and the steak was amazing...melted in our mouths. The chicken also had an amazing flavor. The Salmon was crazy good...just a little salt and pepper. Wish I knew how they prepared it! This really is an all-inclusive everything is included even the drinks and they have 24hour room service! The food at the buffets were surprisingly good, not overly salted food like you find at most buffets. They had a lot of different foods from Pizza to Steak and Seafood. The staff was very friendly and they continually clean the property. We had several staff members ask us if everything was okay and if not, what can they do to fix it. I will go here again. Note, that check -in is at 3pm. We arrived a few hours early and had to wait for our room to become available, however while we waited we were able to enjoy the amenities!

This hotel was very big and was very pretty. The resort was expansive. The rooms were good sized as well and came with a wet bar with hard liquor dispensers. There were 2 pools and one of the pools had a swim up bar. We did see the bartenders watering down the tequila. Overall this hotel was nice and a short drive to downtown.

All inclusive resort with two pools, a few restaurants, and some kids (NO Swimming in the ocean)

This is my second time going to an all inclusive resort in Mexico (my previous time was in Cancun). The amenities at the resorts include alcohol at the restaurant, pool, and a minibar in the room. For breakfast and lunch, you had buffet options while there were four special restaurants open at night with waiter service. I tried the Indian, Japanese, and fusion restaurants on three separate nights. The Indian was my favorite. The hotel is good, but I was not overly impressed. There are two large pools with zero shade coverage during the day. So I swam before 9am and after 5pm to prevent major burns. One pool has activities all day for partying and the other pool is more calm for the introverts. Waiters are constantly around smiling, asking if you need anything, and offering drinks. Try to bring $1s and $5s before leaving the USA and tip those hardworkers! You can sit by the beach with some palm trees as shade...though there will be a few vendors trying to sell you wood carvings, robes, trinkets, etc, but they must stay behind the white rope. It prevents them from getting too close to you (and provides some privacy). Also, you cannot swim in the ocean near the hotel. There are lifeguards nearby blowing their whistles and telling you to get away from the water (you can't even dip your toes in due to the heavy pull of the ocean). If you walk on the beach a little over a mile north of the hotel, then you can swim in the ocean. Typically, I use the "$20 sandwich" technique to tip the front desk to help make my stay more pleasant, but I received no help or additional amenities. The front desk guy (Chris) didn't even steer me towards my room. So I'd say save your money from the front desk, they can't help much. The rooms are set and everything is printed before you get there, it is very difficult to get an upgrade. The people calling cabs and walking around are very helpful and deserve tips. My room had a small private pool which seemed to attract all sorts of bugs. At nights, I did have a few mosquitoes in the room and noticed many marks in the wall of previous mosquito killings from past hotel guests. Room service is complimentary, but there were very limited options to choose from. I did use the gym which was split into two separate areas. One by the beach with mostly treadmills, and the other near the spa with some weight machines. Every night there was always an event to see (such as a dance, singing, or other competition). I was there during the world cup and they even had a large TV playing all the games. Overall, it was an enjoyable week in Cabo, but I probably will never go back.

Tried to reserve the shuttle to airport and back and they won't help out at all. Paid over $1000 for the hotel and refuse to help out at all. Very disappointing. Called they said have to reserve shuttle 5 days in advance but nowhere did I see that when i booked my hotel through them
