Flamboyant Lounge & Terrace - Overlooking the pool and beach offers casual dining inside and outdoors. Open daily 11am-midnight. Menu served through 10pm.
Saman Room & Terrace - Open-air as well as indoor dining. Open 7am-11am (except Sunday). Sunday brunch served 11am-2:30pm.
Mahogany Room & Terrace - Most formal dining area beautifully decorated. Dinner served Tuesday through Saturday 6pm-9pm.

Wonderful, Relaxing and Serene

Just returned from beautiful St. Croix. The Renaissance Hotel was an absolute wonderful place to stay. It was the most peaceful, relaxing place to stay. On the edge of the rain forest, on the beach every place you look is picturesque. Our stay was during their off season and it was like having the place to ourselves even though there were plenty of people around to strike up a conversation with. I would highly recommend this place!

Had a nice stay at the resort in January. Our flight was late, and, although our travel agent had contacted Apple about it, our transfer from the airport to the resort never showed up. It was about 8:30 pm at the St. Croix airport, which was quite dark. Luckily, a rental car office was open and I talked to the lady there about a taxi to the resort. She indicated some men playing cards in the corner were the local taxi drivers. I talked to them to arrange a ride to the resort. The man picked seemed rather put out at us interrupting his card game, but he did take us to the resort. The transfer back to the airport at the end of the week by the Apple person went without a problem. The week at the resort was nice. It has a nice beach, although, there is enough surf that swimming would be difficult. The food in the restaurant (there were only two restaurants open during the week- one was used for breakfast and the other for lunch and dinner) was fair to good. Service tended to be slow, but friendly. Plan on at least an hour for a meal. However, we found this to be relaxing and just planned meals accordingly. The resort is a ways from any restaurants on the island. It would be prohibitively long to go most places by cab. But, we did find a nice restaurant at the east end of Cane Garden Bay which was only about a 10 minute taxi ride from the resort. We then arranged for the taxi to pick us up after dinner. This worked well and was a nice change from the resort restaurant. The room was clean and good sized. However, there were bugs of some sort and over the course of the week, we each experienced a number of bug bites. In all, it was a good week for a reasonable price, and we would go back.

Beautiful place, but will never go back because of hotel experience. Horrible service, didn't even have my reservation or my mother's-had to spend first two days in a filthy old room. Then, the staff promised an upgrade, never followed up, and was rude when I inquired about the upgrade. Finally got an upgrade after speaking with the manager. Ruined my honeymoon, and whole travel experience to St. Croix. Can't believe I took four other people with me as part of my wedding party, thank goodness I hired a wedding planner, and didn't hire the hotel!! I have always used Apple, but will not again-can't afford to be miserable on a vacation again.

Mediocre visit in 2011 but it won't let me choose that. Was half under construction and staff was kind of pissy about asking for a non construction adjacent room. Eventually fixed it but I really had to complain.

It’s secluded but that’s perfect. Very attentive staff and great attached dive center. I would definitely have a rental car so that you don’t rely on taxis to get you around the island. I hope that you all are recovering from the terrible hurricane and that you are all back to work soon.

The hotel manager & staff were awesome. The room were spacious , clean & comfortable. The restaurant and entertainment were awesome. The beach was beautiful (but a bit of a walk from the rooms) and the dive shop had lots of SCUBA & water sport options at fair prices.

My wife and I went here for our honeymoon. It was amazing, we loved the food, exploring the area and the local attractions "scuba diving". The staff was amazing and our room was really nice, a bit dark though. I have recommended them to friends and family many times! Make sure you take the high to the tide pools and check out the local eats too. We always had breakfast there, it was always great and then sometimes we would leave the resort to explore the local attractions.

Sure it's beat up thanks to Irma and Maria, but the staff have been amazing. We (responders) are so thankful for what they've been able to provide and support us with as we try to return the favor and support USVI's return. I've heard there's been a few disrespectful visitors to the hotel and I'm sorry for that. They've already begun repairing the hotel and property. I'm sure it will be as amazing, if not better than before. The rooms were mostly unaffected. The main lobby areas took a beating. Groundskeeping is doing a great job keeping up with the debris and flora on the property. It's really a great place to stay and please consider staying here when they are fully repaired and operational. Personal Note - Your associate Adam L. was amazing and super kind to me when checking in late one night as yet another responder being housed there. Again, I'm so thankful for all the hotel and staff has done for us. Sorry for the bad apples.
