Couldn't charge to my room as my account was locked for the reason known to them. Need to have better trained front desk manager. When asked at the front desk why my account was locked they said that at the time I checked in I should have told them to keep it open with a deposit. never had to do that before.

I was hoping to dine at factory steak and losbter at this hotel and my access to the restaurant was denied because of my “young” look, as the crew member said. I called to the hotel to talk to the manager and talked about my issue, and as a reply they just hang up...

After staying 1 night in Leon and 4 nights in Granada and having wonderful time we finished the last 24 hours of our trip in the intercontinental hotel. we stayed at room 603. it had beautiful view of the lake and the city.all the amenities in the room were very good. the pool is beautiful. we went across to the metrocentro mall which was nice. the service in the hotel was good. we had lunch and breakfast at the Market place restaurant and dinner at the Factory restaurant both located in the hotel. the food and service were very good. despite the reported riots in prior weeks i have to say that i felt very safe

Excellent

Our stay in the intercontinental was a joy. We were in Managua buying a automobile, ( a stressful situation here) and everyday we came back tired and cranky, we were pampered and taken care with fabulous meal and great cocktails. We are coming back soon.

Not many tourists about as advised not to travel. But the bar area of the hotel made it a pleasant visit. The staff generally did not speak much English but we got what we wanted and enjoyed the music and people dancing by the bar.
