Worst check in ever!
Wed Feb 14 15:37:55 EST 2018
The worst check in ever, I have stayed here before and had a great time, I got married this time and my family came from the uk to stay one night in your hotel and everybody was upset and all our plans for the two days were ruined because of the late check in after such a long flight to Mexico.

Great Hotel and Service

We stayed there right after new year. We had probably one of the best family vacation ever. Our 5 years old son loved the outstanding pools, so many of them, with cascades, slides, etc....He was blown away with so many things to do for him. There is even a kids club on property. Top Service from Concierge Armando, Manager Alejandro and a big Kudos to Chef Giuseppe at the Italian Restaurant. We ate there several times. Our room was stunning, with incredible views, in room coffee and top notch room cleaning. It's an impressive hotel with a beautiful beach. There were daily evening activities for families, with shows, dances, very nicely done. We loved the shallow waters of the ocean, great for kids and non swimmers as well, however just make sure you look after kids in the ocean as currents might get strong. We met Ricardo, new General Manager of the property. He and his team are doing a great job. We heard about more renovations coming up and some of it is already done. So great things to come. We will definitely come back very soon. Again, thanks to Ricardo and his team for an exceptional and unforgettable family vacation.

We travelled to the Princess Mundo Imperial the last two weeks of January 2018. It was our first time back to Riviera Diamante in 10 years!! We had always stayed at Pierre Marques (now named Pierre Mundo) from 1995 on to 2008. Direct flight from YYZ with SunWing - ACA customs etc. still pretty unorganized and painfully slow - shuttle from ACA to the Princess is about 7-8 minutes. Our stay was 9.5 out of 10 - FOOD at the Beach Club was EXCELLENT (the Shrimp Cocktail/Shrimp tacos and the Mexican burgers were terrific!! Tavola dining was 5 star and well worth making reservations !! SERVICE throughout our stay was exceptional (other than a few disappointing Main Bar experiences) and our Accommodations were what you should expect from a 4-5 star hotel. A few staff stood out for their uber professionalism and attention: Israel Olivares at Chula Vista would very well be the Benchmark for outstanding Customer service - engaging without condescending and always smiling and showing genuine interest in our daily activities!! Other notable mentions would be Alejandro Alqubiras, Salvador Dominguez and Juan Carlos Velazquez from the Beach Club - always attentive and providing excellent service!! The SunWing rep (Ernesto Pineda) was always available and very helpful with many of the Hotel/All inclusive package details. As always, the Beach and the weather were superb. It was disappointing that there weren't more golfers to play with - both Turtle Dunes and the Princess course were in great shape and the greens were superb and running at 11!! We will definitely urge our friends to join us next year with the hope that there are better golf packages made available.

We had a very nice trip. Overall the resort was better than expected. We would definitely go back. We have been on 20 trips to Mexico 4 star resorts, thus I will only list the items that were better or worst than expected. Positives; Highly attentive service staff. Very clean room and linens. Air-conditioned bathrooms by the pool. Good food and drink service on the beach under the Palapas. Wet sand to walk on and not burn feet when too hot. Good Beach Club restaurant quality of food. Good beach chairs Great long beach for walking Ocean water was super clean Decent Wifi everyware Negatives; Fungus on pool wall. Room a/c week. ATV's on beach are source of noise and dust.
