Older than expected

The hotel room was in need of paint and plumbing issues. Towels were old and thin, sheets and bedspread were old and thin. The grounds, pool, and beach were excellent. The food was good with fresh cooked items. The service was excellent and we did enjoy our stay.

Great Place for the Price!

My husband and I found cheap flights to Cabo San Lucas, and decided to search and see if we could find any all inclusive places that were cheap and nice to stay at. We searched on apple.com and came across Posada Real. We didn't have high expectations, knowing it was a three star resort, but we were looking for a budget trip with a beach. We were so pleasantly surprised by Posada Real. It is a dated resort, but everything was clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful. It is on the ocean, and it is has a wonderful beach. You can not swim in the water, but you can still walk in the water and enjoy the massive waves. Also there is a beautiful pool with a swim bar, and we never had a hard time getting a lounge chair. We paid for a garden view room, and we had a 3rd floor room facing the garden and could see the ocean from our balcony. It was beautiful. The room was very clean. We had two full beds, and it would have been nice to have a king, but for us we were just happy to have a beautiful view. We aren't ones to spend a lot of time in the room, so we really didn't mind. The food was good. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were a buffet. There were many choices, and all though some of it weren't my favorite, there are enough choices you can find something you like. We also order from the pool side menu daily. They had many great choices. The drinks were great! In past experiences, and what I have heard, people say at all inclusives the drinks are weak. That was not the case here! Over the course of 5 days, I tried many different drinks and loved them all. Again, this is a great budget trip. We were able to relax and enjoy a beautiful location without breaking the bank. I would highly recommend Posadas Real, and I could definitely see us coming back.

HORRIFIC!

I don 't even know where to start. I will say we had to change room three times. The rooms were filthy, hotel filthy, and no room service. The photos on apple were deceiving, the ratings were false, and someone has lied. The buffet was HORRIBLE, food was the same breakfast, lunch and dinner, and pretty much the same everyday. The beverages were watered down tremendously. No elevators, had to lug our own luggage from room to room and brought down our own luggage at check out. There are water stations around the hotle grounds and are dirty and disgusting. I did not drink out of them. When we prepared to shower or use the sink faucet we found there was no hot water, not even warm. When we acquired about the water, the hotel staff looked at us as if we were crazy about having hot water. The response from the staff is "we don't have hot water." Really? If i had known even half of this stuff I would have NEVER NEVER booked this resort. I can't even go on as I don't know how to continue. I would expect some compensation from this stay. I have to say this was the most horrific vacation, waste of time, and most importantly waste of money. You were contacted the first evening we arrived, the second evening, and I believe the third. We were contacted and only asked if we were okay. We were okay, but not satisfied. It was difficult to understand the individual on the other end of the line and not sure if she would have been able to comprehend all the problems.

The cleanliness of the hotel was very poor. I did not expect a five star hotel for the price I paid but was expecting the hotel and pool to be cleaner. All I wanted for my vacation was to swim in the pool, tan and have some cocktails, but the pool was very dirty and no way did my friends or I want to swim in it.

Enjoyable week at the Posada

My Husband and I spent 1 week at the Posada real. Stayed in Room 348, partial ocean view, 3rd floor. If you are looking for a fancy resort, this is not it. If you are looking for a quaint, authentic Mexican feeling property you are looking at the right place. It is a clean property, maidservice was great, even though they took a clean washcloth that hadn't been used and didn't replace it.... Food was good! Our fave was the little snack bar at the pool. Guac, fish tacos, chevice every day!! Shout out to Victor and Benido. Wonderful service from these two all week. Victor always greeted us with the biggest smile and genuinely made us feel like friends. Benido is a freaking workhorse! He hustled all day, each day, always friendly, always with a smile. You cannot swim in front of the resort, some tried and no one got hurt while we were there. We did see Turtles being released one evening, that was super special! Took 2 tours, taste of Cabo and the Sea of Cortez tour. Taste of Cabo, the boat ride to the arch was cool, tequila tasting was in the mall and lunch was great at a little place in San Jose del Cabo. Sea of Cortez was AMAZING. Snorkeled with wild Sea lions! The lunch was fantastic and our Guide, Poncho was the best! a must do!! any questions, shoot me a message!

Older resort but a very clean location. The gardens were well cared for, food was great, we enjoyed nightly entertainment. The staff are wonderful, helpful and very welcoming. The nights were quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to shopping, easy access to bus.

We spent 12 nights here and every one of them was fantastic! We felt welcomed upon arrival, the room was clean with a view of the garden and ocean and the staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Only downfall was not being able to swim in the ocean due to the strong current but sitting on the beach watching the waves was just as amazing. Special thanks to Bernardo, Victor and Viktor, Benito and a few others... you all were awesome! We definitely recommend Posadareal and will go back!

Well, what can we say that hasn't already been said? From the initial welcome by the wonderful front desk and lobby staff to the fantastic room and food we enjoyed ourselves once again. A lovely clean and bright room on the second floor overlooking the garden and little ocean view while reading on the patio. This visit lunch was a small offering of soups, salads and fruits...plus an a la carte menu for cooked to order choices...something a little different from our past trips. I believe this is due to low season but it was fantastic!! I still can't say enough about the beautiful foods that are prepared here. I am 80% vegetarian now and can find lovely things to fill my plate! Lots of hours spent walking the beach and lounging at the pool...wonderful staff and drinks...Benito still the man!!! Our new bartender Valentin was a gem...forgive me not to add all the names here but each and every staff member is amazing and kind and always on the look out for whatever you need. Going back in January...cannot wait...I love this home away from home!! lisa & jeff

The grounds are impeccable, the rooms are clean and quiet. The staff are amazing. This place is such a little gem - I almost don't want to say how lovely it is, as I don't want it to get spoiled. It's small, and it's not a fancy 5 star. But
