Have stayed at this hotel before- hotel is great. Dealing with Apple Vacations was the absolute WORST and a huge waste of my time. Very incompetent staff!

A convenient place to stay near the beach, a large variety of restaurants and shopping. Great places to walk very close and easy access to main roads. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Only surprise was the large fee to park a rental car daily.

Our room wasn't ready at 3:00 check-in, but we were able to get a different one pretty quick. Staff was very helpful for the most of our trip. Didn't have quite the same Hawaii feel we enjoyed in the past. A lot of homeless were sleeping on the streets in front of our hotel, so location wasn't perfect.Beach view was wonderful.

Beware of the Resort fee!!!

Very average hotel but good location. Ocean view rooms are nice city hotel rooms are dark and small. I had 2 rooms one of each for our family of 6. Wifi did not work in hotel room. Maid service late every day always around 3pm..but the worst thing was the resort fee... there are no amenities at this hotel, no gym or laundry.. pool very basic!! But I had confirmation from when I booked in February that there was a fee of $25 per night per room.. on check out I did question this fee as I did not have coffee in room wifi did not work fridge froze everything.. the list went on and I had notified the hotel during my stay.. then to be told the fee had increased to $39 per night per room and that even though I had confirmation from my booking they could increase it at any time. This is such a lot to charge for no resort amenities... and to give you some idea the 5 star hotels in Waikiki charge $38 resort fee. They did in the end negotiate this fee with me but I will never stay at this hotel again... my advice shop around there are a lot of better places

Just like the reviewer “globetrotter714” stated in his review everything he is saying is true! We are currently here on a 10 night stay and are experiencing the same situation! No shuttle bus..no hospitality suite..no Wednesday night managers cocktail party! No water or coffee in the lobby etc...Funny though all these inclusions are still advertised in their in room tv hotel channel! High gate are the new owners of this hotel and couple others nearby. The area is central and lots of restaurants close by and the beach across the street from the hotel is amazing! My advice is to save your money on all the extra fees and stay in a condo or a hotel where the fees are less!

Great location and staff! but, yeah that's pretty much it

If you we're to take a quick scroll through the reviews of the Park Shore, two things would ring consistently throughout. Friendly staff & amazing location. I gotta say I've stayed at many hotels in my life and the Park Shore's staff are definitely one of the nicest I've encountered. Roxy and Michelle were a delight, and a gentleman with a Hawaiian name too. I can't remember his name. However, the staff can only do so much to contribute to the overall experience of a vacation. Upon arrival I was unwillingly charged an insane amount for my amenity fee and vallet parking. When I booked, my confirmation stated a $25 amenity fee and $28 vallet parking. When I checked in however the agent explained to me that the hotel had recently gone under new management and they would not be honoring my set agreement. Now I know the staff is just doing their job, but I thought that was a real shady way of running a business. When I agreed to the rate at the time of booking I expect to be paying that same amount when I arrive. Not honoring that gave me the impression that all the hotel cares about is making money. Not a very good first impression for a lot of guest I would imagine. The amenities were lackluster at best and in my opinion did not validate a $39 extra fee a night. The hotel is in a great location for sure, but if you carbon dated the place I'm pretty sure it would put this hotel at 60+ years of age. And it shows. You would think with all money they we're squeezing out of guests they would use some of that to spruce the place up. It's in need of major revitalization. Housekeepers were surprisingly friendly, when they were around. I was constantly having to call down to get my room cleaned. Every time I did I was asked if I had left my "do not disturb" sign on to which I responded no. According to the front desk agent I'm supposed to get DAILY room cleaning service which clearly did not happen for my room. Maybe my Harry Potter cloaking spell finally kicked in and the maid skipped it who knows. Check out was interesting, left around 7am only to be greeted by a Beyonce concert worthy line. I felt bad for the guy working the front by himself. Never have I been to a hotel where they scheduled one staff member during peak operation hours. Maybe someone called in sick, but the front desk seemed to be understaffed every day. I grew a beard standing in line one time just waiting to ask about good restaurants in the area. Went back to my room to shave, and when I came back down I think someone in the line passed out from dehydration. Kidding, but you get the point. All in all if you're looking for a hotel with amazing and helpful staff, great location, and an breathtaking view, look no further. If you're more accustomed to the lavish and modern decor of the Ritz, this ain't it.

Not worth, low scale for upscale prices when you include fees.

Stayed one night. Room was rather small and hotel is not in best location. Hotel charges a 39 dollar resort fee along with a 45 dollar parking fee. When you add the cost of room with fees your better off staying up the road in a more upscale location.

Excellent front desk service.

Excellent location near food and shops. Easy walking distance to international mall.. so many places were nearby. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and stocked. Even was quiet for me.. I will for sure stay their again. I had a partial view oh the ocean. It was beautiful. Just walk down to the beach. And there it was..
