My only mistake was no choosing Dream Hotel which is next to it. This hotel is good for old couples or people who enjoys the panoramic view form the mountains. The rooms and "floors" are divided in small two or three floor building spread and you need a small golf-like-cart that runs every 15 minutes from the beach to the rooms. There are no detailed schedule with events, but I'll tell you, no shows on Mondays and Tuesdays... the death hour are from 6 to 7 where you will find NO food at any of her restaurants. Finally, the Dreams hotel is next to it, the price is slightly more but it worths it because Dreams is actually next to the beach, 7 restaurants, LIFE GUARDS, pools, an amazing beach side with fishes and has a real kid area with amenities (not just a ghost kid area like the Royal park, nobody said hello when I AWs there with my kid for 10 minutes). The WiFi sucks but I guess thats fine because you go for vacations, but tell that to your kids or your iCloud trying to catching up. The food is below acceptable, the bar tenders are acceptable (still dont know anything about drinks) All the personnel are really kind, congratulations to the entrenchment staff which are the same 6 people all the freaking week!! (poor guys) but the administrative are moody. Anyway... if I'd read this before I definetely will pay 15 bucks more and move to Dreams Hotel.

I'm going to give you a honest and fair review about this hotel coming that I can talk with locals since I understand the Spanish language 100% and myself am hispanic. This is definitely a 3.5 stars hotel. The Good, all the people are friendly and very hard working there they will make your stay pleasant the people with the green shirts are the managers and they have a little temper since they manage but it was okay. The people make this hotel and they make like 60 dollars every two weeks working extremely hard. Please, be humble and tip these people 20 pesos is like a dollar and 50 like 2.50 the people would appreciate it. Now, the bad that makes this a 3.5 it's on a hill so you have to do a lot of walking, but they have golf carts to take you up if you decide not to walk. The walking is nice since there is all you can eat its nice to walk. The second major thing is the food it's just okay, one of the timeshare guys told me that he hates the hotel because of the food. it's mostly local food and if your not into that and not wanting to try eat somewhere else but it's going to cost you. This hotel is associated with Park royal vacations by the lobby they will try to sell you timeshare at the airport and hotel and it's definitely not worth it trust me, you can find a cheaper vacation on your own telling you they can find cheaper air fare don't fall for it. Also, get a taxi out of the airport its much cheaper inside it will cost you like 430 pesos, and if you just get to the exit and wait for a taxi its like 230 much cheaper. I made a lot of friends in huatulco also if you need a guide and can speak a little Spanish call this taxi guy he works for the taxis in front of park royal his name is gencho best guide ever patient cheap and took me everywhere to see huatulco saving me money his phone number +52 (958)100 8533 Mexican number.

We are from San Diego and he an amazing time in Huatulco. People at park royal are super nice. Everything was really good. Our room was great. Food is really good. Had an amazing time. They have two pools that are very clean. You can spend time at the bar that is all included. They have snacks at 1:00 pm before the buffet opens for lunch. The beach is in front of the pool and buffet and you can enjoy drinks and snacks while you are at the beach.

we enjoyed out stay there and was very pleased with everything except the food. If the meats were just cooked longer it would of made a big difference. The place is beautiful , with very nice rooms, views and staff service. English speaking staff are limited but do their best to assist you any way possible. I would recommend going there to anyone.
