Requested a king bed with our reservation and checked in to only two double beds. If you don't mind sleeping with your companion in a double then you will do fine as they supposedly only have 4 king beds in the entire complex of course they have queen but no such luck in our case. My boyfriend and I visited this resort at the end of April and it was a great experience! The food was absolutely awesome, with SO many options to choose from every day! As well, I'm not sure what people are complaining about with making reservations for the Italian and Mexican restaurants, as we just walked up to the reservation desk any time between 12 and 3 and were easily booked in for whenever we wanted (though it is off-season, so maybe it's more difficult in the busier times). In fact, the food was so good that we cancelled our dinner reservations in Cozumel and opted to stay in the resort, and ate at either the Italian or Mexican restaurants every night. As well, the buffet had TONS of options. The only complaint I'd have about the food is that the beachside snack bars have very few options compared to other all-inclusive resorts I've visited, offering only burgers, hotdogs, and gross-looking pizza. I was dreaming of the guacamole before getting here, but unfortunately, it was hard to find. The rooms were clean and bright, and while I know other reviewers have said to request a room 5 floors or higher, we had floor 4 and had a great view. The noise wasn't too bad either. There definitely IS a beach to speak of, though it is small. If you're looking for wide expanses of beach to walk down, don't come here, because it's a little cove with FANTASTIC snorkelling, but not a large beach at all. Fortunately, the beautiful infinity pools are right by the ocean with an awesome view and great swim-up bars. I really like how this resort has pools right on the ocean, as opposed to so segregated like some other resorts. I was a little taken aback by the moods of a lot of the people working there. I've never been to a resort where they seemed to be unhappy and grumpy a lot of the time. Even though I tried to tip the bartenders, etc., they just didn't seem happy to be there. I'm not saying they have to love their jobs, but I just didn't get a lot of smiles from anyone working there. Also, it seemed a little bit cheap of the hotel to charge for a safe and wifi. If you can get a signal, buy wifi from the resort across the street, as it's much cheaper (which is what we did), or if you don't need it in your room, the bar across the street has it for free. Also, we rented a car one day to drive around the island from a shop right beside the resort. I definitely recommend NOT going there, as the jeep was a piece of trash with a non-working speedometer, hard-to-shift gears, and broken seat belts. I've heard good things about the place across the street though, so maybe try there. All in all, my boyfriend and I plan to come back here in the future and were absolutely pleased with how everything turned out. The snorkelling was better AT the resort than the Fury Catamaran tour we took, and everything was clean and yummy.
