Nice stay at this hotel

We stayed at the Ocean Terrace Inn for 2 weeks and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a great location close to town and the airport. Our room was spacious and had good amenities. There are great views of the ocean and towards town from the balcony areas and Verandah restaurant. We enjoyed nice meals at both the Verandah and Fishermans wharf restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful, special mention to Leonard. Would definitely recommend the Ocean Terrace Inn for a stay in St Kitts

Had a quick over night in St Kitts and stayed at this little gem. About a $15 ride from the airport. You probably could arrange for a shuttle to pick you up from the airport as they dropped me off at my destination the following day free of charge (I tipped of course). My stay at the Ocean Terrace Inn was a lovely one. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Slept like a rock! Plenty of tv stations and free Guest WiFi. The view was absolutely stunning. They have a gym with plenty of equipment (treadmill, elliptical, weight station and free weights). It’s not top notch stuff but it does the trick! Their lazy pool was really nice and relaxing. The water was slightly cool making it the perfect temperature to soak, enjoy the breeze and listen to a little music. Had breakfast in the morning at the Verandah. Staff was nice, coffee was excellent and my omelet was fluffy and tasty. There’s lots of security on grounds so you feel safe at all times. There are safes in the rooms for your important items and they’re easy to use. Close the door, type your own personal code and hit #, retype same code to open. Easy peasy! No complaints about this establishment whatsoever.

Good hotel with a great view of the city

The hotel is great, very helpful staff, the facilities are good as well, the room was always clean, the hotel has a good location within a walkable distance to the center of the city. My only advice would be to include breakfast in the price of the room

Amazing

The place was amazing . The swimming pools and the palm trees. The space you have in your room, bathroom, and loads of closet space. Definitely highly recommended. I had a good time. Their breakfast is great. Pancakes with bacon 😁

Fantastic pool, great views of Basseterre

I stayed in for one night as part of a wider Caribbean trip. I wanted to be close to the city so I could explore and also to the ferry from Nevis and a short drive from the airport. I was staying the week before Christmas week. I chose this due to it's location and apparent value for money. The hotel is west of the city centre within walking distance. It is in a residential area and is very quiet from that point of view. The views down onto Basseterre and over to Nevis are superb. Entrance is on the street and from there all the rooms cascade down the hillside to the pool at the bottom. By reception is the Verandah restaurant (closed except for dinner on a Friday night!). Stairs go down one level where there is a shop on some rooms (including mine) and then further stairs to the lower levels. My room was a bad choice. Room 101 (no pun intended but it should go into that infamous bin). Not the rom itself, it was well maintained with a good bed and bedding, a huge walk in wardrobe and a good bathroom, outside terrace with chairs and table, satellite TV, free wifi, coffee maker and fridge plus a sink. Air con too. The reason I would not stay in it again was noise. All evening loud and night load music wafted from the port area and I found it disturbing to be able to sleep. Additionally above you is the restaurant which came to life from 0600 when breakfast service started and every footstep can be heard. Additionally, below you are service areas where you hear staff all the time and the corridor the room is on is also home to offices for the hotel so during the day time there is noise from there. If you open the french doors to the terrace and leave them open it creates a wind tunnel into the corridor making further noise. I can't speak for other rooms, however I am sure they would not suffer all of the same noise issues. The pool was superb. Like a jungle paradise and lovely and quiet too. Enjoyed it. there's a gym on site, looked good, but did not use on this occasion. Breakfast service was adequate (included in my rate), however service was poor with the staff openly arguing between themselves in front of customers. Front desk staff were very good.
