Near everything but not silly prices like on beach front.close to cinema, pubs and supermarket. Getting a bus downtown is easy or taxi not expensive. Great value. Small repairs needed near pool on boardwalks.

Horrible service, hot rooms, blaring music!

Unfortunately we booked a five night stay at this hotel. Check in was complicated or first room was extremely hot and they moved us the second room never did get really cool. Beds were uncomfortable period service people were unfriendly period music was blaring allowed everywhere you went I felt like I was in a disco period definitely a party scene pick up place period not a place for families or couples period one of my Biggfest complaint is that the pool closes at 8 p. M. since we had meetings and appointments while we were there it was impossible to make it back in time to use the pool the whole 5 days. All the hot tubs were broken. I complained we finally got one with Somewhat warm water and that was it . The other four hot tubs they just turned them off completely and drained them and there was at least an hour left of pool hours and lots of people who wanted to use the hot tubs. The couples only hot tubs for couples were completely off limits and broken. Food was un-impressive. Probably my biggest gripe was that they wouldn't answer their phone at the front desk. No matter what the problem was or even if you just needed to know where the ice machine was there was no one to answer the phone and when you went downstairs to ask they had a long line of people waiting for their questions as well. In addition the elevator is minuscule.... so small that you would definitely get claustrophobia in it. I've never seen an elevator this tiny like made for Barbiee! To make it worse it was the only elevator of the building there for the cleaning lady and her giant cart. If she was in the Elevator there was no room for people there was no service elevator for her to use. It was just a very frustrating and unpleasant visit and we didn't sleep at all all five nights way too hot in the room. They also do not have any fans just an fyi. I happen to be disabled but they blocked off the only handicap parking place so that we could not use it. We asked about it and they said it must be kept blocked off. Weird. also we've stayed in hotels in many different countries never had a problem logging into Wi-Fi but at this hotel we could never get Wi-Fi no matter what and when. We went downstairs to get help with it they said the Tech guy leaves at 1 p. M.... So he was gone for the weekend. Only positive thing I'd like to add is that they have very good orange juice fresh squeezed. In a very lovely concierge desk who is happy to help period

I clearly cannot see what others can with this hotel

Myself and my husband stayed here from the 26th May until the 2nd June 2018 and this is our feedback. Pros Spacious room Cleaned, fragranced smell throughout the hotel Close to Walmart/Market 28 (R2 bus) Fridge in room Iron/Ironing board in room Tea and coffee making facilities in room Large widescreen TV but with limited English channels unless you want to watch the news for a whole week Towels for the beach Cons Repairs began at the hotel on the 30th May 2018 and when questioned we were advised that this would continue for a month. Granted they did not start excessively early (7am) but I would still regard 9am early whilst on holiday. Noisy air conditioning system in the room which leaked outside onto the balcony Internet does not allow you to stream due to the limited data provided Not all the plugs worked in the room Mosquitoes present in the hotel and the area Too far away from everything Latest check out is 1pm otherwise there is a charge of 300 Pesos for a later stay. Stained bed lining- which I removed from the bed and place on the floor for a replacement Not all staff were friendly, and some looked straight through you on exiting or entering the building. Some also had limited English so explaining things proved difficult at times to some staff. No shower curtain in the bathroom so expect water on the floor I really cannot rank this hotel a 4* in comparison to what I have seen and entered along the hotel zone. This hotel is a 3* at the very least for the budget traveller which we are not. I stayed here based on the EXCELLENT reviews stating that the hotel was in a great location.......too WHAT. The only good thing that came out of staying here was the 2-day free pass provided by the hotel manager to enter the Oasis Grand due to the inconvenience of the sudden maintenance work that no one in the hotel was warned about. The Oasis Grand, however is also average for what I experienced over the two days. Unless you take the all-inclusive option for the Pyramid (Black band) which we had, otherwise it is really not worth it.
