Apple needs to Re-Evaluate this Hotel

This hotel is rated to high with apple. Apple needs to put in the descriptions about the Lite version of being minimal at best. You are bottom of the barrel if you are lite. We ended up with 2 twin beds pushed together and not a king. They stated since we were lite that we don't get a king. The ceiling had a water leak and we woke up to a wet floor our first night. The elevator button on the 1st floor was broke going up so you couldn't go up. One of the 2 elevators was out of service the first 2 days we were there. There are really no bars there to just walk up and get a drink and sit around. Most of the bars were the swim up bars. The food was good although being LITE we only had access to a few restaurants. The bar staff and food staff was great though. There really isn't much for entertainment and what little there is they want to charge for it. All other resorts we have visited seem to have nightly and daily entertainment included.

The place had multiple leaks, the staff was friendly, but the check in staff was very rude and lied to us about why they needed a copy of our passport. Instead of taking care of the leaks the staff would just put towels down and place wet floor signs.

Stay away from this hotel poor service, we were put in a building that was closed and under construction not what we asked for at all the water does not drain properly, the rooms are filthy,no hair dryer or iron they charge for wifi and the safe box from ur room and if something gets stolen because it's not in the safe box they are not responsible🤔Really 😡Not cool this hotel is the worst I have ever been to starting with the poor service at check in over 2 hrs to top that the rooms aren't even ready when they say and to get your key after check in it's another 60 min. You are on ur own for any problems because there in no manager u can talk to to solve ur problem I had the worst stay of my life NEVER W

Made reservations at Paraiso Maya, upon arrival we were upgraded to the Grand! Service was absolutely unbelievable!!!! Highly recommended

It was a great trip. Apple Vacations did a great job at providing us with everything we needed. the hotel and ocean was great also. definitely well worth the money and will do it again, as long as its with Apple Vacations.

No dressers in your rooms made living out my suitcase for 7 nights became extremely anoying. On the 2nd day the house keeping woman left the floor wet where I slipped and fell, and fingers on each hand are still swolen today. The food was terrible. 4 out of the 7 nights I left the resort for dinner. Including on my 50th birthday. I stated at check in that I was here for my 50th birthday, hoping for a time I'll never forget. Since I'll ony have one 50th birthday. I didn't remember I mentioned that until the day before I left I heard someone being sung happy birthday to at their hotel room doo on the morning of the 8th. How nice I thought, wish that could've been done for me 2 days ago on my birthday. The only thing I truly liked was the beach.

The problem with the Oasis Cancun Lite is that it seems to be the stepchild of the main hotel. Unfortunately the staff at one hotel didn't seem to know what the left hand was doing. For instance. When I asked where I could print my boarding passes at the Lite desk, they sent me to the main pyramid desk. When I got there the person at the desk basically said well you should have went to the concierge at Lite. Then he proceeded very sarcastically to say well you have 2 options--you can stay here and wait for others to get off the computers or you can go back to the concierge at Lite. When I asked hey why did they send me 1/4 mile here in the first place. He just looked at me and said well sir you have two options quite sarcastically. By the way gthe concierge at the Lite was not in the lobby area but somewhere down a long hallway at the end of a string of guest rooms-- really in the middle of nowhere and hard to find. I guess that was my firt clue that guest services were not a priority. To be fair the concierge was very helpful though--when you did find him. The maids and other staff seemed very nice and helpful. Upon checkout I was told to check out at the main desk at the pyramid because the Lite desk wouldn't be open at 5A.M.--again second class citizens I guess. When I checked out I was told that also airport pickup was also at the pyramid and not Lite lobbies. I protested that I'd already walked a quarter mile to the main lobby and had to walk 1/4 mile back again and I wasn't going to lug 3 suitcase another quarter mile back. I have a bad back and that just wasn't going to happen. Again if you stayed at the Cancun Lite area it seems you got second class service. I prevailed on the desk to tell the airport transport to pick me up at the Lite lobby. Many aspects of the hotel were very good but it was quite apparent that Oasis Cancun Lite was second fiddle yo the main hotel. It seemed like they were running two different classes of service and two different hotels. And one hotel didn't seem to know what the other was doing. In short I felt like I was a second class guest and would not stay at the hotel again.

The resort grounds are gorgeous and well maintained! But, we were placed in a wing where there were renovations going on, despite having made our reservation 3 months in advance. Despite many pleas the staff refused to move us to another building. We woke up and went to sleep with the sound of hammers and drills. This building also seemed to be where all of the large groups were housed - and most were 18-20 year olds. They partied outside our door until 4:00 a.m, screamed and ran up and down the halls. I was with my family for a Thanksgiving holiday and would've prefered being in a "family friendly" environment.

There was no water pressure in the shower. The room smelled like paint fumes from the repairs going on in the next room. The food wasn't very good. Staff was friendly, and the pool was great.

This hotel is the worst i will never recommend no one here, as you could see room is full of water. Jun 13 got to room after long day on the road , got to the room 12:30am , called front desk , they advised they were going to send some one never did. Woke up next morning talked to Private concierge on the 5th floor on my building 3341-s .. they said they were going to report again, and come back from the road 8pm jun 14 and this room is still full of water. THE CUSTUMER SERVICE is the worst. No one help here. They only say i will report. If u book here prepare to experience the worst.

Where do I begin..DO NOT STAY HERE! Prepare for the essay, I never usually bother with reviews & think some people on here can just be too fussy but everything you read about this hotel is true, I am still here and already writing this. Completely ruined our holiday, thomas cook should be ashamed to be selling this on there website, it is nothing like it looks or says on the internet & would rather have paid that kind of money to go somewhere like magaluf about 4 times instead. Its a joke from the moment we arrived after a very long journey we had to wait another hour at least just to check in! Hardly anyone in the queue just the staff taking all day to do every little task. Then when we finally found our room we were greated with the scruffiest mirror you've ever seen (the maids never cleaned this so after a few days I was fed up & did it myself!), mouldy/dirty walls etc & the balcony door would not open. So off we went back down to report the door, twice! Very unhelpful, got told maintainance would come & sort it, they never came. Thankfully the next day we told our rep & he sorted it for us. We planned to upgrade our room but was told there was nothing available but glad we didn't as we met someone else who was in the pyramid & had lots to complain about too including the toilet not working, also overheard someone else during our stay report her roof was leaking. Anyway, we thought things can only get better surely, so we went to get food, how wrong were we, queues all the time, you can be waiting around an hour for a table to find when you actually go in & get seated there are loads of tables free??? I do not understand this at all. I feel like i have been waiting & queueing the whole holiday. Then you have waited all that time for awful food, not many options & all inclusive does not mean all inclusive here, some of the restaurants you cannot use and half restaurants/bars are closed when they should be open - what are we paying for? Bread everyone has to touch it to cut your own - very unhygenic, and breakfast flys & ants all over the crossants! Half the stuff i would not class as edible. Queues for drinks, served warm cola out of a bottle that has probably been stood on the side for days. I went in to the bar whilst waiting for food as I was dying from the heat & got ingored by all the staff. Some staff are friendly but most you can tell don't want to be here & I'm not surprised, feel like I'v been here forever & we just want to go home to be honest. On to the next thing, they call themselves the grand master of entertainment, absolute rubbish, a few dancers/singers but the same thing every night & finished just as you thought it was beginning (early) (also smelt sewerage whilst watching!) Only place to go is cayote loco which is ok but more like a club (also flooded one night 👍) No bars you can just sit out relax & have a drink, very boring ended up back in the room most nights. Drank beer all the time as was the only thing that was cold & any mixer drinks were mixed with flat pop/juice. We paid to watch the circus that was ok, but wouldn't do it again. Get woken up at night as you can hear everything outside the rooms. One good thing the outside beach & pool is nice but then again they make it difficult for you to get down to the beach, one entrance & difficult to find. Its raining at the minute & we came back to the room to find a huge leak, we're not surprised at all at this point, drenched towels all over the floor. There isn't much good I can say about this hotel, it should be closed down or even better knocked down, you couldn't even pay me to stay here again, the best bit will be going home which is very disappointing considering how long we waited & saved for this expecting paradise. It wasn't a relaxing holiday at all for us. All I will say is the day trips in Cancun are great dolphins, mayan ruins etc. & Coco bongos was our best night. If you got to the end of this well done 😂 like most people are saying worst place i have ever stayed, could go on forever about this awful experience but it won't get anyone anywhere as they keep replying to these reviews saying they will look into it & fix it but we all know that isn't going to happen so believe me do not waste your time and money going here & grand oasis as someone else said don't bother apologising unless you intend to give us a refund.

I just came back from this horrible hotel!!! First of all the staff is always rude and unwelcoming, they told us we can check in at 11:00 but had us wait until 3:00pm.. during the checkin/check out the lines were long with 2 people working the front desk, when they saw that we were a large party THE FRONT DESK EMPLOYEES would Just leave to hide in the back without telling Us anything... When we arrived to the room to shower THE WATER WAS COMING OUT OF THE SHOWER YELLOW!!!! The Room had a nasty lingering smell and my Aunt's bed had a yellow stain on the sheets.... Some of the food was nasty, and the drinks were terrible- watered down with cheap alcohol... during the day when we wanted to nap, we heard hammering and banging (of both kinds)!!!! When my family and I checked out I was fed up to the point that I yelled at the front desk workers and expressed how horrible the services were!!! OASIS MANAGEMENT- Don't bother writing an Apology unless you're gonna refund me 100% of my cost!!!!! Horrible services they should not even be a part of Expedia!!!!!!

PARTY HOTEL- not a kid hotel at all. Went there with my 15 yr old and 11 yr old daugther's. Not a place for kids. There's pole dancing in the Beach Club area. There is no convenient access to the beach you have to walk the length of the property before you can find a way down to the beach, it's ridiculous. Be careful what you paid for because we thought it was all inclusive but it was not, our bracelets let us into half the restaurants and coffee shops. No security safe included in room. No wifi included. Were woken at 5am by our neighbors having a big ole domestic dispute, which got the guy kicked out and he proceeded to the lawn in front of our balcony where he continued to swear at his girlfriend. Then the next night the drunk guy from next door banged on our door to get into his hotel and proceeded to pee in front of our door and finally his girlfriend let him in. This all happened at 3am. We had called security but they didn't come. We went down to the front desk to complain and they said there was nothing they could do for us as they were an entertainment hotel, they did say they would try and get us into the Oasis Palm a sister hotel the next day which was a family hotel we were told to be there by 11am in the morning for the transfer. We went back to our hotel room only to be woken a couple hours later by a group of girls chanting some cheer leading chant down the hallways. Then some guy at about 5am decided to call for his friend Eric at the door way of our hotel and it echoed throughout the whole building. The next day we packed everything up and went to the front desk as we were told to and they told us there was no other rooms for us in the Oasis Palm, there was nothing they could do to accommodate us. That night was supposed to be a party all night event so we ended up leaving a day early as we couldn't afford another sleepless night. It was the worst travel experience I've ever had at a hotel. Would never stay there again nor any of the Oasis hotels in Cancun.

It’s only our second day here and we asked for one large bed and got a room with two bed instead. The ac doesn’t work and when it rains all the floor of our room would be convered by 2 inches of water. We when to the front desk who sent us to the concierge and it was honestly the worst service ever, they don’t care and they were laughing at us. Don’t go see frank at the concierge he was realy arogant
