Absolutely incredible service. Beautiful grounds!

The grounds of this hotel are absolutely beautiful! The pool is very inviting, beautifully kept at all times and the swim up bar is great! Pool side food during the day, great restaurants, entertainment during the day, you name it, they've got it! I had an unfortunate accident that was completely my fault and ended up breaking 3 bones in my right foot and one in my left. The staff was SO attentive and helpful, it's hard to give them enough thanks in words. Edgar, Sergio and Marcos who all worked in the dining rooms and by the pool were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to wrap my foot with ice, bandages, etc. They even laid out their own money while in town after work just to bring me back anti inflammatory cream! I of course paid him back and took care of him for the gesture but he really didn't have to do that! My poor wife had to push me around in a wheel chair all weekend and I'm certainly not a small guy! That being said, any staff member we'd pass would stop immediately to offer help wheeling me. All in all the property is gorgeous, the staff is beyond words incredible and I can't thank you all enough from the bottom of my heart for the hospitality! Edgar, Sergio and Marcos.... THANK YOU!!! I appreciate you more than you know! -El Colombiano calbo em silla de ruedas. Gracias!!!

Our travel agent suggested this amongst many other places. We chose it a little blindly & hoped for the best. We ended up absolutely loving it!!! The place was extremely clean & each staff member we encountered regardless of their department was so friendly and accommodating. The food was great. The buffet was changed out frequently, even if the food was untouched. The beach & pool were excellent. My only complaint is that we had to wait a bit for our room to be ready since we took a somewhat early flight in. We're planning on coming back soon with our friends!

What a week!

My girlfriend and I came to the now saphire riviera after she spent a long time researching where in the area got the best reviews for the best price. When I say area, she pretty much scoured all of the hotels around the Caribbean! We got a good deal, booked it and off we went. It was a week in paradise, from start to finish. We were only given the opportunity to book 'preferred' so didn't really know any different and how much of a difference in price it would be and therefore if worth it, but as we had it, when we arrived at the hotel, after about a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport, we were taken into the lounge to check in, offered cocktails and given the information about the hotel. Once checked in, we were taken by golf cart to our room. The hotel is pretty spread out, with the main pool, restaurants, bar, lobby, desks etc all in the central area. The accommodation blocks are spread down the sea front, some facing, some 'tropical view'. When I say spread out, it is spaced out nicely, but doesn't feel like you have to walk a marathon to get to where the action is happening. Our room was beautiful, large and fully equipped, with a free mini bar which was restocked on a daily basis, as our room was cleaned and tidied daily and then also had our beds folded back later in the day, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was spacious and clean, with all the bathing accessories/razor/most things you'd need. (Although my girlfriend did find that she needed to buy some separate conditioner as the supplied combined shampoo and conditioner wasn't too great.) Our room had a tropical view, which basically looked back onto the walkway that leads to the accommodation blocks, but the block is set back and there are loads of trees planted out front, so even though it's not a huge area, you feel like you are looking out onto the jungle and this also gives you privacy. The main pool is awesome, it's beautifully landscaped and is so big it has the luxury of having different areas around the same pool-some beds further away are pretty quiet and chilled, we noticed there are areas where families with kids tended to stick to, and then there is the semi submerged beds to lounge on. And last but not least the fully stocked swim up bar which was nice and lively and did great cocktails. It really felt like you had the best of both worlds around the main pool- you can chill out and read a book, and also enjoy your all inclusive drinks and get involved with the games in the pool. Generally, the music played around the pool isn't too loud to be over bearing apart from occasions when games were going on. The games and activities in the pool which are run by the entertainment staff were great, just good old fashioned fun. And the staff encouraged you to get involved but were never pushy. The food we found to be awesome. We were there for a week so ate in all of the restaurants at least once, eating in the steak grill twice as we both love our steaks! The buffet was well stocked and the food of good quality. We ate breakfast every day but one here. Be sure to try out the omelette station, that was a favorite of mine. And also try a 'ojo rojo', basically a Bloody Mary with beer instead of vodka-sounds strange but was sooo good-especially after a few drinks the night before! Our second night we went to the European restaurant, which was great, we'd heard the portions weren't huge, which was true but once you'd eaten your 3 courses I was suitably satisfied. We had also read that there was always a long wait to get into the restaurants, again which was true, but they give you a buzzer and you can go have a drink anywhere in the restaurant until there was a table for you. We never waited more than a half hour. Next was the French restaurant which you have to wear long pants for, I probably had my best meal in here, the shrimps were so good! The Mexican restaurant was probably our least favorite but we still enjoyed it a lot which says how nice they all are! Our penultimate night was spent in the Asian restaurant where we had booked the tepenyaki grill which was great fun. The food was nice and the guy put on a good show, very similar to a Benihana if you've been to one of those. After eating, we would go to the hotel entertainment, which was either inside the small arena, or outside around the pool. Whilst we were there, there was a dance show, a juggler, a comedian, magic acts, a fire show, and a Mexican act. They were all again, just good light hearted fun and a good end to the night. After the entertainment, we were encouraged to go to the hotel nightclub for dancing, karaoke or on one night-casino night, where they give you some fake money to gamble with which can then be used to auction some prizes at the end of the night. We really enjoyed this. The entertainment staff are so good in this place. Particularly Dylan and Louis. They remembered our names after chatting to us once-how they do this with a thousand or so guests at any one time is beyond me. Also one of the guys around the pool was great and a really nice guy, I didn't catch his name. All the staff are friendly and make an effort to say hi which is so nice compared to some hotels we've been to where you don't get this. This small gesture makes a huge difference. The only niggling tiny little faults I could find-which were of no detriment to our week what-so-ever, would be that the water from the shower didn't get hot-hot; it was well warm enough to bathe in but if you wanted a HOT shower or a bath it wasn't up to that. But after spending the day in the blazing hot sun, it's doubtful you'd want a hot shower anyway!! The sea weed on the beach was a bit of a shame too. On some days it was fine but I think when there was a bit of a swell, that particular area of coastline gets a lot of seaweed swept in. The hotel employs staff who tirelessly sweep up and collect the sea weed, they really couldn't do any more than they do, and again this is only a minor issue-i don't care about a bit of sea weed but I know some people do in the search for pristine clear blue water! And the pool is so awesome that we would have spent or week around there anyway!! We stumbled across the beach volleyball that they play twice a day, and ended up having a great time and playing every day. It was a great way to meet people and get chatting and then carry on socializing with throughout the rest of our trip. The people staying at the hotel were all really nice, everyone there just to have a good time. It was the little things that really made the week extra special, like a couple of times they would bring around fruit on a kayak in the pool, and at the side of the pool they'd open up coconuts and you could drink them, even with a little liquor poured in. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone going, and will definitely be back at the earliest opportunity!

I absolutely enjoyed our stay at Now Sapphire. It was well worth the upgrade to ocean view. We even joined the unlimited vacation club. We never had a bad meal at any of the restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Special mention to Aurora the server at poolside and Fernando at the beach bar. We will be back someday for a stay. For those reading, get to the pool early in the a.m. to save a seat.

I got married here and spent my honeymoon here. We had about 28 guests stay here for the wedding. We all LOVED this resort. The staff was SO kind and friendly. Smiles everywhere you went. They are so personable and really make you feel at home. I can't say enough good things about this place. We will truly miss it. During our stay we made note of the staff that really went above and beyond and did an amazing job at spreading smiles where ever they went so a special thanks to: The entertainment staff, especially Dylan and Louis Cristell, a waitress for the sandbar Victor, a waiter at Market Cafe Juan, a waiter at the main pool Alberto, a waiter at Lemon grass Chef Benedicto, the chef for Lemon grass Juan, the wedding coordinator Enrique, the manager at Lemon grass Thank you ❤️ you all truly made our trip extra special 😊
