The Apple Representative was none existent. When tried to contact by phone for my return transfer. Could not reach. Asked the help of the concierge, he could not reach the representative either. Gave up and secured my own transfer back to the airport. Very Frustrated.

Hotel was next to excellent but not quite there, personnel was courteous and helpful but some times annoying trying to sell you tours and ventures. food in the hotel was expensive up to 4 times than other places 35 American dollars for breakfast per person, give me a break. I was able to find breakfast for $35.00 pesos per person just a few blocks away, bottle water for $50.00 pesos call me cheaply but out side was $3.50 pesos. Had to pay for everything, TV, coffee, water etc. Rates were reasonable through Apple vacations.

Marriott Casa Magna takes such pride in every aspect of their property. You can tell they take very good care of their staff because everyone loves their job and are happy to work there and this translates into the guests being very well taken care of!

we loved it all... the hotel a bit behind in maintainance but they are 'at it'. we watched the hotel crew trim a 40 ft palm tree..gutsy activity that may have been put off by other chains. lots to do inside and outside the hotel.. they also kept beach vendors at a distance, a relief. surprisingly good bagels inhouse and the beer was cold..good sign...might be renamed the 'casa-corona' jhw 1-12

My wife and I have stayed here a number of times, and will return. Great location, nice pool, friendly staff. My only complaint is the prices - $10 US for a margarita at the pool - really? In Mexico? We go to the marina or El Centro for most meals, if the prices were close to reasonable we'd stay.

We stopped in for a quick 3 night stay after booking this vacation just a week prior. We normally stay at 5 star AI resorts, so we weren't expecting much. However, we were very pleasantly surprised. I'll give you a quick break down: Pool: We were very happy w/ the pool. It was large, a comfortable temperature and had plenty of chairs and a nice water fall and views. Food: We didn't eat at any of the restaurants; we opted for room service every night. Overall, it was excellent. Beach: I thought the beach was awesome, the vendors were a little bothersome but not they left you alone after one "no thanks". Location: The location was pretty good, I thought it was a little too hot to walk to the shops etc., which would have taken about 15 minutes. But, it was just 3 o 4 bucks for an UBER. (There were a ton of UBERS in PVZ) ROOM: It was just my wife and I in an ocean view suite. It was fresh, updated, w/ a nice bath, walk in shower, and comfy bed. Top Notch for a Marriott *My ADD is kicking in, but if you have any questions, feel free to message me. Cheers,

My stay at the Marriott was filled with excitement and respectable staff. Diego made my stay at the Marriot entertaining! When ever we needed information or help he was the guy to go to. He gave us good places to eat and visit. If you stay at the Marriot go and see Diego. You can’t miss him because he works right at the valet. He’s so great, I’m not surprised he’s the supervisor. - New York Son

Worst hotel stay ever Marriott Puerto Vallarta 2018

I recently stayed at the Marriott Puerto Vallarta for my 10 year wedding anniversary and have never experienced this before but they are doing jackhammering right next to the room I am staying in. This is so loud that I can't even here my wife talking to me 3 feet away. I've gone down to the front desk and showed them this video and how bad this noise is in my room and every time I ask them to move me to another room they say "no". It is August their slowest time of year and when I asked them when I checked in if they are really busy they stated "no its our off season". I can see that there are plenty of rooms that are vacant yet they will not move me to a different room. This noise starts at 9am to 7pm, thats right 10 hours a day for a hotel I paid good money to stay at. This is just simple accountability, if a company is in the hotel business, don't reserve your rooms that have this bad of noise going on. I, like everyone else, came to Puerto Vallarta Marriott to relax and enjoy a much need quit time but paid money to get this. At the end of my trip nothing was done to justify what had happen, oh wait, the checkout clerk did inform me that they gave me a $50 credit to use at the Marriott, which I didn't not use because I was checking out. All I wanted is to be moved to another room where that noise was not so bad, thats all. If you youtube "Marriott Puerto Vallarta 2018 worst hotel stay ever" You will see a video of every day how bad it was.

We’re getting married in Puerto Vallarta in March and came to look at our venue, hotels for our guests, brunch reception places and just iron out the details. The Marriott was top of our list for hotels and from the moment we arrived we were disappointed. The hotel is weathered, the pool area dirty and the event planner completely rude and unhelpful. We met with the planner our first day and it was like pulling teeth to get the information we were looking for. We requested a tour of the rooms and the grounds and were denied. It became such a painful conversation that we ended it in the middle and decided to cut our losses. WE DECIDED TO GO TO THE WESTIN AND WERE GREETED WARMLY. WE WILL BE BRINGING OUR GROUP OF 150 GUESTS THERE. The paint around the hotel looks old, we were served warm beer and flat champagne, no one picks up the towels or trash around the pool when people leave and we found spilled milkshakes around our umbrella and gum on our menu and other people’s towels thrown around our chairs (see picture). Our favorite was the family of 6 we found sleeping in the lobby one morning. This place is a 1 or 2 start hotel for anyone who knows what they’re taking about, disguised as a 4 star hotel in the reviews. No idea how they made that happen but if you’re looking for a top notch experience, this is not your place. Try the Westin.

First time to Puerto Vallarta. Have been to all the other locations in Mexico and this might suit us the best-partly because of the Marriott Hotel and the staff. Granted, my husband is lifetime platinum with Marriott, so we get treated well at all Marriotts- these guys took it to the next level. We sat at the pool every day, in a cabana, and we had Raul as our server every day. The man is awesome- he never let out drinks get low! Ha ha! The staff in La Casitas, where we had breakfast every morning, was attentive and always willing to answer questions about local things to do. Eduardo and Edgar were rockstars. Visited La Casita for several adult beverages in the early evening as well- You have got to ask for the margarita with Serrano peppers- be warned, the longer it sits, the hotter/spicier it gets! Lobby ceviche/tequila bar is awesome as well! The only slight downside to our visit was the construction sounds during the day- but in full disclosure we knew that going in! Luckily there were lots of waves to drown out the air compressors!
