Amazing destination

We loved the resort. By far the best beach on the island with plenty of room to spread out. This is a small resort with no karaoke or blaring music late at night like some of the other resorts. The rooms are comfortable and the food was fantastic. We ate most dinners at Ike's Bistro the dishes are unique with a presentation to match. The staff at the restaurants, bar and hotel are warm and you cant help but be yourself and be comfortable. We cannot wait to go back.

Excellent location for romance, quiet uncrowded and beautiful beach. Above average level of service and friendliness of staff, rooms are updated and modern but are small and typical of older hotel/motel. We paid an extra $200/nite for Ocean view, a waste of money-it's only a partial because of the layout.

Just booked our vacation for 2018! Vivian Frank should win an award!!!

So I know it’s not customary to review something before you have done it but I have been to this resort before with equally great service. So I went to book our vacation for next winter and had no question where we were going. Manchebo might be my favorite place on the planet. Anyway I booked my room and found out I was not in a good room for our needs. So I called today fully expecting them to say "sorry sir but there isn't anything we can do" and by the way they could have said that and I would have been ok with it because I want to go there so bad. But.... That is not how this resort is A very special woman named Vivian Frank (who was extremely busy) took my call. She was so nice and so accommodating. She went so far above and beyond for me to make sure I was happy I cannot thank her enough. Bottom line our vacation is now perfect and I really hope everyone reading this stays with Manchebo and if you see Vivian Frank buy her a drink!!!! Love you Manchebo and Vivian.

Family Vacation

We booked an all-inclusive vacation for 15 family members (ages 4-79). Our initial point of contact was Tamara who is the Guest Relations Manager. She went over and above to assist us with our planning. She helped arrange excursions, made dinner reservations (both on and off site), help with transportation and pretty much helped with anything we needed. She was extremely responsive both in the planning and then once we arrived. She greeted us as we walked through the door and was helpful until the minute we left. The food was excellent. We ate dinner at Ike's twice and in the Chophouse twice. Both were good - order seafood when you eat at Ike's and order steak and/or sushi when you eat at the Chophouse. Breakfast was great and included home made pastries, an omlette station, a huge selection of smoothies, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurts and other options. Lunch is served outside by the pool and beach. There was a good selection so you can try different things. The salads and sandwiches were very good. The beach is perfect - beautiful white sand with gentle waves and blue, blue ocean. The beach faces west so it gets the sunset everyday. The location is also good. Right across from a casino, with an outdoor mall (10 or so shops including a convenience store). Not much nightlife, but that is a 10 minute cab ride ($9) north. More shops and town are about a ten minute cab ride south. However, the people were the best. They were friendly, honest, approachable and genuine. Carolina, our favorite bartender, is the best. We loved spending time at the outside bar with her - having a few cocktails while she tried to accommodate all of our music requests. Too much fun! We will miss her. Laura, one of the hostesses, was wonderful as well. She knew we had a big group and was great at getting us a table so we could all come and go and sit together. They even moved us out to our own little deck area for our dinner the last night. The housekeeping staff was great as well. Rooms were made up impeccably each day and they worked around your schedule so as to not interfere with you when you needed to be in the room. The rooms were very nice and were all clean. There was always someone at the front desk and they were always willing to listen and help with whatever you needed. I can't say enough about how much we loved this place and how it was the perfect fit for our family. Would be great for couples as well. Maybe not the best place for the party crowd unless, like us, you can make your own. If anyone has questions, please ask.

I first went there in 1995 because it was next to a Timeshare Resort I knew people at (Casa Del Mar). It's got the LARGEST BEACH on the Island. (It's also where the "Local Girls/Women", it's a Dutch Island, do there TOPLESS Sunbathing !! My Favorite Bloody Mary location.

I love this place. I have stayed at 5 different places in Aruba over the years. This is my place. I have returned here more than 20 times. You can wake up at noon and still get a tiki hut on their HUGE and beautiful beach. The staff here are always friendly and helpful.Did I mention that I love this place?

We spent 3 1/2 days at the Wonderful Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa, From sunrise till the beautiful sunset, this was a fabulous experience. First, the room (garden view) and grounds of the Manchebo are spectacurlary clean. The buffet for breakfast..top of the line. Chef Alex and Carmen were super. Relaxation at the # 1 beach in the world was great with the most pleasant employees (Alejandra and Joseul) helping you with beach lounges and what ever refreshment you would like, making the beach even more enjoyable. And the gormet Dinner at Ikes Bistro ( loved the Chilian Sea Bass) was 5Star! FluaLibia was our waitress and she was THE BEST! Will we go back to the Manchebo?.....ABSOLUTELY! Thank You to all the employees who made our stay So Tremendous!
