What a great place to relax. If you are hunting for excitement this is not the place for you. Best beach on the island. Many older couples.

Amazing destination

We loved the resort. By far the best beach on the island with plenty of room to spread out. This is a small resort with no karaoke or blaring music late at night like some of the other resorts. The rooms are comfortable and the food was fantastic. We ate most dinners at Ike's Bistro the dishes are unique with a presentation to match. The staff at the restaurants, bar and hotel are warm and you cant help but be yourself and be comfortable. We cannot wait to go back.

Manchebo Beach

Excellent location for romance, quiet uncrowded and beautiful beach. Above average level of service and friendliness of staff, rooms are updated and modern but are small and typical of older hotel/motel. We paid an extra $200/nite for Ocean view, a waste of money-it's only a partial because of the layout.

The hotel is excellent.

Just returned from our third visit to Manchebo. The beach is not only wide as many guests have mentioned it is also very long and with about 72 units at the hotel the palapas are spaced out giving guests plenty of room.Nice plastic coolers now placed in room for beach use. Plenty of free ice available. Washers and dryers available through out the complex.Best beach towels ever, Aruba is windy, these towels have pouches at one end to slide over lounge chair to prevent blowing away. Plenty of beach towels available and drying towels. Just pick them up at the bar and return, honor system. Room has refrigerator, micro wave, safe, Large ironing board, and really good coffee. This place just has all the conveniences you would want and need for a relaxing holiday.I will probably be back next year.

Wonderful trip!

My husband and I decided to do a long weekend to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We loved the resort, staff and country of Aruba. Manchebo was exactly we were looking for. Small, all inclusive and perfect beach view from our room. The food was delicious and our favorite restaurant on site was The upscale sushi place. We met,Jason, our waiter for the evening who was amazing! I think this is place is perfect for a quick getaway! Would highly recommend and definitely plan on going back again.

We'll definitely come back!

Manchebo is a fantastic low-rise hotel!! It keeps the feel of being on an island intact vs. the high-rise area. The rooms are nice and clean and walk straight out to the widest beach on the island. The staff is super friendly and they have thought of every small detail to make your stay welcoming and enjoyable (coolers to take onto beach, lavender mist to spray on your pillow, beach service, welcome drinks when you arrive, etc.). We only ate at Pega Pega at the hotel which is their lunch option/beach service and it was great food to have around the pool/beach- nice serving sizes, tasty, etc. This is truly a superb hotel and I cannot wait to go back!

They made this place even MORE amazing!

I am writing this review while sitting on my balcony of the Manchebo beach resort. I have been here just over 24 hours and I could not wait until the trip was over to write about how great this place is. This is my 4th visit here and the previous 3 visits were fantastic but they have managed to up their game this year. The improvements are noticeable and appreciated. A new beautiful pool area, new beach chairs (and these great chair towels that cover the whole chair, hook over the back to stay put and are nice and long and comfy) and new larger coolers in the room for guests to take to the beach (a nice little touch). I’m sure that there are more improvements I have yet to discover but these little touches made a big impact and really improved and already near perfect place. The rooms are fantastic. The beach is the best in Aruba. The staff is still amazing.....many familiar names and faces we have become accustomed to seeing over the last 5 years and some new ones too. We already love Carolina at the Pega Pega. And its great to have Josuel again on the beach getting us our chairs and towels with his happy energy. This my favorite place to visit. My happy place. I love that it’s being taken such great care of. We hope to be here many many more visits. I’m off to make the most of this one!!!

Very nice resort. Definitely an older crowd here as well but we didn’t mind at all. We loved that we never had to wait for anything because it is a smaller resort. There were always plenty of spots by the beach which is a major plus!!! We will be staying at a couple other resorts in Aruba in the high rise district but we are glad we made this our first stop as it was very relaxing. If you want to go to the strip with all the bars, clubs, restaurants etc it is only a short 5-10 minute taxi ride away. The food is very good as well and the beach is amazing!! We would most definitely go back!! We had a ocean front room on the first floor and it was a great view but the best views are from the 2nd floor ocean front rooms.
