The golf course is a beauty and well maintained with some challenging shots. The estuaries, bird life, mountain and sea net unique scenery! Good ethnic food at the club house and the rates are very reasonable. The Sea of Cortez is steps away. More>

Quiet & Relaxing - Safe Beach - Clean Resort

We spent two weeks at this resort at the end of February 2016 and found the following. 1) Staff & service - excellent and friendly. Mucho Gracias! 2) We stayed in a Junior Suite room & found it was spacious and clean with a good view of the grounds and the ocean. Mini-bar restocked every day. 3) We opted for the Breakfast Plan - Sorry to say, the food selection and quality could have been better. Would have liked to see fresh fruit, muffins, bacon, sausages each day. 4) Beach - could use more Palapas and the tables by the Palapas repaired in some cases. Very quiet and relaxing. We were advised that "residents" in the area were allowed beach & pool privileges providing the partook of food & beverage service while visiting. Unfortunately we saw some folks arrive each day from along the beach and commander a Palapa without doing either. The beach is very safe and did not notice any undertow. Most days water was extremely calm, Hardly a ripple. Occasionally a windy day will happen. Only once during our 2 week stay. 5) Restaurants; There are 5 restaurants in the area within 5-15 minutes walking distance. 6) Money: Bring $MXN to avoid 10-12% conversion rate at the restaurants. Really surprised by hotel..... Best sleep of our trip!

We normally stay at Le Mission in Loreto. We needed secure parking on this trip and the hotel said that their parking was very secure. It was guarded and gated with lots of room for our truck and car hauler. The check-in was a little disorganized. The staff was very friendly while they tried to find our reservation. The hotel grounds are a real contrast to the hotels in Loreto. Wide open spaces going down to the beach. The room was from an earlier design period with updates. The sleeping was great. The hotel was very quiet and the bed comfortable. More>

A Nice and Good Place to stay in Loreto

It has been several years since our last stay at this hotel. We have stayed at this hotel from time to time, since it was built as the Sheraton, then El Presidente and Inn at Loreto Bay. I must say that the hotel looks as nice as it has ever been from the beginning. The staff were very friendly. the rooms are clean and offer nice ocean view. The food is OK. The buffet dinner has room for improvement. Complimentary breakfast comes with the room. The beaches are OK, but when the wind blows from the north. The water gets rather murky. Several golf holes around the hotel look very nice. I would like to come back and try them out. More>

I was refer to different hotels in the area that are in the town of Loreto. Loreto bay resort is about a 10 minutes drive from the town and about a 45 minute drive to San Javier. For the money is the best place to stay in the area of Loreto. Your stay includes a couple of free activities, you got kayaks, paddle borders, bicycles, and snorkel gear.Rooms are clean and spacious. The food is delicious and if you go in April kids under 11 eat free, big plus. There is also a bunch of villas around the resort, there is a small coffe shop El Corazon, also delicious. Last day there was hard to leave specially for the kids. We met the GM of the place the last day too, Rene Huitron. Great person super nice and to top it of he gives a parting gift which will never forget. Thanks again for the great experience we had and for the machaca. More>
