We were competing in a off road race that stoped for the night in town. It was very late by the time we arrived at the hotel. Security at the gate and all around the grounds. Roon was clean and well taken care of shower was fantastic, especially after 3 days without one. The only problem was we reserved a room with two beds and they only had a king room.

We signed up for a snorkeling trip that took off from the beach at Villa del Palmar. We were told that we would be a very small group of 3 people and that Ramses would be our guide. Ramses was professional, kind, humorous and extremely knowledgeable about the terrain, the sea creatures, the islands of Loreto and the best spots to snorkel. He kept safety in mind and seemed to always be thinking of what would be interesting to us. He is a naturalist and very informed. Great host.

Are you tired of the hustle & bustle that is "City Life" come and enjoy the peace & tranquillity that is Loreto Bay. We stayed in this wonderful fully furnished 3 bedroom home. The second floor has a it's own bedroom & bath, a outdoor patio & Gas Grill. I'm not much into astronomy but you can't deny the beauty & Romance of looking up at a star lit night. They have an outdoor bed on a 3rd floor level with privacy curtains and ceiling fan. This home is just a few steps from a small community pool, and walking distance to a Golf course and the beautiful beach. There are several boutiques, restaurants mini marts and even a wine cellar among the businesses that are in the community.Ā  Comfortably sleeps 10 people with a fold out couch in the living room and a roll out hide a bed in one of the downstairs bedrooms. Ā " On behalf of theĀ  Luna/Alarcon couple we just wanted to thank you for your hospitality in allowing us to stay in your beautiful home" we will definitely let our friends and family know how nice it is and hopefully drum up more business for you in the future.

A nice and relaxing resort that's different from Cancun or Cabo resorts

Pros: - Very quiet resort with a beautiful golf course - Oceanview rooms - Friendly staff - Free activity equipment rental - Nice rooms (when they don't have issues) - Prices Cons: - Our room had a flooding issue 3x times - Restaurant staff was not very attentive - The sand is hot, but just wear sandals :P - Mixed Drinks were only OK My wife and I recently visited Loreto Bay Golf Resort and Spa for a long weekend. We flew into Loreto directly and went straight to the hotel. Once we got there we were greeted with the friendly front desk staff. We checked into our rooms quickly without any hassle and let our vacation begin. This place is not like other resorts that I have stayed at in Mexico as it was very laid back and low key. The downside to that is that you won't see beach service waiters coming by but the bar is just a quick walk away. The only real issues we had were the rooms and the restaurant service. Our first room we checked into flooded and they sent maintenance. He said he fixed it but it happened 2 more times at which point we requested a room change. Thankfully, they upgraded us which was great customer service. The only other issue we had was that service at the restaurant was very slow. If you wanted a drink refill or a check you really had to focus on waving them down. It was rare that they would come on their own. Other than these issues the room was nice and the beach was great too. They have little palapas set out on the beach with chairs and it's a relaxing place to spend a weekend. They also had a nice pool with a swim up bar, but it is a lot smaller pool than typical resorts.

Very Quiet, relaxing place.

Had an ocean view Jr Suite. Room was nice. Great view. Pool was full of kids but didnt bother us at all. The Palapa's at the sea were large and always available. Breakfast buffet was ok. Snacks and drinks and the swim up bar were good and the prices cant be beat. Sand is more like gravel and very, very hot. (but that's what flip flops are for!). Lots of kayaks to borrow. They do have 2 stand up paddle boards to borrow. They also have several to rent if you dont want to wait. Lots of pelicans diving for fish. Great entertainment watching them. We didnt golf but saw the course and its really pretty.
