Great golf, inexpensive, warm caring locals, beautiful rentals at a great price. No pan handlers and great bars with good food everywhere. Lots of Canadian and American folks, good size town, easy to get around and explore.

Quite hotel just a bit out of town

Very good hotel with friendly staff. Located about 5 miles outside the town of Loreto in a mini village consisting of lots of retired Americans and Canadians. The hotel is located on the beach with kayaking, swimming and snorkelling avalible. We had a very good time there although it was uncomfortablely windy when we were there.

The people at Loreto Golf Resort & Spa are most accommodating, friendly and helpful.

We truly enjoyed our 2 weeks at the resort. The area was what we were expecting and looking for - relaxed, laid back and the perfect touch of small town Mexico. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated and always clean. The pool area just off the ocean was most relaxing and the food and drinks were great. The food at the restaurants in the Resort were good. There are other restaurants nearby for variety. The resort could get a P.O.S. system to streamline the food and drink orders. The golf course was most challenging and fun - sand traps need some sand but I wasn't in them anyway. We will definitely return.

We arrived and were welcomed by desk staff. The desk staff didnt tell us about the ice, or the fridge deposit that was required, so two trips to the desk for those. The rooms were clean, although a bit moldy. It is winter so I dont know if that is just the way it is or if something could be done about that. I thought 200pesos was too much for breakfast and our group headed elsewhere. As retirees, we generally do not eat that much for breakfast. It would have been nice if the staff were informed on what entertainment in Nopolo was happening in the evening.

Golfer's bucket list. This review is only for golfers of any level. Why waste time on crowded golf courses? Play any time you want...no waiting. Just watch the weather report, compare it to your other wonderful options in this town and on this beach, and play when it works for you. Every hole is memorable. Most have ocean or inland water! Rent clubs. Rent a cart or not. Grass driving range for $5. Have fun, relax. PS They invited me to the "Friendlies & Employees Scramble" hosted 6 to 12 time a year. Put in plenty of peseos; Perfect. I won dinner for 2 in town!
