Apple sold us a hotel flight package that was poorly researched

The hotel was closed upon arrival under heavy construction. Shipped to lower class hotel that was not what we paid for. Apple representatives were less than helpful. Returned to LeBlanc second day of vacation to loud construction, dust everywhere, poor service, and holes in the ceilings from water damage. Food menu had changed, LeBlanc has gone done a few notches. Pool was closed under construction, spa was not totally operating, not all restaurants had food listed on the menu, and what they did have was not good. We did not pay 5k for poor service, poor food, and a hotel under construction. This should have been postponed by Apple in advance, we were told the hotel was operating and fully open prior to our departure. We want a refund!!!

We have been to a number of resorts in the Cancun and Riveria Maya area and this hotel tops every one of them. There is not one single thing that we could have experienced to make this trip more perfect. When you walk into this hotel, the immediate vibe is that you are in a truly special place. They treat you like royalty anfpd they think of everything so you don't have to. Our every need as far as services were met and even needs that we didn't think that we had . An example would be their turndown service. When you return to your room for the evening, the staff has your room properly lit, the aroma of your choice fills the air, the tv is turned to a soft music with a relaxing visual, bedroom slippers are at each bedside and chocolates as well as water are on the night stands. That is just one example and I could write at least 10 more without giving it much thought at all. We can't wait to go back to again experience the epitome of luxury, stellar service, delicious foods and drink.

Le Blanc was my 2nd all-inclusive resort and my first time in Cancun. I loved every second I spent in Cancun and at Le Blanc. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and very accommodating, and the food was excellent! The wifi was great. We used our spa resort credits for mani/pedis. We also used our resort credits to take a ferry to Isla Mujeres which resulted in spending the day at Discovery Dolphin Park where you could go swimming with the dolphins or snorkeling. My boyfriend and I chose to wait for the ferry and explore downtown Isla Mujeres. We rented a golf cart and explored the town. We only had a little over an hour which was disappointing. Also going from a place like Le Blanc to the Dolphin Park was like night and day. The red flag was up the entire time of our trip, but that didn't stop us from having an awesome time. I cannot wait to go back to Le Blanc and explore more of Cancun!

Everything about Le Blanc was First Class!! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated incredible. The room was beautiful. The food and drinks were amazing. The spa and fitness area are top notch. EVERYTHING was great!! I look forward to going back.

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this vacation! The food at the hotel was excellent in all of the restaurants, we had top shelf alcohol, the staff was great... I could go on and on! The beach was beautiful and our view was great! We never had a hard time finding chairs at the pool or at the beach. We had a couples massage and used the spa facilities and they were excellent. All in all a perfect vacation! If I had to complain (which I am not really doing), the hotel next door was a little loud one day when they were having a pool party for the families but it was not a big deal. Also, unless you are really interested, I would skip the time share presentation in the beginning. A very nice firm no will work! You can always find out more information about it at a later time.

Nice Hotel. The only complaint I had was they try to hard sell you to attend a meeting trying to get you to join their "club" to vacation there more often ...not what you want when you are trying to get into your room and start a relaxing vacation.

A wonderful hotel, let down by the food

Booked Le Blanc on the back of fantastic reviews. Hotel: the hotel itself is wonderful, the layout is great, lots of pools and easy access to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and the facilities are very good. The spa is A1 and the gym is well equipped. We went for the honeymoon suite with the hot tub, and I’d suggest you book the same if you book this hotel. Every time we walked into the room, the sea view is breathtaking, and having a hot tub in the room with a drink watching the view is a perfect way to end the day. Staff: this has to be the best part of the hotel. All of the staff are always smiling, helpful to the end and are happy to accommodate any request. After a couple of days, some started to remember our names making it feel like a personal service. A special mention to Samuel on the concierge desk, who recommended Porferio’s restaurant for my birthday meal. A meal to remember. Food: this is where Le Blanc unfortunately disappoints. The breakfast buffet is good and the choices varied. However, every other meal we had here was poor. The food is unseasoned and very bland. The Mexican food is tasteless and you will find better quesadillas in a Taco Bell. The Italian restaurant is smart and the menu reads well, but again, the food is average. We had room service once and left most of it. The crudités were not fresh. The tomatoes in the caprese salad were soft and had little flavour. (Tomatoes in Mexico should taste of tomatoes!) Also, we had lunch at The Terrace restaurant. We ordered a pizza that appeared vegetarian (no mention of any meat and described as “red onions, habanero sauce & mozzarella). Halfway through, my girlfriend realised there was meat in there. She’s been vegetarian for 34 years). The restaurant managers reaction was “it is a traditional Mexican combination”, not getting the point. We were not expecting haute cuisine but for what they charge, one would expect a better standard of cooking. Also, we didn’t feel the “resort dollars” offered any value. The concept wasn’t explained on check in, we only realised two days in. The spa treatments you could use the dollars on were basic, and seemingly the best treatments were always offered at a premium. My girlfriend was looking forward to the romantic meal in the private beach cabana on our final evening, which we booked early on. Three nights before our booking, they suddenly took the lobster off the menu, substituting with fish or shrimp.. the excuse was “the chef was not happy with the quality of the lobster”... I cannot imagine they order lobster days in advance, this didn’t ring true to us.

Wow.. Leblanc exceeded our expectations yet again. We loved the renovations since our last visit (2 years ago). The new beds were like sleeping in a cloud, the rooms were refreshed, the lobby looked more modern and open. What was unchanged was the high level of customer service and personal attention to our every need. Leslie the manager immediately remembered and welcomed us as we arrived. We always appreciate the personal attention to every detail, they remembered us by name! The personal detail of our Butler service was exceptional (Jesus and Adrianna). The poolside experience is also exceptional. Lucy, Jorge, and many others attended to our every need. Lilly is a delight in the jewelry store! She had items brought into the store that she thought I would like. They were the perfect treasures to remember from my trip! We loved our trip from beginning to end. We will return again next year!! We also decided to do the on site professional photo shoot. It was a great way to capture our memories of this trip. I highly recommend it.

Can't say enough of this resort. The renovations are stunning. The service is great. Our Concierge Rogelio G.V. was awesome. Also our floor butlers Santigo and Marco B. were the best. Loved our room and service was great. Can't wait to be able to visit again.

My husband and I absolutely loved this beautiful resort! Each of the restaurants at the resort had excellent service and delicious food with it's own style. The gym and workout classes were great! The spa was amazing. We enjoyed our massages, but even more than that we loved the guided hydrotherapy tours. So relaxing and therapeutic! The best thing of all was the service provided by the butlers. Our butlers, Santiago and Marco went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We mentioned at check in that we were celebrating our anniversary and the evening of our anniversary, there were balloons, champagne, rose petals and music waiting for us in our room when we returned from dinner! We are so grateful that we chose this resort and would love to return!

Beautiful Remodel and Another Great Trip

This was our first visit to LeBlanc since the remodel. I must say that the improvements were terrific. Most notably the addition and expansion of the restaurant on 3rd floor offered great quality and variety from breakfast through dinner. The old International restaurant now Mexican, has been modified and much more guest friendly to navigate. The addition of an ice cream bar and pastry shop were nice to see. The staff are wonderful. The restaurants overall remain excellent. The service overall remains excellent. Notable staff mentions: Marco and his entire staff at the 2nd floor breakfast lunch restaurant. He is an exceptional manager that sets the bar high for his staff. The wait staff are all excellent and Isabel on the grill is too. Laura and Lucinda at the pool are absolutely top notch and go above and beyond to make your stay by the pool or beach a stress free memorable one. The bar staff overall are excellent. There does seem to be some inconsistency with the newer bar staff in drink preparation but they have good mentors in their senior bar staff to learn from. The spa staff remain excellent in service and efficiency. The Escalade driver for airport transfers was excellent. The butler staff overall are excellent. Ideas to consider for improvement: We tip for excellent service. With the butlers, it is very complicated as they work shifts and rotate floors. It is not feasible to provide gratuity to all of them. Some are better than others. Could there be a way to leave a tip that could be divided to top performing butlers? Although the restaurants remain exceptional, please consider bringing back some basics. This would be regular beef carpaccio, prosciutto, and cheese wheel as standard menu items in the Italian restaurant. Also, consider returning escargot with the pastry and drawn butter to the French restaurant. The ice cream shop is really nice to have. Please consider extending the hours past 6pm so that guests can enjoy after dinner. Lastly, please bring back the Chef's dinner.
