Apple sold us a hotel flight package that was poorly researched

The hotel was closed upon arrival under heavy construction. Shipped to lower class hotel that was not what we paid for. Apple representatives were less than helpful. Returned to LeBlanc second day of vacation to loud construction, dust everywhere, poor service, and holes in the ceilings from water damage. Food menu had changed, LeBlanc has gone done a few notches. Pool was closed under construction, spa was not totally operating, not all restaurants had food listed on the menu, and what they did have was not good. We did not pay 5k for poor service, poor food, and a hotel under construction. This should have been postponed by Apple in advance, we were told the hotel was operating and fully open prior to our departure. We want a refund!!!

We have been to a number of resorts in the Cancun and Riveria Maya area and this hotel tops every one of them. There is not one single thing that we could have experienced to make this trip more perfect. When you walk into this hotel, the immediate vibe is that you are in a truly special place. They treat you like royalty anfpd they think of everything so you don't have to. Our every need as far as services were met and even needs that we didn't think that we had . An example would be their turndown service. When you return to your room for the evening, the staff has your room properly lit, the aroma of your choice fills the air, the tv is turned to a soft music with a relaxing visual, bedroom slippers are at each bedside and chocolates as well as water are on the night stands. That is just one example and I could write at least 10 more without giving it much thought at all. We can't wait to go back to again experience the epitome of luxury, stellar service, delicious foods and drink.

Le Blanc was my 2nd all-inclusive resort and my first time in Cancun. I loved every second I spent in Cancun and at Le Blanc. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and very accommodating, and the food was excellent! The wifi was great. We used our spa resort credits for mani/pedis. We also used our resort credits to take a ferry to Isla Mujeres which resulted in spending the day at Discovery Dolphin Park where you could go swimming with the dolphins or snorkeling. My boyfriend and I chose to wait for the ferry and explore downtown Isla Mujeres. We rented a golf cart and explored the town. We only had a little over an hour which was disappointing. Also going from a place like Le Blanc to the Dolphin Park was like night and day. The red flag was up the entire time of our trip, but that didn't stop us from having an awesome time. I cannot wait to go back to Le Blanc and explore more of Cancun!

Everything about Le Blanc was First Class!! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated incredible. The room was beautiful. The food and drinks were amazing. The spa and fitness area are top notch. EVERYTHING was great!! I look forward to going back.

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this vacation! The food at the hotel was excellent in all of the restaurants, we had top shelf alcohol, the staff was great... I could go on and on! The beach was beautiful and our view was great! We never had a hard time finding chairs at the pool or at the beach. We had a couples massage and used the spa facilities and they were excellent. All in all a perfect vacation! If I had to complain (which I am not really doing), the hotel next door was a little loud one day when they were having a pool party for the families but it was not a big deal. Also, unless you are really interested, I would skip the time share presentation in the beginning. A very nice firm no will work! You can always find out more information about it at a later time.

Nice Hotel. The only complaint I had was they try to hard sell you to attend a meeting trying to get you to join their "club" to vacation there more often ...not what you want when you are trying to get into your room and start a relaxing vacation.

The Short Version Our one week stay was perfection from start to finish. The customer service is truly world class, the food is terrific and the facilities are gorgeous. My wife and I have visited over 25 countries and have never had better service than Le Blanc offers. Le Blanc is worth every penny. The Long Version We returned to Le Blanc after a couple of years and enjoyed the newly renovated facilities even more than the last time. Service: We used the private airport pickup service and it was worth it. We were greeted immediately by a driver with our name and whisked away in an Escalade. No waiting for other passengers and no diversions to other resorts. On the way to Le Blanc we were given cool towels and a cocktail and pillow menu for our room. The cocktail we chose was handed to us on our arrival. What a nice way to start! No matter where you go at Le Blanc, the customer service is the friendliest and most attentive we have ever encountered. Our butlers (Hugo and Israel) went out of their way to take care of our every need. After dinner one night we returned to find our jacuzzi tub full, rose petals around, and a bottle of nice wine. Amazing! I’m sure the service is amazing whether you tip the staff or not, but we always bring a couple thousand pesos along to show them how much we appreciate the effort. Room: We had a Honeymoon suite, with a lovely ocean view. The renovations were noticeable, with a multi-jet shower that was hard to leave. I may have already priced out the same Kohler shower fittings for a bathroom renovation at home. :) We appreciated the new bracelets that open the room doors. It’s nice not to have to remember a room key-card every time you leave. After playing in the ocean every day, our bracelets each stopped working once and needed replacing. Not a big deal. In the room you’ll find a fully stocked mini bar with snacks and drinks, including 4 bottles of spirits to mix your own cocktails if you can’t wait for room service or make your way down to the closest bar. The bed was very comfortable and the wifi was very good for a hotel which made the tiny bit of work we had to do a real breeze. Lots of plugs and usb ports made charging our devices super simple. No need to lug all of your adapters along. Speaking of breezes, it is nice to leave the patio door open to get some ocean wind and sound in the room but the humidity collects in the room over time so we generally closed it after an hour or so. The air conditioning turns off when you open the door, which is great. On our next visit, we will request a room that faces away from the pool or try out a Jr. Suite. There were a few days when there were loud people in the main pool, shouting and being a bit obnoxious. The resort to the north is also very loud at times, with poolside parties that include thumping music and a guy on a megaphone. Pools: If you enjoy quiet and serenity, there are other Le Blanc pools to choose from, away from the noise. The main pool has a view of the beach an ocean. It’s too bad that umbrellas have been added in front of the infinity pool, ruining the “infinity effect”. The designer of the resort would not be happy with that, I’m sure. It cost millions of dollars to design and build the pool so the water blends perfectly with the ocean. One of the other guests kept taking down the umbrellas but the staff kept putting them back up again. We had a good laugh at the back and forth struggle. :) We enjoyed the surfboard cocktail waitress who cruised the pool offering guests “cocktails of the day” from her white board. It was especially nice on the busy days when the swim-up bar was crowded. Introverts like us don’t always want to run the gauntlet of big, red, loud guests just to get a drink. Above the main pool is a more relaxed pool. The water is quite a bit cooler than the main pool though, which might not be to everyone’s liking. On the lagoon side of the pool is a third pool, and it is the quietest of the three. There is no ocean view and a bit of traffic noise but it is seldom busy and has a swim up bar, too. Food: Every evening at the lagoon pool a wonderful lady rolls out a Churro Cart and serves fresh churros with fillings for a few hours. I ate way too many of them. So many, that our butler rang our room when the cart arrived at the pool to make sure I didn’t miss out. Did I mention the incredible service? The food is the best we have ever had in Mexico and would be considered very good here at home. We were pleased to see the addition of a Mexican restaurant. We ended up cancelling reservations at the Japanese restaurant one night just so we could eat more Mexican food. Our favorites were Mexican, Lumiere (French), and the Rooftop grill that I can’t remember the name of. We also ordered poolside and room service as well. The seafood ceviche and the hanger steak nachos were delicious and paired nicely with our Margarita Classicos. Spa/Credits: You will receive credits to use during your stay, usually between $1500 and $2500. You will have to pay a 16% “service fee” on any credits used. For us that worked out to $430 CAD on our $2000 USD credit. You can decide if the cost is worth the service you are getting. We sat through another pitch from the Palace Elite Sales team so that we could use all of our credits on Spa services and spent most of it. For the price we paid, the spa service we received was a great deal. We had a Couples Massage, A Four-Hand Couples Massage (2 masseuses each), and the deluxe Couples Massage experience. All were very good. The deluxe experience is in a fantastic, huge, private room where we enjoyed a steam, a shower, a sauna, and then a jacuzzi soak with fruit and sparkling wine, followed by a massage. We really liked the room but were surprised that the attendants remained during the pre-massage portion of the experience. It meant we had to wear bathing suits which isn’t really a “spa experience” to us. We would have appreciated a quick tutorial on the amenities and then time to ourselves to relax before the massage. Maybe we’re a bit too “European” with our lack of modestly. :) Turtles! If you’re lucky enough to visit between June and November, you may get to watch sea turtles lay their eggs and hatchlings return to the sea! We highly recommend Le Blanc Cancun are looking forward to a return visit.

I am a Diamond Member with over 15 years experience of traveling to Mexico and the Dominican Republic.. During the week of April 2, 2019 My wife and stayed at Le Blanc for our 25th wedding anniversary and visited three other Palace locations. Allow me to inform you no other locations can not hold a candle to Le Blanc. The atmosphere, service and attention to detail make Le Blanc a premiere resort. I must admit I was skeptical when we showed up, but any problems that we original had were address by the General Manager, Janai Valdez. He was attentive, supportive and made a huge difference in our stay. My wife and I truly had a memorable experience thanks to him and his amazing staff. The people who work at Le Blanc are by far the best representatives at this elegant resort. It must be noted, that any employee who works at these resorts can only be promoted through positive feedback comments on websites like this, when they are personally identified. So allow me to thank several people who stood out and need special recognition for their outstanding customer service. I want them to know that someone actually took notice and wanted them to receive some recognition if Palace Resorts even reads these reviews, Rogelio "Roger" Valdez was our Diamond Services Supervisor. He quickly rectified any concerns that were brought to his attention. He would seek us out at the pool to follow up on any problems that we had mentioned. He quickly became family to us and we will never forget all he has done for us! In addition, "Edgar" from the third floor Steak House, "Toni" and "Christian" from the Japanese restaurant, "Luisa" from the pool and "Omar" from the gym. These people deserve special recognition for their exceptional customer service and going above and beyond their job description. Finally, two superstars. Ana Mier who greeted us and took care of our every need, Palace Resorts, if you are reading this please note. This woman is your future. She is a superstar and you should know it. Also, the man who was the catalyst for our entire vacation, Mr. Christian Rangel. He is a mover and a shaker. I think any resort that has him would be lucky. We were so impressed with him, that we had an option to go anywhere this summer and we chose Moon Palace Sunrise! In summary, Le Blanc is that place that you want to go to celebrate a special occasion or just spend some time with a loved one. We are very thankful we booked here and can't wait until we come back again!

I had the best stay in this hotel that I have never lived in my whole life. Excellent service everywhere in the hotel, at the reception, in restaurants, at the pool (Christopher gave us an excellent service). I recommend this hotel.

I was there for 2 nights from April 4th to 6 and just loved everything about it! The food is amazing (the Italian restaurant) as well as the room service! The butler service is great The service at the pool/beach is also great The rooms with the aromatherapy and everything is just great - try it! The beds are so comfy! Will surely return!

Overall this hotel has it all, amazing views, food and as it is adults only it is nice and peaceful. However a few things were disappointing, firstly when we inquired about visiting Chichen itza the team continued to sell a 2 and a half hour tour to visit their new hotel which is where they sell you memberships or more and if we did this we got the tour tickets free, we declined but got asked 3 times afterwards which felt like hard selling. We had a butler and this was great but felt that it took so long to get what you ordered that by the time it arrived you did not need/want it anymore. As well as this I noted if you gave a tip the turnaround time was quicker and you got pastries with your tea. The tip policy was very confusing and this was the most negative aspect of the hotel. The service is very good but when the waiting staff note you are not tipping the service changes and they are not as attentive. Some waiting staff are direct and ask how you felt the service was and that tips are not included and others are very over the top with the friendliness that you feel awkward when you leave the table. The reason we did not tip is firstly it did not always seem necessary (buffet food) and other times as it is all inclusive we did not need a handbag/wallet and so can just be relaxed but you are made very aware that you have failed to tip so be wary!!. I did read up on this before we went but will advise you that if you do visit this hotel be ready to tip after each meal, getting given a towel/drink near the pool etc. Lastly, as we went for our honeymoon I did not feel the hotel did anything special for us on arrival or during our stay. It would have been nice to have had a personal touch to add to this but there was nothing at all which was very disappointing. Overall a lovely hotel and ambiance but the let down was the tipping of the staff and being put in rather awkward situations.
