We love Las Brisas Huatulco
Mar 24 2017
2017 was our fourth visit. We love this place. The personnel, service and facilities are absolutely excellent. The breakfast and lunch buffets are excellnt. The food at the 5-6 restaurants available for dinner is a little disappointing. This year we had a bit of a problem getting access to equipment for snorkeling. Otherwise all of the activities were great as well.

Change from a couch potato
Feb 21 2017
I was recovering from a broken neck. I just got out of the cervical collar the middle of January. I didn't realize that this hotel was full of so many steps and that the hotel was on the hillside. You will be doing a lot of walking if you stay at this hotel there are a lot of steps that you will have to go up and down. There are shuttles if you choose to wide. I however found that this hotel was excellent to make me go from a couch potato back into shape. For me I could not have chosen a better place. The staff was excellent they try to meet your every need. The beaches were outstanding. The hotel and facilities are extremely clean. The Kasbar restaurant is outstanding the food was terrific and the belly dancer very entertaining. ting.

A very nice facility
Feb 27 2016
The hotel has a lot of personality compared to others on the bay. The staff tries very hard to please and most speak English. The Seafood restaurant is outstanding. Well worth going twice. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Room staff provided nice touches every day. Beach Club staff was excellent at night and in the morning. Will go back for sure.

2014 Las Brisas Huatulco Mexico
May 03 2014
The resort was beautiful, but many steps and the air conditioning was very poor, the resort is very spread out so it made it difficult to get around with out a ride from their transportation.

room air conditioner could not keep up. The airline ( Sun Country) gate agents deceived the passengers on the departure flight with the reason for the 3 1/2 hour delay. The pilot was truthful with why there was a delay. Our plane was given to a group headed to St Thomas.

Apple excursions
Feb 26 2014
The person booking the excursions at the hotel was not knowledgeable, and did not charge us the correct amount when we booked our excursions, so we had to pay her more the next day. She could use better training on how to serve customers.

Las Brisas
Feb 25 2014
The only negative was the dinners at restaurants were only fair. Otherwise breakfast and lunch buffets were great, service was excellent. Las Brisas is on a hilly area dependent on cart transportaion between locations and the avaiability was excellent. Never waited more than 5 minutes. Amenities such as boating, snorkeling and poolside service was excellent.

I would recommend it to everyone

Could be a really great place if it was fixed up a bit.

After having many problems with the rooms we first received we were moved. After that the room was OK and we were even upgraded to their suite. One of the employees even mentioned it was tough for them to move people because the rooms that were left open were known to have issues. The staff was absolutely wonderful and food was good for an All Inclusive.

Wedding week extravaganza!
Jan 31 2014
We made the trek down to Huatulco to attend our nieces' wedding along with other family members and friends. We had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect, the hotel staff are very friendly, hard working and very attentive. The beaches and pools are clean and very refreshing. They have daily and nightly activities that you can participate in if you wish. Food and drink are plentiful...there is something for everyone to eat, although not the best that I have had at a resort. The food in the restaurants was better than the buffet in my opinion. This is a very large, expansive resort and we were impressed with the up-keep. Beautiful scenery from every corner of the resort.

Engagement 2018

Engagement 2018 Staff where awesome great snorkeling right off my beach chair Disappointed paid for an upgrade but no balcony:( Resort was a little more spread out and larger than I prefer and could of used another buffet venue for supper

What a great resort, the only thing I'd suggest to change is to forget the live music and instead have a DJ that knows what Canadians want to dance to. We did the Magic Falls tour with Mario, it was utterly fantastic and he is an awesome guy, a real people person!!

Landscape AMAZING! Food was an issue and you better be in SHAPE

Been to Las Brisas several times, love the landscape I have never seen anything so beautiful!. First thing to note, you do not want to go to this resort if you are out of shape or have the slightest disability. You will never walk as much at any resort, even taking the cars to and from your room you still have a lot of stairs everywhere you go. Rooms: Very basic but they have a decent bed are kept clean. Pretty much every room does not have a balcony, out of five stays I had a deck once. Restaurants: There are several sit down ones and you will want to reserves your limit. Tried them all food is Okay nothing special. Buffet is terrible the only decent meal you will get there is breakfast. Every time I have been there I had stomach issues which is a downer on vacation. Bar/lounge Area: Supper uncomfortable, tons of kids running around bothered me. If you don't like kids you will not be happy here. There are pools tables, and other games in that areas, entertainment staff do involve all, they are really good. Beaches/pools: There are 4 in total with three being very user friendly and lovely. One beach is lo just lounge around and go into the water, the other is snokling and water activities. Pools are so so, adult is decent but I wouldn't go in the others. There are a lot of children at this resort. Location: You would need to take a cab anywhere you go, but it is very reasonable. You will want to do some exploring. The view is why I go back, haven't found anything as beautiful as of yet. Try it you may love it!

We still love the location, weather and people. The hotel is nothing fancy, but the price reflects this. The food is average, the best meal and service we had was at the seafood restaurant. The one thing we really did not appreciate was the extremely casual dress code allowed in the restaurants. The night we went to the steak restaurant and there was a lady in jean cut offs, flip flops and a old sweatshirt. If you are going to advertise a dress code you should enforce it. Overall we had a great vacation and love all the friendly people and the area of Huatulco! We did celebrate New Year’s Eve at the hotel and we thought the hotel did a fantastic job putting on an amazing celebration. We hope to be back in Huatulco soon!

I gave this hotel a 3 rating only because of the selection of food. The hotel itself is great - the staff very attentive to your needs. The beaches were nice and clean and the evening entertainment was good. No beach merchants which was great for us. We did not do the tours from the hotel but used the local taxi services instead they were awesome, but get a driver that speaks good English unless you are fluent in Spanish. Overall the hotel was a good value with the exception of the food -
