It seemed like I read mixed reviews when we chose this hotel. We enjoyed our stay. The Kauai beach resort was large, well maintained and had nice staff on hand. I like the fact that it is close to Lihue Airport..most other large resorts are either at the South end or North end of the Island. The beach isn't the best for swimming, but it is nice to look at. Everything was great with the hotel except for the air conditioning and beach. The air conditioning worked but not that well. We like it cold when we sleep and the air never really went below 70.
