The staff was excellent, the hotel is dated, I did get sick, we heard more Michael jackson then reggae, reminded us of a party resort, way to many stupid drunk people. The food was really good but because of the sickness it got a good rating.

We had our wedding at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites with over 40 guests. The BEST place ever. Would go back and do it all over again and again. We will definitely be back. The hotel and people were phenomenal. Can't wait to return.

The Iberostar Grand Rose Hall is an Awesome place to stay! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good, service was great and my butler got me anything I needed. There was entertainment everyday and the pools were great. I would return in a heartbeat to this resort!

Got stuck in the worst room

We arrived hoping to have an excellent experience. We even upgraded from an ocean view to an ocean front. Well, we understand rooms have to be cleaned, so we didn't mind the wait. We want to the bar to get drinks, well upon entering the room, there was a moldy smell and the floor was wet. Then, the minibar wasn't stocked. It took 3 calls=3 hours for someone to finally come and stock it. We were right about the mold, all in the bathroom, on the wall. You could see where they attempted to paint over it. If you ever stay at the Iberostar Grand, and they give you room 6117, request a new room. Definitely wasted upgrade.

My stay at Iberostar Grand was nothing short of wonderful! The only issue I have is the old carpeting they have on the floors of the hallways. I know this is to reduce noise but it is moldy and flared up my allergies. This would be the one and only reason why I will not return. Otherwise, this resort is worth the try. The staff is awesome and I really enjoyed my stay. Just a word of advice, please don't get upset about tipping. The staff does not make a lot of money and they work hard. Tipping will make your stay so much more enjoyable and bringing along enough singles to assist will be best. I heard so many folks complaining about the expectation of tipping and just wanted to voice my opinion. The food selection is amazing and you will not have any trouble finding something to eat. The spa is really nice and I strongly recommend the Jamaican Ritual. The onsite entertainment is a bit overdone but not bad. There are plenty of towels available and the pool and beach areas are well maintained. The chairs are a bit stained so just use two towels to cover the entire length of the chair.

This was our first "all inclusive" and did not disappoint! PROS: Apple Vacation made booking seamless. All you can eat and drink - what else do you need? The staff was AMAZING (thanks Ian, Danielle, Renauldo and Shane). Grounds were beautiful and pool and beach relaxing. Very accommodating. CONS: Apple Vacation rep did not mention our free golf day until I asked about it at the end of trip. Seemed to push to get excursions (only) through them. Rep said it was because Apple Vacation was responsible for us and we would be protected if we booked through them. But then I was asked to sign a waiver for the excursion saying Apple Vacation wasn't responsible if anything happened. Not cool. One rep (Dominique) very attentive and accommodating. Other rep - Set a time to meet but was never there. Not accommodating. I had to text Dominique to make sure our departing info got to the right people. All in all good trip. No major hiccups. We missed our flight to the resort and Apple Vacation Rep Angela was extremely proactive in contacting the resort and making sure everything worked out. I would use Apple Vacation again for sure!

We had a beautiful week at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The butlers, Ojay, Andre,and Randy made certain that we had all we needed. Andre made us a lovely rose petal bath! The food selection, specialty restaurants were excellent. Loved the Japanese! Great jerk chicken at the buffets and grill. The bartenders were great as well. Tried Ricardo's rummy yummy! The beach was long and great swimming. Beautiful, well appointed room and patio. This is the best resort we have stayed at in Jamaica. We cannot say enough good things. We must go back soon

The hotel was very nice and the food was good. I can't say enough good things about the beach and the quality of the resort. However, there were two issues. First, we were supposed to have a butler, who did introduce himself once, but then never came back. I wouldn't have noticed any issue other than that I had stayed at the hotel once before and the butler service was one of the most fun features. When we checked in, there must not have been a butler available, so we missed the "orientation" about the hotel, including what the butler had to offer, and the hotel never really made up for it. Second, we were presented with a free massage in exchange for breakfast with a hotel employee to discuss potential services about the hotel. I thought this might have been in lieu of the butler explaining options, but it turned out to be a pitch for basically a timeshare. The whole ordeal took two hours of our morning, and we didn't do anything prior to 10 a.m. when our meeting was scheduled, so we lost a half-day of vacation. And that was only after we repeatedly said we weren't going to buy anything, so you have to either avoid this presentation or stick to your guns, unless you are interested in their program.

This was our 1st trip to Jamaica, and I couldn't have been more satisfied with the hotel staff, room, butler service, maids, etc. The drinks were outstanding and the bartenders were funny. Everyone there made you feel welcome. The only con (just my opinion) was that the food on the buffets was either luke warm or cold. The sit down restaurants were great and the food came out hot and was excellent. I would definitely give this vacation a 5 start rating.

We had a great time in Jamaica. The people were fantastic..always wanting to help. Service was fantastic, drinks yummy! We were only disappointed in the main buffet one evening and were a little sad that the only times we could get into the specialty restaurants was 8:30 pm. We loved everything else.

My husband and I stayed at the Grand from Oct 4-9 for our 1yr anniversary. The year before we got married at the Suites and honeymooned at the Grand so this time we wanted to spend more time alone at the Grand without all of the family. Like our previous stay, the Grand far exceeded my expectations. Our check-in was smooth and without issues. I was sad to hear they didn't have any upgrades but was advised the hotel was completely booked. We reserved an ocean view suite which overlooked the pool. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Always asking us to participate in the many games they offered. My husband was like a big kid and enjoyed participating in the volleyball games and water sports. Unlike my active husband, I enjoyed sitting by the beach and enjoying the DRINKS! My only negative comment was during the setup of our dinner reservations, I asked if we could have our anniversary dinner on the beach. A day went by and the anniversary dinner was never confirmed so it never happened. So after telling several different butlers that our anniversary was Sunday, we hoped and prayed we would be able to celebrate our anniversary. Well finally, on our anniversary, they confirmed having our anniversary dinner in our room. They decorated our room with rose petals and served dinner in our room. Dinner was delicious. So despite not having it on the beach, as we wished, it still turned out beautiful. Since we didn't get to take any tours during our visit last year, we decided to take a tour to Kingston. I did a lot of research and found a small touring company called KnowJamaica.com. I emailed the owner Marva as well as several other companies a month before we traveled and requested information on tours to Kingston from Montego Bay as well as pricing. Marva was the first company to email me immediately and allowed me to customize our tour and also provided the cheapest pricing. Marva's son picked us up at 7am Friday morning from the hotel and we were off to Kingston. He stopped at several stops along the way showing us various attractions which made our 3 hour trip to Kingston seem like nothing. He also stopped and allowed us to sample various local fruits. We visited several historical sites in Kingston and also went to lunch at a local restaurant. We had a great time and would not hesitate taking another tour with Marva and her son. So all and all, another great stay at the GRAND! I miss it already especially the delicious lobster.

The rooms in the Grand are large, contemporary with huge balconies. Recommend the pool view... breathtaking! Food and drinks are great too. Went to the gym and it’s large, clean with plenty of equipment. My friends took the spin class and highly recommend it.Great place for groups!

I stayed here solo from October 25 to November 1. As a single female traveler, I felt totally comfortable and safe and happy.....I don't know how to express the amazing friendly vibe and the laid back elegance of the Iberostar Grand. I have been to many places and high end all inclusive resorts around the Caribbean but this place tops them all for food and outstanding customer service. The beach is Very Good for the Montego Bay area. It is sandy with no rocks, a gradual entry and when the winds are calm, incredibly beautiful with many colours of green an blue visible. Food....Buffet.....all you would ever want or need at ANY resort. It is prepared very well, always presented nicely in a elegant buffet style at the main buffet area, was very tasty and had such a variety that you would not know where to begin or end. All three grill/cook stations were always open with cooks ready to customize your food to order. Jamaican Restaurant was just outstanding. The lobster tails were served hot and fresh and were delicious, all entrees and mains and desserts were so good and the service was quick and professional. The Surf and Turf, WOW one of the best Rib eye steaks I have ever had, cooked to medium perfection, great mashed with asparagus, the flavour and temperature of the steak was fantastic, service was quick but enough time to enjoy each course. The other guests were completely blown away by the Lobster they had that evening, so much so that they asked to speak to the Chef to thank her in person for such wonderful food! The Japanese was equally as good as the two above restaurants, the Teriyaki Salmon was just so tasty and well cooked, veggies and rice seasoned so well it's hard to not want to finish every single item they put in front of you. Front desk staff and Concierge girls, I have a terrible memory for names but unbelievable customer service. I had an issue with my room and after relaying my concerns, they offered other choices to please me until I was satisfied. I was very impressed at their attitudes, there was no trace of impatience or being upset with my fussiness, they were very professional about it all and were smiling and wanted to make sure I was happy with my room. I also switched my reservations for the restaurants quite a few times due to changing my tours or adding activities and they willingly and happily changed anything they could to accommodate me. I would like to make a special mention to the beautiful concierge young lady in the main lobby who I spoke to at great length. She mostly worked the afternoon shift until 9:30 pm. She was not only helping me with changing my reservations around, she became a great friend to me, sharing personal stories with me and waving and chatting each day! She felt like family to be by the time I left!! Butler, I had Taniel and Matthew and both were so kind and Attentive! Taniel made sure to check in, looking for me on the pool deck or beach each afternoon to see if I needed his assistance in making any arrangements and checking if my room was ok and in need of anything. On the second last night, he personally filled up the bath tub with nice smelling bath bubbles and had pretty flower petals arranged in a beautiful design for me to enjoy! Great service from both Butlers! Towel girls/guys...really sweet and kind! I have never been to a resort where they have all kinds of sunscreen and they will even apply it to your back if you need them to. In my case, I was traveling alone so it was a very useful thing for me! One day I got a sunburn on the back of my calves and they ran somewhere to get me some Hawaiian Tropic Aloe and came back with a full bottle for me to take to my room to use! That's service! Watersports...great! I used the kayaks in the beautiful sea, that was a lot of fun, there was snorkeling gear available and I utilized Dressel Divers for a few activities, Parasailing which was so much fun with great equipment, I felt safe and confident in the captain and the equipment! Special mention to Chloe and KAT! These ladies work for Dressel Divers and they are so personable and fun. I did the luminous lagoon tour and we had such a great time talking and enjoying the boat ride to and from the lagoon which by the way was very cool with the glowing water and sparkles that you could see on your hands and arms when you lifted them out of the water! The entertainment staff are a lot of fun and try to get you involved in activities but it it isn't your thing, they are not bothersome or pushy. The only cons I can see for this resort is that the entertainment shows in the theater at night could be better and I just hate the blue fog they release into the theater, I find after leaving there I was coughing and trying to clear my throat so after I realized that it was this smoke/fog that was affecting me, I did not return to the theater but I did see 3 shows. The second con for me personally is the rooms. They need to be re done there is no doubt about it. The room is kept as clean as humanly possible but the wallpaper behind the bed has large ripples in it, the night table surface was heavily scratched, the room had a damp smell that maybe would not bother a lot of people but for me, I could smell it each time I entered the room. I think they need to re do the rooms to match the quality of the rest of the resort. The hallway carpet should also be removed and tile installed to keep the damp smell out but that did not affect my vacation to any level that would make me not return! I am highly recommending this resort to those who like a laid back vibe with fantastic food, extremely courteous and friendly staff, stunning beach, cushioned chairs for relaxing on the beach and pool deck, basically if you like to feel pampered on a vacation... GO HERE! Enjoy!!

BEST VACATION EVER!!! I can't say enough about how lovely the Iberostar Grand staff are! From the moment I arrived to the moment of my departure, I was treated like a queen. The service, the food, the beautiful location was better than I could have imagined. As a single woman traveling solo, I felt so well cared for and very safe. Jamaica is a BEAUTIFUL island. The people warmed my heart!! Food was perfect.....I am dreaming of Jerk Chicken, best I ever had!! Definitely stop at Scotches its on the way to the hotel my driver from Top Choice Jamaica Tours brought us there and he was very patient and accommodating there customer service online was also great so I was able to prebook online through PayPal , they even had refreshments for me and gave me a great price to see Montego Bay tour. The resort facilities are very clean with an amazing smell (like fresh linen) perfume the halls. The shows and games made the experience so much fun! Such talent among the staff! I am booking my next visit as soon as possible. THANK YOU IBEROSTAR GRAND ROSE HALL! Best trip in my life!! Thank You Top Choice I will be back very soon its easy for me to tip you guys.
