Perched high above the sweeping Pacific coastline is the deluxe Parador Resort & Spa, considered by many to be Costa Rica's most romantic destination. Boasting jaw-dropping panoramic views, sprawling grounds, and exotic wildlife, Parador Resort & Spa is dedicated to the protection and preservation of nature's wonders. In fact, the resort has earned a CST rating of 5 (Certified for Sustainable Tourism), the highest award on the scale.

Located in Manuel Antonio, Parador Resort & Spa offers first-class accommodations and a long list of exciting activities. Take a romantic walk along a white-sand beach. Swing through the rainforest canopy under hazy streamers of light. Experience piano music and fine dining at La Galeria, or slip away to La Reina Private Dining Room, an enclave of romance and Medieval style. The resort boasts four restaurants, four bars (including a swim-up bar), a world-class spa, three ocean-view pools (two are adults-only), tennis, and a fitness center. All suites offer spectacular ocean views from the terraces.

Scenic trails point the way to resident reptiles, rainbow-hued birds, and three species of monkeys. Evoking the Old-World charm of a traditional Spanish settlement, the resort pairs a breathtaking natural setting with European elegance.

Beautiful property and very well maintained, the staff is excellent and they surely go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The view from the family pool is excellent and it is a perfect place to relax and unwind after long day going around in town of MA.

Our family returned from a trip to Manuel Antonio and a stay at Hotel Parador and we could not have been happier with our choice of hotel. Amazing hospitality at Parador. The front desk folks who check you in are amazingly friendly (they even gave the kids a cup of ice cream while we checked in). The breakfast daily is perfect! I especially recommend the detox juice (I've asked for the recipe, but haven't heard back yet). The rooms are nice, comfortable mattresses and amazing pillows (I'm a bit of a pillow snow and these were excellent). The wildlife on the grounds is amazing. Monkeys literally come up to your room windows. They're everywhere! The drive to the hotel is a bit of an adventure, but it's fine. The only thing I'd say they should do is warn you when you're going to the beach to wear hiking shoes and not flip flops. While it's true they give you a ride to the trail, the walking trail itself isn't an easy track in flip flops.

We stayed at the Parador at the end of November 2018 for 3 nights. We had an amazing time! The hotel was beautiful, stunning views. Very nice rooms, clean and comfortable. We had robes and slippers available to us. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and ALL the staff was so nice and accommodating. We got a suite, next time I think we'd get a downgraded room because we never used the tub on the patio because it was always so warm. Plus the pools are gorgeous and there is a nice sized tub in the room. The best part was seeing a sloth up close and personal. We'd went to the National Park a day before and saw a few sloths but they were very hard to see because they were so high up in the trees. At the resort it was much easier to view the sloth we saw--such a neat experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to come back in the future.
