At or near the resort, you'll golf, play tennis, and swim while younger guests explore the Chiqui Kids' Club.

You won't even have to get out of the pool to savor one of the creative cocktails at one of the swim-up bars, just float on over and enjoy. If you need a little more than a drink, you can choose to dine at one of the two delicious restaurants that the all-inclusive resort boasts. Also take advantage of the daily entertainment and famous Mexican Fiesta.

Please note: Our property is 100% smoking free in all the rooms, public areas, indoor areas and common areas including the pools. We will have a smoking area near the beach, for those guests that need to smoke.

Nice property
Nov 20 2017
Everything was great. Room had a nice view. Wish they stocked a refrigerator in the room. Did not care for the buffet. Ala cart restaurant was good. Staff was very nice. When we checked in and everything was closed they had a nice box lunch for us to eat. Pools were pleasant.

More than I expected!

My 3 children and I booked last-minute all-inclusive vacation with Apple. I wasn't expecting too much as it was last minute however, I was suprised with the excellent hospitality we received from the Holiday Inn staff. Everyone was courteous and friendly. Extra shout outs to: Gabriella and Raquel at the front desk. They always had a smile and were very accommodating, Alan presented a very detailed and scenic bike tour, Arnulfo at the Terraza is very friendly and efficient server, the bartender at the Terraza was also efficient and friendly but I forgot his name:( .. My children ranged from teen, tween and school age- they all enjoyed swimming everyday, all day. I would definetiely recommend this hotel and package for families.

Good clean place to stay

The Holiday Inn is dated but it is cpean and the staff is friendly. The food was good, and the drinks were strong. Lots of kids here, but did not detract from the ammeneties. You are about 75 miles from Cabo San Lucas. Cabo San Jose where this hotel is at is quite a bit more calm and friendly.

Couldn't have been better!

We had a GREAT time at this resort this week! The Activities Pool was tons of fun to watch, even if you did not indulge in the water aerobics or volleyball or whatever else Alan and Lili cooked up for you. Beautiful grounds, good food, decent drinks, and a fiesta featuring dances from different parts of Mexico. Horses on the beach, leaping mantas, gorgeous moonrises, and lounges everywhere: enough for all! Will definitely be back.

Fishing trip booked through Amstar representative at hotel - Aldo
Jun 14 2017
June 5th fishing trip was overall a very poor experience. The vendor used for the trip was very poor and ill-equipped. Crew acted as if we were not expected, had nothing ready or prepared for trip as promised by booking agent Aldo. Captain & mate had very poor interaction with us as customers.

It was a nice hotel. Little windy and unable to swim on the beach adjacent to property. Had to walk about 1 mile to swim. Hotel rooms need some updating.

We had a great time at the Holiday Inn in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico. They have 3 pools, 2 have swim up bars. There is entertainment each night. The 3 restaurants give you great variety in food. This time of Year is perfect as less busy so we never had to fight for oil chairs, always seemed to ha e some empty ones all day long.

Loved it

I was unsure about booking this resort as the website and brochure information presents it as very basic. However, we LOVED IT! The lobby staff were excellent – and our check in was quick and seamless. The resort itself is very large with three pools and distinct areas. There is a quiet adults only pool (which we glanced in at and it’s just that - very quiet), an activities pool which is bustling, with the odd activity throughout each day, music, volleyball, ping pong, foosball and families. The third pool is kids oriented with a larger shallow area, play structure, nearby playground, music and grassy area. All three have swim up bars with excellent drinks and very friendly service. Our room had two double beds, windows overlooking the pool and beach. It was very comfortable and clean. There are two restaurants on site which serve excellent food often with a Mexican flare. We enjoyed every meal we ate at either and again, the service was very good. (If guests are interested in the ala carte restaurant near the beach, they will need to make reservations the morning of as early as possible as it does fill up quickly). Which leads me to the beach – it was UNBELIEVABLE – definitely the largest beach we’ve ever been on with gorgeous sand, cabanas and lounge chairs to relax in. As well, unlike many resorts in Cabo, there was nightly entertainment – singing, dancing, live music and all extremely well done. If you are looking for a lovely hotel with basic but lovely amenities for an excellent price – we highly recommend the Holiday Inn All-Inclusive Los Cabos. (PS - for horseback riding on the beach - the gentlemen in front of the resort have lovely well cared for horses and do a great job at a fair price!)

All-Inclusive worth the Price, Friendly Accommodating Staff!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights following a 9-day live-aboard dive trip to the Socorro Islands. It was a great place to chill out and relax. We met a bunch of great people, drank our fair-share of great quality complimentary cocktails, and enjoyed our romantic dinners together at their nice beach-front restaurant right at sunset. We arrived early and were allowed access to the resort while the front desk checked-in our bags - early check-in at 11AM with a free upgraded ocean front room. On Friday evening the hotel management hosted a special banquet for select guests with a delicious food and drinks, guitar player and beautiful sunset. They even helped us with a special dinner reservation - FYI, book your dinner reservations early as they tend to fill up by the afternoon leaving you at the buffet. All in all, great relaxing trip with friendly staff and great beach-front sunsets!

Always consistent.

We ended our Cabo trip at the Holiday Inn after not being at this resort in 6 years, we used to visit every year until life got too hectic. We chose to end our trip here in hopes of seeing some of our favorite employees, Alma and Enrique and YES they were there with the same warm smiles and hugs that we remembered. The location of this resort and the "family" feeling we always had is still there and welcoming. The food was as good as we remembered and although remodeled since the last storm the changes made were all for the better. Thank you to Raul and the rest of the staff for reminding us why this is one of our favorites and we will be back soon with the whole family!
