Nice but older hotel

I just got back from this property and the people are extra friendly. This hotel is an older hotel and you could see the wear and tear. The breakfast was just ok as well. I felt safe and the staff was so nice and courteous.

Thank you for the hospitality

From the moment we arrived I found most the hotel staff very friendly but I must give a shout out to Gonzalo, the bell boy, Laney, the bartender at the activities pool, and Johanna, who works at the buffet restaurant. Those three will forever be on my mind and I wish them the very best. Gonzalo went above and beyond. My mother is disabled. We were given one a room with one bed. saw that mother was disabled and recommended me another disable room where everything would be conveniently located for her. Being stressed out from the trip I asked if he can handle everything for me and he did! He even came back to give me an update on the room 4106 cause it was not ready yet. He assured me that he’ll call maintenance to remove the legs from the bed because the bed was too high for my mother. I was happy to see that management saw that he is an eager individual and have started training him to become a receptionist. I believe he will be excellent for that position and truly believe if given the opportunity he will excel. Thanks you Laney por sacar la carne del coco for my mother. The hotel grounds are immaculate. Breakfast was awesome. I wish dinner could be a bit better but being at 25% occupancy i know it was feasible. Thank you everyone for making this trip amazing and less stressful on me taking care of my mother. My mother won’t stop talking about it.

We're just back from a week away and mostly a positive stay in Los Cabos. It's a good thing there is an adult only pool because this place is noisy. For the most part the place is very clean and the crews work hard to keep it maintained. As English only speaking guests we had some problems communicating but the staff were eager to help. The food is what colours my rating. It is just mediocre. I was hoping for better since the ratings are quite high for this place but honestly, it's not great. The distance to town was also an issue and as soon as you step off the grounds, the time share vultures will find you. Not the hotel's fault just something to be aware of. I don't think we'll go back but that's just who we are. There are always new places to go and adventures to have. This was definitely relaxing though.

Safe, fun, friendly and clean!

Just spent a week at this resort. We felt safe, it was very clean everywhere you went, the staff were friendly and always aimed to please. Sit at Xochitl or Benito’s table and you will receive the best service! We appreciated the shows and the beach dinner on Friday night. It was nice to look out at the beautiful beach and hear the crashing waves. No mosquitoes or bugs, which was nice. Be sure and visit the turtle sanctuary. We actually saw a turtle come to shore and lay her eggs. Afterwards, approximately 200-300 baby turtles were released! A first experience for us to witness. We hung out in the main pool, where Bryan, the activity director, brought lots of fun and energy with games and activities. He clearly loves what he does. Our bartenders were great - Noe and Linay kept up very well with the many requests for drinks. It’s a great idea to bring small bills to leave tips not only for our bartenders but for the staff who work very hard to keep everyone happy. The food was delicious with two restaurants to choose from (did I mention there are 8 bars?) It’s a great deal for all that you get. We will return with our entire family next year!

Wonderful Hotel

This is the second time we have stayed here, and love it. The rooms are clean comfortable, and though we have had a "garden view" room we have always had a view of the ocean. If you love birds, wildlife, and peace this is the place to stay. It sits next to a sanctuary, and has a sea turtle hatchery on site. If you are up early enough you may be able to see and participate in the release of the baby turtles. The staff is warm and welcoming some of our personal favorites Xochitl at the restaurant, Eli. Estella, Luis, and Elva all serve excellent drinks. There are two restaurants the food is excellent. Though missing a little salt which I think has to do with a national health campaign, and my Dr would approve. There is usually an evening show with buffet, and Greyline offers excursions to activities outside of the hotel.
