Apple added value

We're going back to using Apple after trying self booking. We had no problems, but it was good to know we had a professional team to back us up if we did. I'm glad we had the Apple transfers booked in advance. It was a madhouse at the airport and you wouldn't know who to trust.

Amazing hotel and loved everything about it. Only wish that when we checked in, someone told us about the resort. Our food options, pool & beach, internet, etc. We spent the first day exploring and walking ourselves around and asking questions to become familiarized with the restaurants and everything.

Airport issue

My only disappointment was dealing with the Cabo Real timeshare salesperson before they got me to the Apple represenative to get on my shuttle. Not your fault i understand it is the airport administration that allows it.

Very nice, but too ritzy

The Hilton is very nice, but too quiet and ritzy for my taste. No music at the pool and when we barely turned on our iPod to hear some light jazz background they asked us to 'turn it down' 3 times til it was off. Very nice place, but no activities, no energy, no fun. We're not partiers, but we enjoy something to keep us active and engaged.

We actually stayed next door to this property but visited several times & wished we had chosen the Hilton (we will for our next visit). Great location, service was fabulous. Pools amazing & huge with plenty of seating. The best beach area as they go to great lengths to make beach access easy & manicure the sand. Property was beautifully landscaped. Spoke with several guests who had nothing but fabulous comments.

We chose the Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Resort for our vacation in January 2018. I was impressed by the beautiful resort, the infinity pool and the super clean room with extra white sheets and towels. We had breakfast and dinner at El Meson restaurant and all staff here were very attentive and ready to make sure you had a great experience. During our dinner, our server Miguel exceeded our expectations by delivering outstanding service, attention to detail and for his friendliness. During breakfast, Delfino and his team were together making sure we always had a fresh cup of coffee to enjoy our meal. The pool staff were also ready to assist when we needed drinks and food. To top it off, Lupita our night housekeeper, prepared the room for us so after coming to the room from our dinner, the room was warm and cozy it was like coming to our own home. Thank you everyone from Hilton at los Cabos for creating memories we will remember forever. I can't wait to come back. Alba & David S.

My wife and I traveled with our 1.5 year old son to the Hilton Los Cabos for 4 nights in mid-January, staying in a La Vista Club Premier One-Bedroom Suite. Overall, the trip surpassed our expectations. We had an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we won’t hesitate to stay at this property again in the future. We think this hotel provided tremendous value for the price. What we liked: Beautiful property. The entire property is recently renovated with tasteful, good quality furnishings and no deferred maintenance. The furnishings, restaurants and common areas feel more like an independent boutique hotel than a Hilton hotel. Everything from the dramatic main entrance with its large fountain to the beautiful pool area looks and feels high quality. Excellent Service. Nearly everyone we interacted with was warm, engaging and friendly. We’ve never encountered such genuinely friendly people at a hotel of this size. We especially liked all of the wait staff, including at breakfast, at the high-end Velos restaurant, and at the pool. Great Room. We really liked our one-bedroom suite (room 6019), which included a generous living/dining room with a full-size table for 4 and a comfortable sofa, a nice bedroom with a very comfortable bed and separate circular loveseat, a full guest bath in the living room with shower, and a really nice master bath with dual sinks, toilet room, large tub and separate shower. We had our little guy’s crib in the bedroom, so it was a game changer for us to be able to use the living room and full guest bath after he went to sleep without disturbing him. The suite was really comfortable and enjoyable. Very Good Food. We really liked nearly all the food we ate on property. Our dinner at Velos was the overall best dinner we had while in Cabo - food was very good, but the service was way better than what we experienced during the dinners at Las Ventanas and at Palmilla on this trip. The breakfast buffet is really solid with an assortment of hot and cold food that had enough variety to keep us interested for 4 days. We enjoyed lots of fish tacos, ceviche, seared tuna and guacamole throughout the day at the pool and other restaurants. Uncrowded Feel. Even though the hotel was well occupied during our stay, we never had to wait in any lines or wait for seats. The breakfast room never felt crowded, and there were always available lounge chairs by the pool or overlooking the ocean. Minor Gripes: Balcony Lights. There is architectural lighting on the top two floors of the building that are controlled by the building. The La Vista Club rooms at the top of the building have wood shutters on the windows (not full curtains). It is impossible to completely block the balcony lights with the shutters, thus allowing light to glow in the room. This kept our baby up one night. It’s clearly enough of a problem that maintenance came to our room the next day to tape custom wood discs over the lights on our balcony so they wouldn’t disturb us (I can’t imagine the hotel would have these custom discs for any other reason than this). The lights should simply be shut off - the property looks just fine without them. La Vista Club. After four days, I’m still unsure of the value of the club. There is a private lounge off the lobby for La Vista Club rooms, but there’s very little offered in the lounge - seems like it exists just so the hotel can say they have a club room. Every evening they offer a different appetizer, but there’s only ever one type of appetizer - they should add a little more variety to the offerings. Also, the private La Vista area by the pool is overrated - Astrid, the pool butler is nice, but there’s friendly wait staff available anywhere you sit at the pool or at the beach. The free guacamole and small free cup of beer that’s passed out at 1pm every day in the private area seems to be the only real benefit that you don’t get for free if you sit anywhere else. Also, there seemed to be some amenities that other La Vista Club members got in their rooms that we did not get, such as a beach bag and a tequila amenity on arrival. Hilton Honors Gold members get free continental breakfast in a non La Vista room (gets upgraded to the full hot breakfast buffet if in a La Vista room), but I don’t think the breakfast benefit justifies the normal price premium for a La Vista room. Check-out. I was surprised to see that the front desk had somehow attached someone else’s credit card authorization to our reservation. As I checked out, I was asked if the bill should be settled to the master card on file.....I thought to myself that we don’t have a master card, so I asked to see the authorization that was stapled to our paperwork. Suzanne Turner (whom I’ve never met) will be glad that I didn’t let the hotel charge our entire stay to her card. Good reminder that it’s always important to look over the bill and credit card info at any hotel.

I booked this trip last minute and got a great deal here. Didn't really research the place but it looked nice enough. Went with my wife and we both loved the place. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Both pools are fantastic, the service was top notch, room was great, and the lobby bar is awesome. The beach is nice and relaxing with a great swimming area. Will definitely go back!
