The staff are very nice and helpful. The room was sufficiently stocked and very large. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was a good size. We enjoyed the pool and the restaurant had great food and an excellent view of the water. We will definitely be back!

Expensive paradise.

Beautiful beaches, but nothing you won't find elsewhere a lot cheaper. Six beers cost $52. Resort is also inundated with kids so not the place for romantic getaway. I won a trip through my business. Likely won't return.

Good stay, accommodating staff, but disappointed in Villa

My family and I have been to Harborside Resort several times and the overall experience was good but this visit we were disappointed in the condition of the Villa. First of all, I made a point to request a villa with a harbor view from the balcony. I was told the balcony faced the harbor and because we were on the fourth floor, we would have the view. We had a view of the pool and another building with tall Palm trees blocking the harbor view which was in the distance. Not exactly what I would call a harbor view. The villa did not seem to be one of the recently renovated villas and there were several maintenance and housekeeping issues. The kitchen was pretty well stocked but I wanted to cut an apple when I arrived and took a knife from the butcher block and it had dried food on it. Other knives were just as dirty, obviously not cleaned prior to our arrival. We told the front desk who were very nice but we did not receive replacement butcher block knives until the day we were leaving. The refrigerator door was positioned so it would hit the counter top so we had to pull hard and push hard to open and close the refrigerator door. A minor inconvenience but thought it was an odd design flaw. The master bedroom was nice and the bed very comfortable but the pillows are very flat and not very comfortable. The master bathroom was very large with only one sink and the hot water took a very long time to come on so I took a couple of cold showers and washed my face with cold water every morning. The shower door would not close so we would have had to take a shower with an open shower door but we did complain and maintenance people came in a timely manner to fix the door and hot water. My son and his friend slept in the guest room bed and said the mattress was very uncomfortable and my son's girlfriend woke up with a stiff neck. I sat on the mattress and agreed it was not a comfortable mattress and completely different from the mattress in the master bedroom. My other son slept on the pull out couch and said the mattress was actually pretty comfortable there. The staff were all very nice and responsive to most issues. The shuttle to Atlantis ran frequently and we never had a long wait. We bought groceries on the way to the Harborside on first day but be aware if the room is not ready the groceries will have to sit outside with luggage in the heat. Other than disappointing villa, we had a nice time but not in a hurry to return.

Just returned from the Atlantis and stayed at the Harborside resort on property. Were had 6 adults and 2 small children. We used Sandra Ferguson taxi service booked ahead and paid an extra to stop at a liquor store and a grocery store before getting onto the island. Liquor is expensive. We purchased cheap vodka at $9.00 bottle /$13.00 on the island. Beer was $49.00 a case / $60.00 a case (cash only on island). Drink at the resort are $9.00 beer and starting at $10..00 for mixed drinks. We packed soft coolers and brought our drinks with us daily. Get plastic cups from the resort day one and make ice daily to put in your coolers. The grocery store is expensive for food bring as much food as possible with you. Food: I packed 1 large suitcase filled with Pringles wrapped in bubble wrap, boxes of rice pilaf , quinoa, spaghetti, sloppy joe mix with the tomato paste, snack gold fish, popcorn to make, crackers ,tea bag s and coffee with filters. large cans of chicken salad, we packed snack for the kids and brought boxes of jello to make for the kids for snack. have everyone bring a thermos to fill with ice daily they provide refill water all over the resort so you won't need to buy bottled water. We used an omaha large styrofoam container and packed frozen hamburger patties with extra patties for taco salad and sloppy joes. hot dogs, cheese for snack and cheese for sandwiches, bacon, peperoni, sausage for sausage and peppers, meatballs to go with spaghetti, boneless chicken individual wrapped perdue so you can take out what you need., steak tips, I packed syrup and got pancake mix, butter, crisco spray, salad dressing for the taco salad,I baked cookies and packed them, duck tape the side and put your location on the side with your name food stays frozen all day. We ate off island at the Poop Deck great food (red snapper grilled great)and on the water front, taxi are expensive cost us $40.00 each way to get there 1 mile away, so ask ahead the price of the taxi ride. You can get your waterpark badges at the resort near the pool , take the bus over to the park get off at either the cove or the royal get your towels when you get there so you don't have to carry them you can get more than one per person. Spa is nice Go on the water rides first thing in the am, cruise ships bring over people and it get crowded, then around 4 pm it slows right down again open till 7 pm. Get an chair with an umbrella you will need it if full sun. chairs on the beach with tops go fast need to get them before 10 am. Bring lots of sun screen. Washer and dryer in the room We had the best time something to do for everyone, make sure when you first get there you walk the whole resort so you can see all it has to offer. I can't wait to go back. I had index card for the grocery store and everyone got a card so we could shop quick you will save if you get the food before you get on the island. They do offer a daily shuttle to the grocery store with a per person fee to go. Hope you can go soon and enjoy this wonderful place.

We always enjoy the Harborside Resort at the Atlantis and have been owners here for years. My biggest gripe with this timeshare company is that when we were sold our 1 Bedroom Premium unit, a rollaway unit was allowed and that is what my family needed, space for 5 guests. They have since changed that policy and no longer allow rollaway beds so the unit sleeps a maximum of 4 people. This is wrong, since this was not the deal we signed on for. Check-in is always late and requests for a room in any specific location or floor are almost always ignored. The maintenance fees on this property are very expensive and the management could be better. The good news is the rooms have been recently refurbished and all the staff working here were very nice. Overall I still love this property just not the bait and switch pulled by reducing the occupancy load of my unit.
