I was so disappointed in my stay at Grotto Bay. We were in building 8 so had a hike up the hill to get to the room. Then to go to lunch, the pool or what is referred to as the beach you had to go down several levels of steps. I was glad I had not taken my disabled mother with me as she would not have been able to walk to the room or the pool. I was also disappoint in the fact that tips are included in the all inclusive package but they have you sign a receipt at every meal that has a line for additional gratuity. There was a comedian one night and gombay dancers for five minutes another evening. That was the extent of the entertainment. I had so much more fun in Aruba

From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Grotto Bay Beach Resort's staff are attentive, friendly and very knowledgable. The property is beautiful. Our room was completely refurbished with Mahogany furniture, an excellent mattress, fine linens and a bathroom finished with Travertine tile. The view from our room was amazing - gorgeous Grotto Bay. We did not purchase the all inclusive plan. Instead, we ate at both the hotel's restaurants and local restaurants. The breakfast buffet, at Grotto Bay, was large and had multiple delicious entrees. Lunch was at the poolside grill and served sandwiches/salads. Dinner was in one of the formal dining rooms. In St. George(a short bus ride from the hotel), we'd highly recommend Temptations Bakery and the CV Cafe for breakfast. In Hamilton, Flannigans and Dockside have waterfront views and excellent pub style food. To get around, we purchased 7 day passes for both the bus and ferries. We traveled the entire island by public transportation, visiting historical sites, beaches and the main cities. For $56 USD, it was very inexpensive. Bermuda is a clean, beautiful, friendly island. It definitely ranks as one of the best places that we visited.

Grotto Bay is such a wonderful place and we have stayed there many times and will continue to return there in the future. They were so accomodating to all of our needs. The facility is beautiful and located near the airport with a bus-stop out front.

My family was extremely pleased with our stay at Grotto Bay. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Bermuda. The facilities were spotless, the service and food were great, and the pool and beach were very nice. The bus and ferry pass that was included with the package came in very handy. We are already talking about going back to Grotto Bay next year. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly. We found the same friendliness and cleanliness throughout Bermuda.

We loved the location of the resort which is close to the airport. We never heard the planes. We enjoyed everything about the resort. We did the all inclusive which we would recommend. This includes 3 meals/day, all drinks, transportation ( bus or ferry) and use of the non motorized sports( kayaks and snorkeling equipment). Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. There was also a nice mix of guests.

Bermuda is not the place to go in March, the weather was cold & rainy all week temps in low 60's with gale force winds, tried the pool once but too cold to enjoy, the jacuzzi was the highlight of the resort (because in was hot) but you froze getting to it & getting out of it. If not for the local city bus we would have nothing to do,did a lot of sightseeing because of the weather. I would not go back to Bermuda or this hotel. Also, the Apple rep was not existant, she met us at the airport that's all didn't see or hear from her for the rest of the week if I didn't check with the hotel desk,I wouldn't have known when we should be ready for pick-up for return trip.

Room was nice and clean. The grounds were nice and pretty. The staff was great! The visit to Crystal Cave was great and just a very short walk down the road. The food at the resort was better than average but not great. Disappointed in the chocolate lava cake because it did not have hot lava or any lava. The weather was nice and comfortable.

Very Unique & Awesome Resort

We just got back from Bermuda and really enjoyed our stay at the Grotto Bay Beach Resort. The caves on premise are very awesome and offer a unique experience. We treated ourself to one of the cave massages, this was a one of a kind experience and highly recommend it. The pool was heated, the beach was nice and the food offered in the restaurant was good. We did not do the all inclusive option so that we did not feel handcuffed to eat all of our meals here. The drinks were expensive so we ended up going to the gas station located right outside the resort and bought a bottle of Goslings and ginger beer (Dark N' Stormy ingredients) for less than the cost of two drinks at the bar. There are bus stops located right outside of the resort entrance, so transportation was very easy. The Swizzle Inn and Caves are a 5 minute walk. And there are more caves across the street at Tom Moore's Jungle. The room was nice, nothing spectacular, but clean and comfy. The only issue was that at night there was a very loud beeping noise that continued throughout the entire night. We were able to drown out the sound with a noise machine app and turning the AC unit on, but it was very annoying. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

There are many reasons why we keep coming back!

Staying here is just pure relaxation. Wonderful resort with a beautiful feeling. It's a welcome change from the huge mega resorts, yet has everything one could desire. The restaurants are amazing, the service excellent and the rooms spacious and well equipped. Everyone that works at Grotto Bay is just so friendly and approachable. Thanks for another great little getaway!

This resort is absolutely stunning; the all inclusive package was exactly what we were looking for in terms of service and quality! The beach activities were really fun to take advantage of and we loved spending time at the beach and heated pool! Only down side is being far from the ocean side beaches, but the transportation pss that is included does make them accessible, which was wonderful!

Ok I read alot of reviews on this place and decided to give it a go. I'm pretty sure this is the only all inclusive option resort in Bermuda. I came with my mom for 4 nights ,and really enjoyed it!! I don't really have much to say negative, just beware there's alot of hills, stairs all over especially to get to the pool and beach. The beach is so beautiful although small it was perfect ! We did the all inclusive option and I really feel it was well worth it ! The island is very expensive no matter what you do ,so we def got our money's worth since it included 3 meals, beverages, non motorized sports and a transportation pass. I was so full after eating, it was alot of food and every single meal was delicious, we never had a bad thing !! The rooms all have a spectacular view so it doesn't matter where you stay, you will still need to walk up or down hills to the main house where everything is! The staff were all so nice especially Nietra ,Asha, and Charles! There isn't much around except for a gas station and The Swizzler Inn which we had 1 meal at and it was good! I didn't realize this was the non busy time so alot of things are not open on the island like excursions, and places close early .There's cool caves right on the property that are so cool !.The weather was amazing at 73 degrees which was high for February they said ! I would def return, it's my 3rd time to Bermuda and I love it more every time!!
