Resort is beautiful and well maintained. As guest of Travel Club VIP we were afforded everything the resort has to offer including door to door club cart service, no reservation required at specialty restaurants. Private club and beach area. Staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you could possibly need / want. The staff is probably the best reason to return. The morning archery and target shooting are fun.

Very impressed so coming back again this year

Stayed for 2 weeks on a TUI All Inc trip across the UK October half term. This place is terrific. Very big with excellent staff, loads of top quality restaurants, good buffets if you are impatient, several pools and a fantastic beach. Used the gym daily and daughter had a spa treatment as a birthday present, she loved it but I thought it was on the pricey side. The whole place is well run, looks good, is well maintained and just very, very good. Its an hour from Cancun and about 20mins by the the local mini-bus to Playa del Carmen and tge Tulem ruins. Would we go, we are this year but self-booking via Netflights rather than TUI as they had no availability. This is by far the best All Inc we have ever stayed in even better than Azul 5's (see earlier reviews).

Amazing

Amazing hotel. You are able to relax or interact with staff. The food is very good and we have lots of restaurants a la carte to choose from, they have 2 buffet type restaurants with lost of different food. The beach is amazing, but staff needs to keep cleaning it more regularly. Overall is an amazing hotel to relax and enjoy the warm waters of the Caribbean sea

Nice resort but poor services with clients

PRO: The resort is a spectacular place full of greenery. a true nature reservation with animals, vegetation and structured for walking, relaxation and a lot of peace. The swimming pools are impressive, as well as the restaurants. the restaurants do not have too many variants and are not diversified food by day, but find delicious and well-cooked items. I expect the fruits to be more diversified, but the rainy season probably did not help. Beach is the most important force in the resort, even if algae are made to constantly clean the beach. The hotel's employees are the most cheerful I've ever seen. Extremely well-ordered and always smiling. The room in which I stood, in the Kantenah section, building 41 is clean, spacious and quiet. Far too far from the main attractions, but they are cars that come to take you as often as needed. MINUS: Unfortunately for the tourists who come to this resort only the beach, the excursions and the fabulous landscapes are a positive aspect. However, the attitude of the employees at the hotel reception, esspecialy, is disappointing. Very few understand English, almost nothing is done in English, you are not even offered help like umbrellas, cloaks in the event of rain. We are disappointed that both the site and the packages presented for all incusive facilities included, most of thrm, are no longer valid. I do not think it normal to be informed that at the spa you have included only Gym in the all inclusive package, and on the internet, and everywhere is written that you have sauna, steam bath. Just be onest and update the information. It rained 6 days out of 7 and even the indoor activities were not organized well. I asked five animators for playing cards or games, and everything that they’ve done was just to place me from one colleague to another. There is a lack of respect that in the rainy days, after you have given a lot of money to stay here, you do not feel as helpful as it is. I think communication and collaboration services with clients need to be improved. As with other resorts all over the world, you feel like you're glad to come to them in the resort, here was my birthday and they did not even send a ticket to your room to make you feel good. I repeat, only the employees in the restaurants and bars are the most friendly. Otherwise, if you are not Spanish, you have a lot to lose. I will definitely return to Mexico, but not necessarily at this hotel.

Beach was disappointment

The resort is nice and staff is friendly. Food was good and lots of choices. The rain kinda ruined it for me. I know there is nothing we can do about that. Due to the storms all week, seeweed was horrible. Not sure if it's bad when weather cooperates. I Have been to Rivera Maya area probably 10 times over the past 20 years. This is the second time its rained so much we can't enjoy the trip. If tides are rough, you can't swim ocean... Pool and beach activities are canceled (a lot of rain).... I know they stopped allowing you to swim after dark.... but now we can't walk the beach at night????? This was the only time it has not been raining. We always travel in June, and it has never rai ed so much rain untill 2 yrs ago and this trip. I come to this area for the beach. I can play in pools and eat fancy food cheaper in the states. Guess my biggest complaint is the beach.... Which is my #1 reason to come. And if Mexico is going to keep putting restriction on it, I'll start going to South Padre and Florida.
