Amazing first visit to mexico. The hotel was beautiful, lovely room, all very clean and well maintained. The food was beautiful too. Evening shows were excellent, very enjoyable to watch. Different kind of party every night. Oscar and the entertainment staff were Amazing, completely engaged and enthusiastic from start to finish, and really lovely too. Couldn't have asked for better.

My friends and I visited for a bachelorette party. We had a great time with each other as well as with the amazing staff. There were lots of activities at the White Sand pool throughout the day, and Oscar Josh and John really made them a blast not only for us but also for the other guests participating. You could tell that everybody really enjoyed their presence and it made the days by the pool that much better. We also got the chance to go to the Saturday night show and I was in awe by the whole performance. Seeing the beautiful Mexican dresses and dances for each state had me mesmerized. I am already ready to go back and we just left yesterday. The Resort was one of a kind and would highly recommend staying here!

I was reminded I hadn't posted a review so its a bit late We loved going to another hotel near by and thought it would be hard to beat, but the entertainment there finished by 10.30. Having read good reviews about the Palladium we thought we would give it a try. Good dance shows every evening the routines and effort they put in was amazing. After the shows live music in the lobby went on till 1-2am. The sitting was in the far end of the lobby around large pillars so a lot of the views of the band and people dancing was restricted, which was a shame. Very similar layout to the other Hotel both having a group of four Hotels Unfortunately You use to be allowed into the Rivera Hotel where I believe they had a late show and a disco this had just changed since we booked so we were very disappointed in the loss of this along with not being able to use the salt water lagoon pool. Tui our tour operator did not inform us of this so we were disappointed. They did how ever put on different party's but these ended at around 10.30. Monday white party on the beach with a fire show. It would be nice if people made the effort and wore white we did. Tuesday peace and Love party. Wednesday 70's 80's night. The other evenings were a bit flat but there was live music in the Colonial lobby. We stayed at the Colonial section. Our room was in a good location and not overlooked Very comfortable bed. Fridge wasn't plugged in and when my husband went to plug it in there was no socket just a hole behind the unit. Maintenance did come promptly to fix it. Also when the lights tripped never had such speedy maintenance before. Its a beautiful resort kept immaculately clean. Very well set out with water features and lagoons around the restaurant areas. Huge swimming pools but to deep at the Colonial so we went to the white sands adult pool and went to their lunch time buffet when we weren't at the beach. The beach has the Wow factor felt I landed in Paradise when I saw it soft sand and warm sea with lots of fish swimming around, comfortable loungers. One problem as there is no towels cards anymore people are to lazy to take the towels back so a lot look occupied when they are not. There was always a pile in the mornings from the day before. I often use to take loads back to the hut. No beach service either but not a problem to us as we like to get our drinks from the bar our self and No we don't take those huge mugs some take never saw the point when the beach bars are not far from wherever you sit The buffet food is good but not a lot of variety. I do like a bowl of soup as a starter but the soup was awful and thin I tried but never liked it. A craved pork joint was out every night although delicious but it would have been nice to have other meat say a turkey or beef joint. Not a lot of chicken was on offer and surprisingly not much fish that wasn't fried in batter. Never saw Salmon or plain white fish. Also a lack of vegetables only one bowl of hard pieces of carrot or broccoli. They did have corn on the cob but I didn't want to be chewing that dressed up would have been nice to have some loose corn and peas. Chocolate night at Hemingway’s on Thurs evenings. Seemed a strange time to have it as you wouldn't want it before of after dinner, 3pm in the afternoon would be better as a dessert after a light lunch Loved that reservations for the a la carte restaurants are not required, Never had to wait long for a seat On our last night we went to out room 10.30 to pack and found we couldn't get in. Thought they might have cancelled our keys early so went back to reception 10 min walk She gave us keys again saying they would work walked back still didn't so 2nd walk back she issued us with new keys back we went, still not working by this time it was 11.30 and 3rd walk back. I was getting distressed with the walking and time as she then said Maintenance stopped working and we wouldn't be able to get into our room. It ended up in a row us demanding something be done Security came back with a master key he couldn't get in either. Final at 1am they got Maintenance and he said the battery on the door wasn't working so went off for more I presume. It was handled really badly with no apology's and a very tiring night still having to complete our packing. It was a shame our otherwise enjoyable holiday ended that way

We traveled May 6-11. Very disappointed in our trip. We have gone to Mexico every year and were clearly spoiled by previous hotel stays. This hotel is huge, 4 hotels on one ground so plan on walking a lot. Didn't see many animals, mostly cats... one had just had a litter - please neuter them! The 'jungle' are was just a bunch of trees, the grounds were not maintained well and people left trash everywhere. They did not require towel cards so people were getting lots of towels and not taking them back, you would see them stuffed in planters and all over the place, guess this is why they would run out of towels and you had none! There were no waiters on the beach so plan to get everything for yourself. I assume the service was bad because people don't tip at this restaurant. Didn't care for having to get dressed up for each meal, we were on a vacation in the hot tropics, if we wanted to wear a tank top it should be allowed. The food, the buffet was the same thing everyday, disappointed there was no fish especially considering where we were. The Brazilian restaurant was great! But restaurants are spread out so plan to walk. White Sands hotel side was very nice, quiet, but better if you only want to stay at pool since the beach was far. The boat ride around was great & very beautiful.... was the only beautiful thing about the hotels. The beach was nice, but plan on getting there at 7 or 8 am for a towel and chair. The water was amazing, clean beach and cool seeing the stingrays in the ocean by shore. Again, no waiters though so plan on walking to the bar. Luckily they had 3 bathrooms located near the beach. The entertainment was lacking. Fire show was ok, wasn't impressed with anything else. We tried putt putt one day, however it was the worst I've seen. Not maintained, trash and rocks everywhere. You could not even play because of the worn down green and rocks. Day 1: We arrived and did not get the room we requested. Not really sure how they expect a married couple to sleep in 2 beds! We stayed on the Colonial side. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Day 2: Ate the food down by beach and got food poisoning! Very bad day! Went to dinner with my husband and tried to eat something and found hair in my food! How gross is that. Of course after this day I didn't want to eat at all. Day 3: Changed rooms to a king size bed. No one told us we were moving to kiddie land. Was kept up past 12 am every night from screaming kids. Day 4: spent day at the beach, Probably the only good day that nothing bad happened. Day 5: After we got back from the beach to the room, had no wash towels. Waited 3.5 hours for towels to shower. Had a hard time getting the shower turned on too. I didn't care for having to step into a bathtub to shower either. Day 6: Barely got the shower on again for us to get ready and leave. Took about 5 minutes with my husband finally getting it on. There was always low water pressure also. Vanessa at the front desk was great, she did what she could, but unfortunately there is no changing what happened. In all the years I've gone to Mexico I've never gotten sick. With that alone I will never stay at this hotel again. Plus it was too large, no animals and grounds not well maintained. We also saw bats come out of the church on night.

Amazing Place and Fun!!

We had the best time going to this property from our area at TRS. We would come here for night life and dinner. Lots of awesome shows. The Chic has some first class Vegas Style variety dinner shows. Everyone in our group enjoyed the show a lot.
