Let me start the review by saying that this is THE TYPICAL college student spring break resort. During the month of March its literally like a college kid daycare. Non-stop partying and drinking. I would try and avoid this resort during those times if you are not between the ages of like 18-24ish because you'll hate your life and not enjoy your relaxing vacation. Being a college student, the atmosphere was great...lively young crowd, loud music and lots of partying and dancing. There is however a lot of things I hated about the resort. For instance, when I was reading reviews saying the food was "bad", I thought I eat college food everyday so it can't be that bad...but trust me, I think I was eating dog food for the entire week I stayed there. The ONLY good restaurant my group went to was Ibiza and its super hard to get into because it is always busy. The food gets a NEGATIVE 2 out of 5 rating! Moving was literally the hunger games to get a drink a this resort...there were so many lines and you either had to flirt hardcore with the bartender or have a dollar in your hand to even get acknowledged. Not to mention all the alcohol was all in plastic bottles and literally the equivalence to Vlad. The rooms were actually a lot nicer than I expected after reading all the reviews. The check in and check out process takes you about HALF YOUR FREAKING VACATION so be prepared for that. Overall, this is the typical spring breaker resort with crappy food and crappy alcohol but I don't regret going here because my friends and I still had a great time...and who knows, maybe you'll even lose some weight when you're here because you will be so repulsed by the food and not eat it!!! :-)

Beautiful location with questionable plumbing and average food and service

The look of the hotel was beautiful and lots to do. But the food was average at best, the staff at the restaurants and organization was poor (they were either not open when you would want to eat or couldn't even get in for an hour and the staff was rude), the rest of the staff outside of the restaurants were great. The water pressure was up and down and you better watch out for being scorched or frozen in the shower and most of the public restrooms were a mess. The drinks were weak also. It was fine if you were just doing a quick weekend trip and just need a bed to sleep in, but would not recommend for a longer luxury vacation.

Spring Break Resort

My friends and I stayed here March 2017. Its a legit spring break resort. exactly what youre looking for. BUT couple things, there is a $30 charge under 25 years old that you do not get back. You have to pay for wifi, and don't try and share it with someone (its a 2 for $40 deal ONLY 5 days) Theyre suppose to send you a code so you can share but it was never sent. Our rooms were not ready at 4pm so we waited, and then were told that we had to stay at another hotel for the first two-three nights. but we argued enough and got two rooms upgraded in the Pyramid..problem was there was 8 of us and one room only had a King bed. ***argue to get your room because they will give in, took us about 30-40 minutes to get it. by the 3rd day we had our 3rd room in the Grand(where we were originally to stay). I understand it is busy time to come to this resort but having us pay the money we paid then telling us we have to go to another resort is not ok. If you are staying in the Grand and want a black wrist band it costs an extra $160. Once we were settled it was a good resort, exactly what youd expect for spring break. Good food, limited water. Almost best to just buy a pack from the gift shop. extra fees when we did the Catamaran excursion. Also safe boxes cost 8$ a day Besides all that, i do recommend if youre looking to party.

The worst

Literally the worst resort we could have stayed at. We had a terrible experience. We had a group of 12 staying for spring break, and they told us they had overbooked the resort by 500 reservations. They made us stay somewhere else, however they did accommodate us by paying for our stay elsewhere. The staff makes you tip them, even though it is supposed to be all-inclusive. We had to tip all the staff just to get service. The food is also terrible.

College Spring Break

The Grand Oasis is everything you expect for spring break! Great vibes a lot of drunk college kids. Do not come here with your family during prime spring break times because they will be exposed to alot of stuff you probably do not want them to see. The rooms were clean and well kept. The staff did their best, but there was a lot of people to attend to so it takes VERY long. The food here is AMAZING. Everyone says do not eat the food or water but I found it great. Get to breakfest early because the line gets so long. The sports bar has amazing food during the afternoon. Go to Ibiza during the day, only place you will find Steak! The chinese place was great too. Do NOT EAT THE PIZZA that they sell outside. It may be good in the moment but it will really do a number on you the next day. I was sick and shaking. Overall great spring break trick if you are looking for that wild spring break resort.
