This was our first trip to Cancun and our first experience with an all-inclusive resort. The grounds were beautiful, clean and well maintained. Our room was nice, clean and the view/balcony was all that I had hoped for. We had upgraded to an oceanfront room and were not disappointed. The pools were clean and sparkling. Spent most of our time in one of the beautiful pools. Just a couple of things to note - if you are not a late night party person, request a room on the quieter side of the resort (the side not right beside the Beach Club). We were right beside the Beach Club and the music kept going into the wee hours of the morning. But, if you like that scene, you will definitely enjoy it. Luckily, we were able to fall asleep "to the beat" of the music. Food - it depends on what your expectations are going in. If you're expecting haute cuisine, you'll be disappointed. The food is not bad at all but seems to be about average. There were a couple of swim-up bars which were awesome. I spoke with a couple who had been traveling there for years and they indicated some of the other resorts had swim-up snack bars as well. Wasn't really a big deal to us though. And, yea, it was hot and the A/C wasn't always as cool as we are used to back home but, hey, it was July in Cancun! :-) More>

It was OK

We just came back from 5 night vacation at this hotel. Overall it was OK since we didn't expect anything from this place. Food quality is average. This place has two places for breakfast to eat and both of them get very, very busy with line for 20 minutes to wait. Also, both places run out of food once in a while. So, if you want selection and no line get there before 8 AM. We don't like pool and tried to spend most of the time on the beach. Their beach has very few umbrellas for shadow. Again, if you want your space under umbrella get their before 8 AM. Pool area was very crowded all the time when we walked by. Half of the stuff is very friendly and working hard, when the other part is not so friendly and doesn't do what they supposed to do. On the second day of the trip we had to ask our fridge to be restock with water, soda and beer. Even after third time, our concierge tried to contact proper person had no luck and to had share his water with us. Another day, both door keys stop working and we couldn't get to our room after 1 AM and had to go to the main building to activate them again. Some bulbs didn't work, we complained about shower which had running water from the facet and shower head. Nothing was fixed and we said ... whatever, if they don't care about quality, we are not going to spend time to fix it. So, if you don't expect good quality, you might OK staying there. Also, if you are a wine drinker, forget it. Even they have wines on the menu for extra charge they are still spoiled as house wine. Seems like their wine do not storage properly during very hot season. Hotel has WiFi. In our room we had interруption for the first two days. We would not come to this place. More>

Good fun!

This time i only went to the Oasis on a day pass to see Juan Magan, well, the whole day was really fun. We arrived around 10:30, we started with the wrong foot because the women at the lobby that would give us our passes would be really rude and i mean rude! i didn't want them to ruin my day so i decided to just let it go and move on, the moment went in we were starving so we went to eat, the service at the restaurants was great, people were always smiling and nice to us and the whole time we spent in the hotel we saw great service. The drinks at the pool bar were excellent, delicious to say the least and they were the BEST of the whole visit, the bar tenders were so kind to everyone and eager to please. If i had a complaint, and i do, before i got my tickets online i asked on Facebook the time Juan Magan was supposed to come out because i had other things planned for my day, they replied he would be out on stage at 4 p.m. but he did not come out until 7 p.m. Other than that everything else was fine. Looks Grand from the outside but the small details are missing. Terrible Check-in Check-Out process. Terrible Wi-Fi

We arrived at this hotel on the 22nd of Oct 2015 and it looked amazing from the outside. Very large and very exclusive. Then we were told to go to the concierge office and where we were greeted with free food and a nice air conditioned office. The check in process was very long. Even though there must have been about 10 staff there none of them seemed to know what they were doing. We were also told that our rooms were not ready yet and to come back to the concierge office in an hour. It was early evening maybe 4pm. So there is no excuse not to have the rooms ready by that stage. We had booked 3 twin rooms as there was 6 guys in the group. When we were eventually shown to our rooms all 3 rooms were double rooms. First issue. I went and mentioned this to the concierge and was informed that there was nothing the hotel could do as they were the only rooms available and it would be the following day before we could move rooms. I asked what time to come back and was told 2pm. Middle of the day eating into my time in Cancun. Not happy. Came back the following day at 2pm. Was told that it wasnt going to be possible to move rooms until 3pm. Asked to come back at 3pm. Arrived back at 3pm and had to go through the whole process of checking in again. Nightmare. Once this issue was resolved things got better. The hotel in general is clean, nice and comfortable. There was a big pool out the back and there was music playing and a good party atmosphere. This was right on the beach so that added to the atmosphere. The food in the hotel was pretty good. We had the all inclusive package so ate and drank for "free". This was handy for not having to carry cash. You are given a wrist band and that is what the staff look for once you are in a restaurant or at the bar. The hotel staff outside the concierge office were very friendly and helpful. Just to also note. The WI-FI is absolutely terrible. You get one free WI-FI code per room and then anyone else has to pay for it to access. It's the worst WI-FI in the world. I would not mind paying if it was good. But it was seriously poor. Overall this hotel has the capability to be excellent. It's just the little things that were annoying or caused inconvenience. If these things were resolved then I think it would be a very good hotel. More>

Not worth the $

The service was absolutely terrible. The staff members simply don't care about you and you literally have to beg to get served. The service was very slow everywhere. Plus, it didn't feel like an "all included" because you have to pay so much more than the original price. The rooms were fine. The food was ok. The beach was very nice. The entertainment at the pool was good. More>
