This hotel just turned all inclusive. Every restaurant was 5-star + quality! Not the cheap buffet food of our resorts. Top shelf alcohol, Grey Goose Vodka, Sapphire Gin, Cabo Wabo Tequelia, and more! Lunch would have been $70, but all-inclusive. Dinner $120 a person, but all-inclusive. Get there soon before they realize they can't sustain this level of elegance.

The rooms could use a refreshment, jacuzzi was a just big tub and tv control did not worked. That being said the food and the drinks were great. Property very nice. Not that close to Cabo San Lucas. Might come back.

Good All-Inclusive, Family-Friendly

My husband and I stayed here for a friend's wedding in June. The hotel is nice, and very reasonably priced. With the exception of certain wines, all food and drink items are included in the price. The food was hit-or-miss. We had some decent items, and many average items. But it's easier to be okay with average-quality food when you're not paying for it. I particularly liked the mexican food at breakfast, though items ran out quickly toward the end of the breakfast shift. We did find the resort to be a bit crowded. Service was reasonable, but went faster if you tipped well. At times it was difficult to find pool chairs together, and the chairs were very close to each other. We strongly preferred the beach, which was much quieter. However, we were traveling at a peak vacation time (late June), so it may be better at other times. The resort is certainly family-friendly, which can be a good or a bad thing, depending on the type of trip you're looking for. If you're traveling with a group that includes children, I'd highly recommend it. There were a lot of families with multiple children, and the pool hosted some fun, kid-friendly activities during the day. I would probably choose a different resort if you're looking for a romantic getaway, or recommend going during the off-season. However, there were a few adult-focused areas, like the adult-only pool/bar, and the black lemon. The black lemon was actually extremely fun for us and our late-20's group of friends. Lots of dancing, a lively bar (livelier some nights more than others), and fun music. The resort also had live music by the fire pit a few nights, and that was enjoyable as well. The rooms left a bit to be desired. Housekeeping was prompt but a bit inconsistent in terms of stocking the minibar. The mattresses were quite uncomfortable, and sheets were scratchy. Fortunately, the walls seems to be thick, so we were not disturbed by our neighbors. Also wanted to note that we felt VERY safe the whole time (both at the resort and outside of it, actually). The private beach is wonderful, and the resort is set very far back from the main roads, through a series of roundabouts. There's no way anyone could just happen upon it. Overall, an enjoyable experience, but would recommend more for families than couples, or going at a less popular time for a quieter experience.

Great experience.

Hotel was great. Food was great. Great staff. Liked that there were 6 pools. We stayed mostly at the adult pool where there wad a swim up bar. Cocktails were good and the bar staff was friendly. We also enjoyed the view of the ocean and the somewhat swimmable beach.

Maybe the best "All Inclusive" thus far. Outstanding

On our first day here, a fellow guest, who had been to this resort 3 times before, asked us "For an all inclusive, is there ANYTHING else that they could do to improve this place? I don't think so..."I would have to agree, after just spending 8 nights there. The grounds are madly meandering and manicured, the multiple pools are pristine and quiet. The food is exceptional and there isn't a corner of the property that hasn't been attended to and beautified. You could walk around here all day and just take in all the stunning sights, sounds and smells. Firstly, this is very family orientated. There was little in the way of drunken, loud louts or banging beats on the speakers, although one family annoyed most other guests by bringing their own tunes and speakers to the pool. They had a collective "hard stare" from most other guests! Secondly, although the name may imply a hotel for visitors solely from the US, that is most definitely not the case. The majority of guests were Mexican families and this was also reflected in the designs in the common areas, the music, the ambiance and...above all...the food. Which, I may add, is truly exceptional. This is one area where the hotel stands out. Other All Inclusive hotels have a "mass produced, westernized" feel to them, specifically those in the Dominican and the Mayan Riviera. The food is frequently simply re-heated from a central processing source, and thus it has all the appeal of airplane food without the flavour or plastic forks. In the Grand Fiesta, the restaurants are all very individual, and all cook your food to order, and every menu has a very Mexican twist to it. Even the Sushi bar. The breakfast, which is a buffet style feed, has odd little Mexican twists as well, such as a coffee infused with cinnamon and citrus, a spicy shellfish broth and a "taco and fajita" corner offering fresh and uber spicy creations. On Sunday mornings, one of the waiters will spontaneously break into an Operatic Aria if encouraged.... So a long way from the burger, pizza and reheated hot dogs of other all inclusives; This is "all inclusive" that feels like a personalized, gourmet extravaganza. Very high end, very individualized, and don't expect mass produced, rapid rubbish. You may have to wait for your chef to prepare your dish, but, my, is it worth it. And in this sense, the resort definitely has a more Latin American feel than most other resorts we've been to. What also makes the place stand out, head and shoulders above the rest, is the staff. Never have I seen such hard workers, such happy workers and such attentive workers. Always smiling, always gracious and exceptionally helpful, this factor, plus the high end food, makes you feel like you you really MUST pinch yourself as you must be dreaming....surely somewhere THIS good must come with a higher price tag? No...it is just paradise. Enjoy it. I could go on for hours. The place was truly THAT good. However, praise must be made for the 3 days of the Hurricane e that hit. Although probably rehearsed in the past, when Hurricane John his the resort, the staff stepped up a gear, moved all breakables away overnight, moved restaurants inside with minimal fuss, and continued smiling and serving throughout. Once the Hurricane had passed, all was normalized, again, within hours and service was returned to normal. I saw workers grafting through the night on the cabanas, loungers, trees, grounds and plants, happily singing to themselves and asking how my stay was going. What class and what lovely people. We upgraded to "Grand Club" level, which was not too much more money, but gives you access to the Clubhouse (ie food and drink all day long in a private room) and access to a smaller, quiet pool. Its well worth it, and JUST DO IT! The kids thought they were Royalty simply because they could go to the clubhouse anytime they wanted, and the quieter pool was away from the couple who insisted on bringing their banging' beats with them wherever they went! So, to EDUARDO, the on site manager, who helped upgrade us ( and then upgraded us FURTHER (for a fee) to a Master Suite....oh boy, WAS THAT WORTH IT and we are SO GRATEFUL to him for this. It truly made our holiday) WE REALLY REALLY THANK YOU. We have written to him, privately and personally, to say this, but I would be amiss if I didn't single him out here. I know this will bore you all, but it really IS the staff who make this place. How they smile and laugh all day is beyond me, and I genuinely think it reflects the happiness that this resort exudes. So, please take a bow all of the following, although singling out just a few people makes me sad as EVERYBODY was phenomenal: Oscar by the pool and Oscar in the Blu restaurant, Javier and Jose in the breakfast restaurant, Dennis (the menace!) at the front lobby, Ricoalberta (did I spell that right, Rico?!) at the Peninsula , Fernanda at the Blu, Alan the magnanimous boss and host at the Mexican, and.....especially and exceptionally...Carolina who we saw everywhere and who became such a lovely friend. She knew out names, our room number, our seating preferences, and all within a few days of meeting us. What a lovely lady. A chef came out to say hello to me from the Peninsula restaurant and to give me some bread to feed the fish by the shore. THANK YOU. The chef in the Blu introduced me to all of his fellow cooks and that was a lovely, personal touch, yet I have ungraciously forgotten the gentleman's name. We really felt like family at the end of this week, and we very sad to leave This is the only "All Inclusive" to which I would return, and I would do so in a heart beat.
