This is an excellent resort! I would recomend it to everyone. The only thing is if you want to sleep in don't be in building H because it is right beside the playground and you will here the kids screaming and laughing.

Will not return here went with my family and roomkeepers were disrespectful flirting with the husbands but guess you can't expect proper work ethics from roomkeepers. Then at the end of our visit the hotel charged extra fees for no reason after I had already paid for the stay online previously. To top it off we hadn't even officially left yet when the roomkeeper kept forcing herself in to prep room even after I had asked them to wait until we were gone. Just plain rude and ghetto. Next time staying somewhere else.

Our second visit to El Cid Marina Beach and staff was wonderful as always. Just wish they had real butter, not margarine. Also heard they had signed an exclusive deal with Dos Equis beer so no more Bud Light, Pacifico or Corona beer.

Great food and great staff

From arriving, the Cid staff were friendly and polite, always with an smile. We felt really welcome. The way the hotel, pools, beach and restaurants are distributed is great, because even though the hotel was full, it never felt crowded.

Fun, friendly and relaxing sun filled holiday!

This was our first time at El Cid Marina & Beach Hotel - it won't be our last! We loved staying at the marina. Of all the El Cid Hotels in Mazatlan - this one works best for us as we also like to boat/sail. The staff at the hotel and beach were exceptional. La Terrazza's food and service is exceptional!

Another Great Stay!

I have been to El Cid Marina and Yacht Club three times and my wife six times - three with me and three with some of our children. We truly enjoy the Marina and Yacht Club. The facilities and grounds are top notch - always neat and clean - very well taken care of. The staff that attends to our room does a fantastic job. We like the Marina because it is a bit more quiet than El Moro. We take the shuttle from the Marina to El Moro and then hit the beach and restaurants from there. We chose not to do all inclusive because it gives us the opportunity to get out into the city and try some really cool places. We ate at Ponchos (both locations), Ricos, Alegro, and Mary's - and we enjoyed all. If there is a down side - and I totally get this - it is with the continued "pressure" to attend a presentation. We had to say no a number of times (because we are happy with what we have) and finally had to unplug the phones in our room because the calls requesting we attend a presentation began at 8:00 a.m.! All together a great stay and we will return - and we will be unplugging the phone in our room as soon as we arrive :)
