This is my 3rd year of ownership at El Cid Resorts. My friends, family and I have been coming to the Marina El Cid and have fallen in love with it. The staff here are amazing. I recommend this resort to everyone.

A trip to the marina was a vacation done right. No worries, great people, great food, and lots to do if you want to. You could stay at the pool if you wanted or explore all day. it truly was the vacation that you could choose to enjoy the way you wanted to. Confident every day that the resort would spoil you every night. I hadn't been in years and it was much better than expected!

Another great vacation!

We are beyond happy! Second time here (and we have traveled a lot!) and this resort offers everything you can dream of! The bar staff is amazing!! Even remembered our names after a year since our last visit! A huge thank you to Calypso, Jose Juan, Adrian, Gerardo, Esau, David and big chief Carlos for their incredible service and for making our holidays so memorable.

i had not visited Mazatlan in 18yrs, going back this time was more about tranquility& nostalgia. I chose this property based on reviews- however I was skeptical because I normally choose a hotel on the beach. FYI- hotel is on the beach- the ferry took seconds to get to the private beach. For starters the staff greets you upon your arrival as if they had been waiting just for “you”. The hotel gives a feeling of staying in a property of private villas vs a crowded hotel of 100’s of rooms and floors. We chose the All-Invlusive and got our moneys worth in the consumption of liquor (They offer top brands) The food was some of the best we’ve had for a hotel/resort. When choosing an all inclusive you kind of expect mediocre- but not so at this resort. Based on the reviews we read we had our own expectations- but nothing prepared us for the kind gestures our cleaning lady “Olivia Vazquez “. Day 2 she decorated our kitchen with Welcome Balloons. And one morning she came to greet me & wanted to know if my room was to my liking. And the night before we left she went the extra mile and decorated our room to a romantic scene. We LOVED it- that was a FIRST for us. Thank you again to El Cid Marina and all it’s wonderful staff. We will definitely come back!!!
