Our room was very close to the pool and bar area and was loud and very uncomfortable until around 1 am. The music was right under our room and people at the outdoor bar were very loud. We found out there was another building near the adult pool that was more quite and much better.

The beach gets a good only because we can't swim there, no issues really, very clean. We only have one complaint the marketing people and the timeshre pushing in the hotel we said NO but it was continuous. It was only until I told the apple rep did it stop but we advoid that area of the hotel. In fact we never checked into the front desk instead we were routed to the marketing people to check in. That was wrong after having issues with our plane and were delayed 4 hours getting there. This is our only complaint. Then she told us we would be better off at the Sandles resort for adults only! No we had no problems with the kids and had an awesome time at Dreams. We will be going back.

We loved our vacation. It was gorgeous and the people went above and beyond in service. The food was fabulous. Restaurants were unique and the food top quality. Two negatives to be aware of: 1. Rooms not soundproof. Could hear neighbors. And one night there was a band at the pool playing loud until 11:00pm. (We had to get up early the next morning.) 2. You cannot swim on the beach. The pool made up for it though. One thing: Do NOT do the time share presentation. It is not worth the free things they offer you.

Hotel was beautiful, kept clean. Staff very friendly, bilingual. During off season, they rotate what restaurant are open. Unfortunately, buffet was only open 1 of 6 days, being vegan, I had planned on eating from the salad bar. This limited my choices greatly. Minibar not restocked daily, and they removed curtains before our last day which was strange.

We stayed at Dreams Los Cabo's for our honeymoon. We arrived a day or two after one of the worst tropical storms they have seen in over 10 years, so our first impression was not that great. The resort was working at "60%" according to the staff at check in. We are very laid back people and understood the circumstances. Upon check in, we were told they needed to put a $100 hold on a credit card for incidentals, which we were fine with. Until I got an alert on my phone saying that they placed a $450 hold, not $100! They also barrade you with their "Vacation Club" as you check-in and try to get you to buy into it immediately. Initially the water in the shower was brown then cleared within seconds. And then each had seen better days as well. There were trees and debris everywhere. I'm assuming both were from the storm. That being said, the staff and entertainment were excellent! They worked so hard to get the resort back to 100% operational. The food was decent, but they tried to sell you bottles of expensive wines that were not included. We had a great time but just had to stay on our toes more than we had hoped.

We took a short getaway anticipating a 5 star experience. To our disappointment, it was only a fair stay. The food and service was not the quality I had experienced through my apple vac stay in Akumal Bay MX stay in July. Will return to Cabo but will definitely stay somewhere else. The property is pretty, nice views. Too bad food and restaurant service was poor. The highlights were our waiter at Oceana named Bruno and our barista at the outdoor cafe.

We booked this trip as a "last minute getaway" just three weeks prior to leaving. For the money is was a pretty good deal. The beach is beautiful but you can not swim or even wade into the water. The hotel staff said if you get in the water there you will get out in Cancun! There are large breaking waves and a strong rip tide. It is beautiful to look at and listen to the waves but if you are set on swimming in the ocean you will be disappointed. Overall it is your standard all-inclusive. The food could be improved but you won't starve. The staff are all wonderful. One thing we didn't expect was to be ushered aside right after check in for what they call a "overview of the property". It ends with you giving them $20 and committing to show up the next morning for breakfast and a commitment to "listen to a presentation" about their rewards club, which they assure you is NOT a timeshare presentation. Oh, and you have to bring an I.D. And a credit card. We were so hot and tired when we arrived we just went along with it. The next morning they call to remind you to bring the credit card and I.D. My husband asked why they needed the I.D since the hotel had all our information and said we would not be bringing a credit card or paying them any money. We were out $20 but it was worth it. I don't know if they are part of the hotel staff or not but it was a very sour start to our vacation. They did leave us alone after that. We were just not prepared for that assault upon arrival and thought we did great avoiding that whole seen at the airport only to get hit again. We have stayed at other all inclusive which I would rate higher just due to better food and more upgrades. On the positive side it is a fairly small resort and there were always plenty of chairs and it was nice not to have to make reservations for restaurants and be able to just show up when you were ready to eat. Reservations and everything through Apple worked out fine.

Excellent Stay at Dreams Cabo

Loved the resort! The infiniti pool was amazing-I could spend every minute of the day there. Best restaurant was the seaside grill. Jose ran a tight ship, Elaine helped to be sure all guests were seated quickly and had a nice meal. I wish I could remember all of our servers, Alexis, Hugo, and Mod gave great service. Our room was big and the balcony offered great views. I was disappointed that we couldn't go into the ocean, though I did know that in advance. The evening Mexican dinner was my favorite with the mariachi band and other performers-you definitely don't want to miss that one. The pirate dinner was also great. I wish there had been a couple other evening shows, though watching the set-up for these two, I see how much work went into getting it prepared. Hugo did a great job as the mc for the events! Great stay at Dreams Cabo-highly recommend it!

This was a great-quick trip!! The resort was clean, staff was very courteous. The 4th of July entertainment was excellent. Daily activities lacked for adults-"water aerobics" was listed as one and the entertainment for that was Zumba standing on the water landing-not actually in the water. It was wonderful not needing reservations at the restaurants-the 3 of us got in right away each meal. The World Café for breakfast was our favorite-especially the Smoothie bar, Bloody Mary and mimosa bar!! I was not happy that our reservation was made for 2 queens beds and when we arrived there was not any available unless we upgraded for another $120/nt, which I did not feel that I should have absorbed that on top of what we had already had a reservation for. To accommodate us they brought us an roll-a-bed. Played golf at the Campestre San Jose-amazing Jack Nicklaus course. Had to purchase a collared shirt for my daughter since the concierge did not pass onto us the exact dress code. The cab drive there was $25 each way for a 15 drive. The pool was very relaxing and music was mixed which we enjoyed, lounge chairs and towels were nice! The beach is beautiful but the sand is very rough (last year we went to Cancun and the sand was much more easier to walk in). The Apple Vacations transfers went very smooth. The resort is not a huge one, but certainly one that you can easily get around and make choices for meals. The spa is pricy, but very good and accommodating.

The van shuttle from the airport was great and we were greeted at the hotel with smiles and great service. We did receive the typical time share offer after checking in at the hotel, but we were more interested in the beach. Once we got into the room, out bags were brought up, we only had carry on and were disappointed that both suitcases had been opened and rearranged. This had to happen at the hotel because our bags were with us 100% until we arrived. We asked Luis, who removed our bags from the shuttle, why our bags had been searched and he appeared like a deer in the head lights. No resolution or apology. The room was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the ocean, although we had to close our patio door around 4am when staff began moving and setting tables in the restaurants below us. The service was great and we were treated to an amazing farewell meal by Sabrina at Seaside Grill of fresh Sierra and Mahi Mahi. The drink service was very good and there were plenty of pool chairs and good access to beach chairs and shade. The top shelf drinks are a bit of a misnomer as it appeared that the Crown Royal bottle had been reused, but they did have a good selection. The entertainment was very good and certainly better than any other resorts i have visited and i was pleasantly surprised at the variety each night.

Dreams Los Cabo's was epically disappointing! We traveled with a large group and several of our party members got sick. Additionally upon checking out they charged me an extra $103 dollars because our 9 year old got sick on the sheets! The only food worth eating was the breakfast buffet, the service staff only waited on you if you gave them tip money and they allow people to reserve lounge chairs starting at 4:00 am, so never once were we able to sit poolside! Upon checking out we were told no manager was on property and they would contact us soon, but guess what?? No one has reached out! Not to mention we were woken up every night to groups parting and our kids were served beverages with booze, .....We would like the hotel to be aware of how sick our party was to ensure it does not happen to others!!! Do not book Dreams Los Cabo's.

Had another great week at Dreams. This year our group expanded by 2, after hearing how great it was last year. Big thanks and high fives to the entertainment crew. Daily Yoga classes with Julio were the perfect way to start our days. Julio, Hugo and Rolfy kept both kids and adults happy with all sorts of activities. Poolside, Luis, Elsa, Octovio and Manuel were all very attentive and bent over backwards to make our experience perfect. We will be back again next year,

Our family of 4 stayed at Dreams for 7 nights on an all inclusive package. We paid a lot for the package and expected 5 star service. We were disappointed. The food quality and service varied significantly, depending on the restaurant we went to. In the Italian restaurant, my daughter ordered cannoli and got a tiramisu for dessert. At the same restaurant, I ordered 3 appetizers ( which were very small) and had the waiter question me on the quantity of food I was ordering. The restaurant where the buffet was served was closed for a few meals with no notice advising of the closure. There was no conditioner in our bathroom and when I asked for some conditioner, I was charged $3. I was also charged $1 for a toothbrush. I am pretty sure that even a 3 star or 2 star hotel in the US would offer those items on a complimentary basis. We did have good meals at the steak restaurant and had excellent service by the pool and at the French restaurant. When we checked out, there were 7 charges on our invoice that I did not recognize. The invoice was in Spanish so I didn’t understand the description for the charges; I just saw a total. On inquiry, those 7 charges were donations to a charity, which we were told were voluntary. The invoice was certainly misleading. All in all, I have had better food and service at lesser resorts.

Nice hotel, some great staff!

Nice hotel, rooms and facilities were VERY clean which was really nice. No bugs!! at all!! We loved that part. Not a large hotel, there were only two pools, an activities pool and a adults only pool that was very nice and quiet. Biggest downside is that although the beach is pretty, because of the undertow you cannot go into the ocean. The staff at this hotel was very nice and helpful, especially Franco, a waiter from the french restaurant Bordeaux was great. He showed a genuine caring concern for the people he was serving and was extremely nice and pleasant!
