Family of four visited in late May. This was our 3rd all inclusive and we enjoyed this resort the most. Nice resort, good food, great staff. Fantastic pools but you can't swim in beautiful ocean due to waves (though we knew that when booking). We would highly recommend this resort. Most all inclusive resorts charge younger children (12+) as adults so unfortunately we can no longer make sense of paying the adult price for kids that don't drink or eat like adults. That's very disappointing but all too common with all-inclusive resorts. They need to change this policy.

We had the most relaxing vacation. The food was great. We loved that the resort had restaurants instead of buffets for all our meals. A special shot out to LUIS BARBOZA for being the best server ever!! He made our stay amazing. Our drinks were never empty. And he always brought us what ever we wanted. We truly appreciated his dedication to making our experience very memorable.

The write up about the hotel said it had a 'swimmable beach' and that is one reason I chose it. It was not swimmable and I spoke with the front desk about it.

Our room was very close to the pool and bar area and was loud and very uncomfortable until around 1 am. The music was right under our room and people at the outdoor bar were very loud. We found out there was another building near the adult pool that was more quite and much better.

The beach gets a good only because we can't swim there, no issues really, very clean. We only have one complaint the marketing people and the timeshre pushing in the hotel we said NO but it was continuous. It was only until I told the apple rep did it stop but we advoid that area of the hotel. In fact we never checked into the front desk instead we were routed to the marketing people to check in. That was wrong after having issues with our plane and were delayed 4 hours getting there. This is our only complaint. Then she told us we would be better off at the Sandles resort for adults only! No we had no problems with the kids and had an awesome time at Dreams. We will be going back.

We loved our vacation. It was gorgeous and the people went above and beyond in service. The food was fabulous. Restaurants were unique and the food top quality. Two negatives to be aware of: 1. Rooms not soundproof. Could hear neighbors. And one night there was a band at the pool playing loud until 11:00pm. (We had to get up early the next morning.) 2. You cannot swim on the beach. The pool made up for it though. One thing: Do NOT do the time share presentation. It is not worth the free things they offer you.

Hotel was beautiful, kept clean. Staff very friendly, bilingual. During off season, they rotate what restaurant are open. Unfortunately, buffet was only open 1 of 6 days, being vegan, I had planned on eating from the salad bar. This limited my choices greatly. Minibar not restocked daily, and they removed curtains before our last day which was strange.

We stayed at Dreams Los Cabo's for our honeymoon. We arrived a day or two after one of the worst tropical storms they have seen in over 10 years, so our first impression was not that great. The resort was working at "60%" according to the staff at check in. We are very laid back people and understood the circumstances. Upon check in, we were told they needed to put a $100 hold on a credit card for incidentals, which we were fine with. Until I got an alert on my phone saying that they placed a $450 hold, not $100! They also barrade you with their "Vacation Club" as you check-in and try to get you to buy into it immediately. Initially the water in the shower was brown then cleared within seconds. And then each had seen better days as well. There were trees and debris everywhere. I'm assuming both were from the storm. That being said, the staff and entertainment were excellent! They worked so hard to get the resort back to 100% operational. The food was decent, but they tried to sell you bottles of expensive wines that were not included. We had a great time but just had to stay on our toes more than we had hoped.

We stayed 7 days and 6 nights here and just returned home. We were upgraded to a Suite from a Jr Suite free of charge and not even asking. I was with my daughter and 3 other friends. The Suite was amazing with 2 large bathrooms. Balcony overlooked the Adult pool. Both pools were magnificent and kept clean all the time. I never had a problem getting a drink at any swim up bar. For the person who said they only had 7 breakfast options is a flat our lie. There were 2 sides to the buffet with the large buffet in the front and the ethnic courses in the back with the bar. Breakfast had everything you would want at breakfasr including eggs and omelets made to order. The fruit buffet was the bomb! Best I ever saw and I have been to many All Inclusives. All the food was excellent with the Italian being the best. I did not care for the french but that is me. All the other restaurants were excellent and everyone aimed to please. I had excellent daily maid service as well as turn down service each and every night!! The people there work very hard to please and I hate to see them being trashed this way. At the pool we were never without a drink or food. They even grilled food right there chicken breast, streak and salads. The seaside grill always had a good lunch buffet every day which had all kind of good food. The only issues I had was the location. Far from town and a taxi was 30 dollars each way. We spent 60 dollars just to go into town and back. The other issue would be more inside bars. This resort serves top shelf but maybe add liquor. The outside bars close at 6. That leaves the Lobby bar which only has 5 chairs which to me is completely inadequate. Entertainment lacks too. After the show which was always over by 9 or so there is nothing to do except for the Desires Bar which iis a disco that does not kick off until 11. Good for the younger adults but not for the young at heart. I may be in my sixties but I still enjoy a good time and I met a lot of folks my age. Everyone at this resort is pleasant and conversations always easy. So Dreams keep doing what you do

Terrible service and bad food

I have travelled to many different all inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean and Dreams Los Cabos is by far the worst I have experienced. I travelled in a group of 11 people, adults and kids ranging in age from 3-9. Pros (To be fair the hotel did have some good aspects): 1. The property is beautiful and very nicely maintained. 2. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with ocean view, rooms 1103/1104. It was gorgeous, huge, and very comfortable. 3. The gym is large, clean, and very well appointed 4. The Mexican fiesta on Monday nights is fantastic! Great food , fresh fruit margaritas, and fun entertainment. Cons: 1. The service was horrible. The waiters by the pool and at the restaurants were grumpy and rude. Very few employees smiled and we rarely experienced a "can-do" attitude. A perfect example of this... We were a group of 11 people. At Seaside Grill, the main poolside cafe (and at times the only one open), we asked to move 2 tables together so we could all sit together and were told NO. The restaurant was mostly empty. We asked to for a manager who was rude to us and simply stated that they don't move tables and that we have to eat separately. I've never heard of such a thing! 2. There is one single bartender at the huge swim up bar, so the wait for a drink was at least 20 minutes. The poolside waiters never asked if we would like a drink. We always had to flag them down 0r run after them to order. We interacted with 3 or 4 poolside waiters and all were unfriendly and minimally helpful. 3.The room service was terrible. It often took an hour or longer to get food and half of the time the order was wrong. 4. Many of the staff did not speak sufficient English to effectively communicate. I know I'm an American visiting a foreign country. But more than 75% of the guests were American. This has never been an issue at any of the other resorts I have visited. 5. In the evening, there was only 1 kids club employee for a huge number of kids. It was chaotic and felt unsafe. 6. The food was pretty awful. The buffets were very small compared to all the other resorts I have visited and much of the food was gross. The French restaurant was the best, Italian was terrible. 7. We were told there was turn down service, but only once in a whole week did this happen. Overall, a very disappointing experience at Dreams. We have enjoyed other resorts in the same AMR group, but because of this terrible experience, I don't know that we will return to any of them.

Had an amazing time!

My family and I stayed at Dreams Los Cabos for only 5 day but it was an unforgettable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food and drinks but the entertainment was truly the highlight. We enjoyed rifle shooting, archery, dance and Spanish lessons and much more with our favorite entertainer Rolfi. The rooms were very neat and spacious and the view - amazing. We didn't want to leave but hopefully we'll be back soon!

Very Disappointing

We just got back from this property. This is our 4th AMR property to visit. We have also been to Dreams RC, Now Jade and Now Sapphire, plus we have been to a few other chains too. This property does not compare to the others and doesn't come close. The rooms are nice and the property is clean. My kids liked the kid's club, the staff works hard and the clientele is nice, but other than that this property is not up to the level of the other resorts, much less other chains. This was my first time to Cabo and other than the resort, I liked the Cabo area better than the Cancun area. First of all the food is terrible when compared to other resorts. The only people that were OK with the food were people that had never been to another all inclusive. The dinner restaurants were actually decent, although not as good as other properties, but the breakfast was bad and the lunch beyond awful; and those two meals are hard to mess up. Breakfast had a very limited buffet, maybe a third the size of other resorts and very limited selection. The smoothie option was just drink mixers, no real fruit, and the few other items were all pretty bad. Lunch, seriously, every other resort has a guy by the pool grilling burgers or something, some other places and then some form of buffet. Here there were like two restaurant options, one with a buffet and one sit down. They were crowded and the food was terrible. The buffet literally has 7 dishes, all strange food combinations and all bad. The sit down option was lousy. The only thing remotely edible and we tried almost all of it was the burger. People were waiting long times just for that. There was a pizza maker at the beach (very totinos). If the food at the DRC was about an 8, Now Sapphire a 7.5, this one is about a 2 by comparison (dinner was a 5). I don't get how the same company with the same concept restaurants at the different properties can get it so wrong here. You would think the head of food for the company would tour the properties and correct this. The rest of the resort was average too. The pool is nice but very deep, so if you are not over 5'6" you will not be able to stand in 80% of the pool and there were limited shows at night and activities during the day. There was not enough bar staff, although the ones who where there worked their tails off. Everyone who had been to other all inclusives said they would not return; those that had no other experiences thought it was better. AMR does have good properties, but this one for a similar price, isn't even close to the others. It should be about half the price of the DRC. AMR needs to either seriously revamp this property or sell it to someone who will. Waste of a pretty property and AMR loses repeat customers whenever someone goes there. If you want a good vacation find another property.

Relaxing, clean, and friendly!

My sisters and I stayed at Dreams Los Cabos for a weeklong girls’/moms’ trip. We left the husbands and children at home, and Dreams Los Cabos was a great choice for relaxation, safety, and all-inclusive. We liked that Dreams was away from the hustle and bustle of Cabo San Lucas, so it was quieter and the beach more private. However, the ocean is “not swimmable” in front of the resort according to them for ocean current conditions, but I saw someone swimming in it just fine on a calmer day (the resort does patrol the beach/ocean...). Although only in our mid-thirties, we avoided the entertainment pool and hung out at the adults pool for the week — quiet, relaxing, and full service bar. This is our second stay at a Dreams resort (Tulum and Los Cabos) and we enjoyed the luxurious simplicity!
