All Inclusive

Divi Carina Bay All-Inclusive Beach Resort & Casino is a lively retreat nestled on the secluded eastern shoreline of beautiful St. Croix. The resort, 25 miles from the airport, lies along a 1000-foot stretch of white sand on Grapetree Beach. The clear waters of the U.S. Virgin Islands beckon travelers to take a dip, while hammocks stretched under swaying palms provide opportunities to dry-off and relax. The Vegas-style casino accommodates adventurous gamers looking to try their luck.

Enjoy modern beachfront guestrooms, poolside dining, watersports, live entertainment, and the value that comes with an all-inclusive package.

Guests have access to a full spectrum of onsite amenities. Two freshwater pools, two whirlpools, a children's pool, and the pristine beach provide plenty of space to unwind. Take full advantage of your coastal location by partaking in the non-motorized watersports included in the package.

The resort has an 18-hole mini-golf course and a driving range on site. For those looking to spend some time on the fairway, there are three fantastic options available: The Buccaneer, an 18-hole, 6,200-yard course close to Christiansted, The Carambola, a 6,843-yard, par-72 championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., also close to Christiansted, and a 9-hole course at The Reef Club on the north side of St. Croix. Two outdoor tennis courts are also available on site, and it's free to play for hotel guests.

Divi Carina Bay All-Inclusive Beach Resort & Casino is home to four distinct fine dining experiences. The Starlite Bar & Grille, open for breakfast and dinner, offers intimate, breathtaking ocean views and multi-national island fare. For a more casual meal, saunter over to the Dockside Cafe, just steps from the beach, open throughout the day. You'll find the best pizza in St. Croix at East End Pizza, and the Carina Café serves up classic American cuisine to satisfy those midnight cravings.

The Divi Carina Bay All-Inclusive Beach Resort & Casino offers 180 beautiful rooms furnished in tropical elegance and complete with an oceanfront terrace or balcony for sweeping views of St. Croix's clear waters.

Beach and weather - great; Service - not so great

We had ants in our bed in the first room we were assigned - so switched rooms. The wait staff either ignored you or seemed put out if you asked for anything.

The hotel did have us registered when we arrived. Accomidations were fair; not exceptional. Staff was friendly. Beach was okay but not well kept.

We were happy with our stay at Divi in St. Croix. The staff was over the top kind and went out of their way. I would highly recommend. Lots to do. Beautiful views. Rum, rum and rum. Would return.

The rooms need updating. With the acception of one waitress and two bartenters, (housekeeping was fine) the staff are terribly under-motivated and in some cases rude. The food all started to taste the same. The hotel is not close to anything. Since they drive on the left side of the road we were reluctant to rent a car. So the two times we took the shuttle or taxi, it was very expensive to go a few miles. Thank goodness Divi is an all inclusive, there are NO other places to eat anywhere close. Snorkeling from the Divi Carina beach is good however you have to swim a long distance to get to the reef. The bugs are out of control. Don't know if coming home covered in bug bites were the "noseesums" and/or bed bugs. Bug spray more important than sunscreen. Due to recent closing of the refinery, the crime rate is increasing. Wouldn't venture too far from hotel especially after dark. We made the best of it and enjoyed just being on vacation and on a beach - but this will NOT be a destination to be repeated. Hawaii still our favorite warm weather destination.

This place is absolutely a waste of time! The staff are not willing to help you. The resort is full of trash and very outdated! They have no fresh food selection, most foods are fried, and you can not find food after 10pm on the resort. If you are wanting food, you must walked down the unlit street to the casino for food that takes an hour to be finished. The premium rooms are away from everything in a different section of the hotel. The pools are dirty and not taken care of. For this hotel being an all inclusive, they do not provide what it should. You only have the option of Cruzan Rum for most drinks. Tequila is not an option at any of the bars, unless you go to the casino. God forbid you get a cold bottle of water, a hot cup of coffee, or someone to help you without an attitude that follows. No where on their website does it say you are in the middle of no where with nothing to do. They should suggest renting a car on their website. The hotel's "shuttle service" is sketchy as hell. If you were their friend, you would not have to pay. If you were a regular guest, you would have to pay anywhere from $15 to $30 a person each way. I made my complaints during my stay and no one was willing to help me. The poor wedding that was taking place at the hotel had to use the buffet that all guests eat at because they did not have what was asked for their reception. This was our honeymoon trip and it was awful!

Being ill and having need for rest... my daughter and yet another pastor friend, traveled to what was expected to be a pleasure experience... which ended up being a nightmare experience for all concerned. Had to change rooms (all) ... being handicapped I had use of a fifty service elevator. Being professional, I had need of a telephone to communicate with my travel partners and back to my home-business... my phones only worked part of my stay. After complaining over-and-over I brought this matter to the attention of the CEO, who had breakfast sent to my room... but no apology from he nor his staff for the unpleasant stay. Being an invalid may my journey less than a vacation... for me nor those who traveled with me. Any pleasure I experience, I had to pay out of pocket for it. My promise is to never revisit that Hotel Divi Carina Bay with All insanities included - again!

It's clear that this is a hotel struggling to keep up. It's dated and not recently updated or renovated. The rooms, while clean, are old looking. The beach was covered with an invasive seaweed and while that was no fault of the hotel, it was disappointing. The reason for the rating though was really the service. The best service we got were the taxi guys. They were really flexible with taking us all over the island the weekend we were there. The worst service came from the front desk, the bar and the dining. The food was subpar, each night only a few entree choices and things were either over cooked or under seasoned. On Sunday around 10am, when a normal resort would already be full swing, there was only a single bartender taking care of the entire hotel. One. And he was swamped. So the rooms were dated, the food sucked, the single pool near the beach was small and okay, and the only good bar tending that happened was happening during the wedding we were attending. Other than that, it was bad. Also, bring everything you need with you because you can't count on the gift shop or "dive" shop to be open consistently.
