A great vacation. Staff were attentive and service was outstanding. Every time we turned around someone was there asking if we needed anything. All inclusive is the way to go. The food is very good with plenty of variety. Snorkeling of the back of the hotel, though unexpected, was good. Expensive, but worth it. Caveat: Avoid rooms 1-10 on the 3rd floor as they are across from a very noisy mechanical room. A low frequency rumble. We didn’t mind so much, but some would find it pretty annoying.

We loved every minute at the Palace. Of course they have other locations over on the mainland that can be used interchangeably as well but we preferred to stay in Cozumel. The staff are delightful, helpful and looking for ways to serve you. They don't just get what you ask for - they are thinking ahead. The facilities were always clean, the food delicious and the help came in huge servings. There is no beach at this hotel but you can get beach easily over on the mainland or in places nearby. You can snorkel right outside the hotel and its easy with equipment provided if necessary. All the rooms are beautiful, have a balcony and look out at the water. We recommend being on at least the 3rd floor to better enjoy the view. Watching the cruise ships go by and seeing the other watercraft was mesmerizing. Nights were delightful looking at all the lights. We also enjoyed the $1500 extra credit for special things. We used it for massages, special trips and other fun things. We hope to go back soon. We weren't just satisfied - we were highly impressed.

we stayed 5 days at cozumel palace, loved every day! we went to playacar palace for one of the days, which is great if you want lots of beach! wonderful service, excellent bar staff...would not waste my time ever again with the palace time share/vacation club presentation...seems like it might be an okay deal; however, you still have to pay quite a bit for your weeks on top of a fee to join for your weeks, plus we had issues getting our promised ferry tickets (reimbursed).

Overall, the hotel was very good. However, My wife and I were very put off by the relentless sales pressure that we were subjected to. At the initial check-in, the clerk was very persistent in trying to up-sell us into a more expensive room with upgraded amenities, pillows, etc. Then our "vacation planner" tried very hard to sell us excursions, only some of which were covered by our hotel credit. We never were oriented to the hotel, so we were somewhat disoriented about the restaurants, pools, etc. Finally, in order to "activate" the hotel credit, we were forced to participate in a 90 minute marketing blitz in which we were encouraged to "invest" somewhere between $500,000 and $16,000 to become members, and receive discounted future stays, and some other perks. Unfortunately, the 90 minutes stretched to 3 1/2 hours, after which the incentives that we were promised never materialized. I functionally wasted a day of my vacation. For what we payed for this trip, I was profoundly unhappy about this. Overall though, the hotel was very nice, the service was good, the food was good (not great though). I will not be recommending the Palace Cozumel or any other Palace hotels to my friends. There are plenty of nice hotels to go to without subjecting ourselves th the kind of stress that we incurred.

Overall the Cozumel Palace was very nice. It was a bit frustrating to arrive and get hit up for a time share pitch. The food was very good. We have gone diving with Aqua Safari for over 20 years and it was recently acquired by the hotel. The boat staff was amazing, but they need additional staffing in the equipment check out area. The equipment also needs to be serviced more frequently as we had problems with regulators, etc. Overall, really liked the hotel and the staff and service was very good.

Your Apple Reps Name is Antuno Calderon. He was a rude, passive-aggressive, and disrespectful. His office time was 5-7 in which he was never at his desk during that time. I booked an excursion for my Daughters online for the second day we were there, good thing. This human-being did not show up the first night, we checked several times. The Delta Vacation planners helped us to figure out the details of the excursion. Your rep did not show up for three days, and then proceed to lecture ME about showing up when scheduled. Which I did. Then he lectured me about booking online because I just lost him his commission and wasted his time. I was told this several times. Of course, if I wouldn't have the girls would not have been able to go. the little work he did for us was to write us a voucher for the return to the airport. HE put the wrong information, called our room, in which he gave us ten minutes to get to the lobby, five minutes later he was already gone. we did not see him again. Not even the last day at a scheduled time (picked by HIM) to get a corrected voucher. We booked our excursions with the OTHER representatives whom were available and polite. 1. We were not allowed in the restaurants at night because my fiance did not bring dress pants, only dress shorts. 2. We could not use even half of our credits, due to all the restrictions only discovered upon arrival. 3. We could not dive because the shop considered our last dives to far in the past. 4. WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW ANY OF THIS UPFRONT! 5. The ocean view was blocked by several trees, unfortunately this was not the first time we have paid for and received crappy views at a palace resort, but it will be the last.

We have stayed at the Cozumel Palace many times and it is always a delight from check in to check out.Using our resort credits was very easy as Fernando explained everything The food is delicious and the servers very attentive. After one day at the breakfast buffet they knew what I wanted to drink (champagne) and they brought it without asking. Several servers helped us at the pool bar but Heri was especially attentive each day.Joel in the dinner restaurants was excellent. He knew I liked salmon and always tried to get it for me. At night outside, Gabriel helped us with what we needed and he did it with a perfect smile. In the lobby bar Jose knew exactly what my husband wanted and had it ready for him. Brenda in the spa was amazing. We did the wine tasting night and Caesar made it not only educational but so much fun.

My wife and I got a free week certificate from Interval International, but it had limited dates and locations. Found that Cozumel Palace was available and booked it for early October. That is still in the hurricane season, which is why it was available and why the hotel was only half full, I guess. We did have Tropical Storm Nate mess up one of the 7 days, but no damage and the rest of the week the weather was great. The is opn the water but does not have a sand beach. It does have swimming and snorkeling in the ocean right off the pool deck, and there are plenty of reefs and fish within a few feet of shore to see, the water was warm and clear, however some days they restricted swimming because of the surf. This place is all inclusive and the food in the 4 restaurants was consistently excellent. I really like the breakfast buffet, with lots of fresh fruits, meats and cheeses, made to order omelettes, huevos rancheros and more and a make your own mimosa or bloody mary station. They gave us $1,500 in resort credits but there were restrictions that made it nearly impossible to use them all in a week. We went on a snorkeling trip one day and my wife used the spa. We rented a jeep and drove around the island our last day, and I would highly recommend that. Go to the national park at Punta Sur for wide, empty beaches, then drive up the empty east coast, stopping at Coconuts (be forewarned -- they only take cash!). It was complicated getting to and from Cozumel -- it has very few flights from the states. We flew into Cancun and took the tem minute hop to Cozumel on MayAir You can also take a bus to Playa del Carmen and go over by ferry.

My husband and I and our three kids (4, 5, and 7) just visited this property while porting in Cozumel from a Disney cruise. Although we were only there for 6 hours, we really enjoyed our time! The resort was small and intimate, the pools were beautiful, the food was great, and the staff was amazing (especially the entertainment team). The only negative for me was the lack of a beach; like there isn't one. For adults who like to sun bathe or snorkel or just drink by the bar, this place is great. For families with kids, especially younger ones, the pools with only entertain them for so long. All and all, I'd recommend this resort!

A most wonderful experience!

Most expensive resort ever? (No, not really.) Best beach ever? (Beach? What beach??) This palace is staffed by friendly, knowledgeable native Mexican people well versed in both the ins & outs of their resort and also blue ribbon customer service. The overall atmosphere was warm and engaging at all times, making the international traveler right at home. Have I mentioned the marble, granite, and stone throughout?Elegant and cool to the touch on those warm wet tropical days, and Mexican style was prevalent throughout. We knew the resort was built oceanside and on rock- we are swimmers, not sand people, so we were happy to climb down the ladder(s) and enjoy our daily dose of Vitamin Sea. We booked through a travel agent who took care of transfers, and we were excited to experience Cozumel Palace’s all-inclusive restaurants. We were not disappointed! Every meal had a wide variety of foods and styles. No one does pork better than Mexico and that includes bacon! Amazing desserts too, make sure your weight is on your low end cuz you’ll be bringing home some extra with you! One more thing: We were there the night Hurricane Nate blew by. You can get a real feel for a place by their disaster policy. The hotel staff were entirely friendly as they expediently removed 80-100 chaise lounges & cushions, outdoor tables & chairs, steel ladders down at water’s edge, closed all the storm shutters, and took off the heavy glass panes that keep the wind off the outdoor areas. We felt safe as Nate blew by...
