Wonderful resort!

I had not been to this resort since I was a child. The staff here were very helpful and the view was amazing. You can snorkel right off the hotel and they provide all the equipment. The food was decent, lunch was the best in my opinion. The Italian restaurant was the best dinner option. Guys must have pants, a collared shirt, and closed toe shoes and women must have a shoe that is not a flip flop. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond! The swim-up bar was closed for maintenance during our stay which was a real bummer, but Darwin and the other guys made up for it. My only complaint was that as soon we got there and checked in they asked if we had any tours setup from the airport. We had setup what we thought was a great deal from a guy at the airport. Although the first red flag should have been when the guy at the airport told me not to tell my hotel about our arrangement 🧐. They all want you to go to a timeshare/ membership presentation. Richard told us that once we didn’t buy the airport guys timeshare we wouldn’t get anything they promised, which was true based on other reviews. Richard gave us a car for the day (we had to put a very large deposit down which was reversed as soon as we got back) and 2 tickets to Tulum with 4 ferry tickets. Richard told us the ATV excursion in Cancun wasn’t as good as the one in Cozumel and recommended we do that one instead. Once we went to book the excursion for the ATV the guy said just the opposite, so maybe just different opinions! It was very frustrating to have been traveling all day to get there and relax and be hit with that right after you check in. My advice would be not to buy anything at the airport except your shuttle tickets and to just buy all your excursions on your own. The membership presentation was longer than 90 minutes and they take you off to yourselves rather than in a large group. We really wanted to buy, but it was a bit expensive for us and I still couldn’t justify it on my mind. They pitched us multiple different offers by 3 different people. At the end I was frustrated because all I wanted to do was get back to the pool lol. The resort was wonderful, the staff was amazing, and the snorkeling beautiful. We will definitely be back and I’ll do a few things differently now that I know.

Hotel, staff, food, rooms, amenities, spa, snorkeling, scuba, entertainment, resort credit, all top notch! The weather wasn't the best and that really put a damper on our moods. But because of the staff(all the staff) especially these people, Roger, Charlie, Abigail, made our stay perfect! I could write more and more about this place, but won't . All food and drinks were amazing, everything!! Aqua Safari Scuba was also amazing! Walter, Angel, and the safety diver were patient and kind and so helpful for us! Ive read so many reviews of people complaining about various things here, but not from us, we loved every minute and everyone treated us like we were family!!! Aqua Safari please thank our safety diver for rescuing us from forgetting our safety stop and getting us squared away! FYI if you are a vacation only diver like us, please go over your training material before diving here. Its 100' deep in some spots and its drift diving. Its amazing but definitely for certified and easy to go divers. And then there was us. Having never dived that deep and only 40' before and forgetting safety stop of 3 min at 15-20' could have resulted in DCS but thanks to our safety guy and even our photographer Angel we were saved from DCS. Walter leads the way finding all kinds of cool stuff we never would have seen our own! We got massages at the Spa and it was wonderful too! Upon checking out we wondered how it would be sitting at the airport for 4 hours before our flight. Before we even made it to the counter, the bell boy approached us and asked us all the necessary questions and informed us we could stay at hotel with all the services and he would store our luggage safely until our departure! Went to front desk and it was all true! They all said our vacation only ended at the airport, but while here, we were still their guests and family! Room service was off the hook great! Always quick always amazing and we ordered a ton of food!!! Unfortunately though when we went to visit Playa Del Carmen, the beaches and water was dominated by seaweed and nothing was useable and very disappointing. However, Cozumel was unaffected by this phenomenon ! Anyway, thank you Cozumel Palace for your kindness to us we loved every minute of it!!!

OUTSTANDING FOOD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! We stayed on the Concierge level in September 2018. The amenities are top notch! Here are the things we enjoyed this trip: greeted with a refreshing drink and cool towel, the lobby bartenders made us wonderful Pina-Coladas minutes after we arrived, the Expresso machine in our room, jetted two person tub in the room, bottle of wine in the room upon arrival, 4 bottles of liquor to chose from, fully stocked mini bar, oil diffuser turned on twice a day, nightly turn down service with gourmet chocolates, pillow menu choices, Chi blow dryer and Chi flat iron in your room, an incredible room service menu complete with lots of options (I'm going to try and create the Pesto Breakfast salad with poached eggs at home now), romantic private lobster/filet mignon dinner near the reef area, organic healthy juice options, couples massage, rented a jeep from the hotel for a day, snorkeled right off the resort reef. We were very impressed with the freshness of all of our food ingredients and the level of service we received throughout the hotel. "My pleasure" is the response anytime we thanked an employee! It was truly an amazing trip and each employee was genuinely appreciative we chose their resort while in Cozumel. We will be back!!

The staff at the Front desk is very helpful. They are always smiling and willing to help. The gentleman who scheduled our honeymoon dinner is a pleasure to work with and made us feel very welcome. Also, Carlos is a fantastic bar tender and he is an amazing mixologist. We have been in Mexico for about 10 days now and we have been at Cozumel Palace for four days. We had one of the best dinners during our entire stay last night at the Mexican Restaurant at the resort. Chef Carlos and chef Isaac are truly talented at there craft of making delicious and artistic food. The mahi-mahi was unbelievable and cooked to perfection also the two desserts we tried were out of this world. We are excited for the rest of our stay at Cozumel Palace. We can’t wait for the rest the activities we have scheduled.
