CoCo Beach Bermuda

Hotel is right on the beach in a series of separate buildings each with 10-12 rooms. The view of the ocean is fantastic. The Hotel is clean and the staff pleasant. Not much in the way of amenities and though the pool is quite nice, there is no spa. The stay was pleasant and met our expectations for the price, which was reasonable in an otherwise expensive vacation locale. We spent an entire week with the idea of getting there fast so that we could take it slow, just the Beach Boys song..

Great place friendly staff

I travel a lot and this place has everything I look for: friendly staff, great views, comfy beds, pool or beach and not a party spot. The place is nice and is decorated in traditional decor for the islands. I've been to every island in the Caribbean and this place has that look. If you're looking for something modern then you're going on vacation for the wrong reasons. You're in vacation to get away and be out of the room. The rooms are nice spacious and the bed was huge plus super comfortable. My wife is pregnant and this was one of the few places she was very comfortable. The beach is gorgeous, the staff is friendly and they'll take you to the bus stop by cart. Get a second floor room so you can see the ocean. Pool is nice and very super crowded. The place has a restaurant but if you're like me and love local food then go to Paraquett down the block for breakfast and ice shop for late night snacks (close at 5am. Milkshakes are amazing). There's also a grocery store down the block that has everything in case you forgot something home or want food to buy. Flat screen tv's, and plenty of towels. The resort is nice and peaceful, no crazy teens getting drunk and betting bothersome. Perfect for couples who are expecting, with kids or just trying to get away. I'd recommend this place to anyone coming to Bermuda.

Such a disappointment

This hotel is on the beach and has some rooms that open to the water which is great but...unfortunately, this was a poor choice for our long weekend. Although Hamilton and other places of interest are not too far, it was difficult to get a taxi through the front desk even though all were ordered in advance. The service at the bar was extremely slow. The breakfast was not special but you can walk to the hotel next store to eat. The smell in the outdoor stairwell was very musty. The bed was comfortable but the room was definitely not worth what we paid.

We loved Coco Reef!

We stayed for several days at Coco Reef and had both lunch and dinner at the resort restaurant. The food was presented beautifully and there were several excellent choices -- both vegetarian and non-vege; service was friendly, drinks well crafted and the setting... ahhhhh! To be able to dine casually al fresco with the gorgeous beach and beautiful water so close you could reach out and touch it -- priceless! Actually, it wasn't "price-LESS", but we felt the prices were comparable to what we'd pay at a fine-dining restaurant in either Portland or Bangor, Maine, so seriously, we felt that was good value to the experience.

We booked through resort for a day for a day pass during our cruise. We had the pool to ourselves and only 5 people using the beach. So quiet and relaxing I actually fell asleep pool side between the soft music playing and the sound of the ocean. The food was fabulous! I had a chicken Caesar salad and fish cake. My husband had the fish chowder and Cuban sandwich. Drinks were a bit expensive but good. Perfect excursion after being around so many people on the ship.

Gorgeous quiet beach but a bit kitschy

We purchased a day pass for Coco Reef when visiting Bermuda by cruise ship, choosing this destination based on its outstanding reviews. Coco Reef did not disappoint. The beach was pristine and uncrowded. There were plenty of bright yellow loungers and umbrellas. The beach restroom was nearby and clean. The day pass came with a three course lunch, but drinks were not included. Lunch was delicious and the service good. For $104 each, a drink or two would have been nice. After lunch we lounged by the small but sparkling clean pool. The view from the elevated dining terrace and pool deck is stunning. The gold statues inside and out were a bit much for my taste, but certainly not cause for not going back again. When searching on line, information stated a ride from King’s Warf would be $20-$25; in actuality it was $43 each way. Fortunately we were able to share a ride on the return trip. We had a great day at Coco Reef and would go back.
