CoCo Beach Bermuda
Nov 17 2015
Hotel is right on the beach in a series of separate buildings each with 10-12 rooms. The view of the ocean is fantastic. The Hotel is clean and the staff pleasant. Not much in the way of amenities and though the pool is quite nice, there is no spa. The stay was pleasant and met our expectations for the price, which was reasonable in an otherwise expensive vacation locale. We spent an entire week with the idea of getting there fast so that we could take it slow, just the Beach Boys song..

I came to Coco Reef in March from New England. It had gotten great review and was part of a vacation package offered by an airline. I came before it was their high season, so while it was nice and quiet while I was there, it would definitely get filled up during tourist season. Pros: - perfect location, right on the beach and close to Hamilton. Bus stops right at the end of the street. - the restaurant has good food and drinks, but it isn't cheap. - there is a grocery store down the street - staff was very attentive & helpful, helping me with bus fares and arranging cabs. - Coco the cat! Less than Pros: - I was there during shoulder season, so the more causal restaurant wasn't open yet, meaning unless I wanted to travel by cab, my dinners were expensive. - The mattress was very soft and saggy. - It isn't the fanciest place, but it is functional and well maintained. Just keep that in mind if you want super-fancy. All in all, I'd stay there again.

I stayed Coco Reef Bermuda on 3/08-10, 2018. This hotel is equivalent to 2-3 star motel in the US. I totally not recommended to stay here unless you love Elbow Beach but your budget is limited. Elbow Beach is a very beautiful beach but the public access is limited (means there is no public bathroom). Although they cleaned the room well and the bed was comfortable, I found the following unpleasant things; The hotel room’s décor is like 1980’s. Feels like you are staying at cheap motel. Foot noise from upstairs is loud. Restaurant is open only limited hours Hotel’s pool is not heated (although the receptionist said it is heated) and no Jacuzzi Hotel’s pool is very small You have to request to get a microwave Both vending machines took my dollar bills but I got no soda nor refund came out. Hotel resists to pay me back. They said the vending machine was not hotel’s property. I spent $8 until I finally figured out that the vending machine takes only coins. I am someone who write a fair review. I will never stay here again.

Coco Reef is all about location. You stay here for the easiest access to the beach - rivals many of the luxury resorts in regards to beach frontage and quality. The in-house restaurant is solid with good drinks and beachfront al fresco dining. The rooms are a little outdated but it's staple wicker tropical decor is in good condition and everything is clean. The man who runs your bags and gets whatever you might need around the resort is a treasure. Everyone in the hotel were gracious hosts. There is a bus stop at the end of the hotel's driveway which will connect you to the public bus system. Convenient if you feel adventurous outside the taxi rides. I would return again!

My husband & I stayed at Coco Reef for approximately 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. They assisted with navigating our bus trip experience and ferry ride to Royal Dockyard. Our housekeeper, Almea (I think), was the best. Non-imposing & thorough. The beautiful beach views were breathtaking....the highlight for me was seeing the parrot fish in the ocean...beautiful!! My husband thoroughly enjoyed MY braised beef served at dinner😄it was delicious!! Needless to say we enjoyed our stay...the peacefulness was needed.

The beach bar was closed between Christmas and New Year which is a pity as when we visited before we had a really good pub lunch and it is also a pleasant spot for a relaxing drink. would definitely go back again.
