We visited this hotel for a wedding and it was pretty nice. I do have to say we had a bit of trouble at check in but I think that is because our travel agent was useless. 3 girls all in our 20'S and we got a room with one king bed. Not a huge issue and luckily we are all small but seriously who puts 3 adults in one bed..we couldn't switch at check-in either as we paid for an upgraded ocean view and there were no other rooms available with that accommodation. The hotel itself is nice, nothing spectacular but it's nice. I would suggest upgrading to the privileged package as you get access to an additional beach bar that is BEAUTIFUL. I would suggest hanging out here all day, they have bean bags and lounge chairs to lay in. The food here is pretty good, lots of options however if you have a big group it's hard to get in anywhere and you will have to wait 1-2 hours. The beach is pretty, clear water but there was a lot of rocks and seaweed when we went. Also something to note is that December is rainy season so the weather was not that great (cloudy/rainy almost everyday). This is pretty far from the airport, especially if you are on a bus and have to drop others off first. I think it took us 2 hours or so. The location of this hotel is good, lots of excursion options near by and you can take a shuttle to go out at night if you prefer. All in all nice hotel but nothing special. More>

We had a fantastic time and were surrounded by bartenders who encouraged a great experience. My girlfriend is Portuguese and loved to talk in Spanish to the bartenders. Also the drink service and food amenities was fantastic More>

This was our first time to visit Cancun & we couldn't have picked a better place to stay! We choose not to do the upgrade to privileged & are so glad we did not as a couple we traveled with did & we found no benefits to upgrading. Our rooms were clean & big and every day we had four new bottles of water in our fridge to drink. We did do the all inclusive which was wonderful as we did not have to worry about paying for anything other than our dive trips. The bartenders were generous with their pours & even had staff that came around & picked up the empty cups and sometimes refilled our orders. The choice of restaurants was great - Steak House, Japanese Grill, Mexican & Italian (these were available for the evening meal) & the morning & lunch buffet had endless choices to choose from. There was also a Snack bar open along with a Juice Bar. The staff was always friendly & ready to help or answer questions. We chose to do 2 excursions, one with Amstar - the Jungle Maya & one with Cancun Adventures - Tulum Akumal. Both guides were friendly, helpful & knowledgeable of the culture & history of the area. Two amazing adventures to get out of the hotel & experience all the area has to offer. Will definitely stay here again! More>

My partner and I stayed for 7 nights and had the best holiday we have had yet. Only going on 2 excursions, most of our time was at the hotel which we cannot fault. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English (although we tried to speak Spanish wherever we could) their service was excellent and I simply cannot fault anything. Our room was spotless everyday and the pool was also checked everyday which was a positive sign. The only downside was rowdy people waking us up at stupid o'clock in the morning (but that is not the hotels fault at all.) More>

Went for a 2 week holiday with my partner, we did not upgrade and was happy with the room, good size and 2 double beds. Air con, was good. Maids, room was cleaned daily, towels changed. Very happy.. Mini bar in room is actually just water, but really was not bothered as drinks on tap at the bars.. The hotel is very clean and friendly.. You are well looked after. I don't know what people expect from all inclusive hotels, but to say the food catered for all cultures that visited, the 4 additional a la cart restaurants makes a change from the buffet. However I was not impressed with the Italian, so chose not to visit it, the 2nd week, but I would not mark the hotel down because of this. The Japanese restaurant is the best, yes there is a first come, first served, but the bar at the Japanese restaurant is lovely, the bar staff look after you there and before you know it your tables ready.. The Steak house restaurant, just go put your name down and they will tell you how long a wait you have, just go back when your tables ready.. Simple as that.. Mexican and Italian, never queued.. Take a walk out to the marina, watch the Dolphins etc.. Yes the hotel is, like in a little village setting, something I'm not used to, but it's the way in Mexico, rent a car and get out and about.. The beach is lovely, never struggled for beds, liked the breeze off the sea.. The hotel next door is the dreams hotel and I have to say, that this hotel is in a far better position with more sun beds and actually looks nicer on the outside, probably loads cheaper too. More>
