Great hotel location

The hotel and airline were fine. However, there was no Apple rep waiting for us at the airport, nor at the hotel. The tour group is called Majestic in Nassau, not Apple. Also, they didn't have the two beds we requested and said it was an Apple mixup. Otherwise, it was a great trip.

The hotel was very nice, at check in our reservation could not be found in the system. Within 5 minutes they had the problem resolved and got us in a room. The people were very friendly and always able to answer any questions we had or set up activities that we were looking to do. The food at the breakfast buffet was amazing and although it was pricey we didn't mind spending the money. Would definately go back and will recommend it to anyone we know who is looking for a place to stay.

The hotel is conveniently situated in downtown within convenient walking distance to almost everything. The private beach is very nice. The extra energy charge is excessive and should be incorporated into the room rate and not be a surcharge. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in.

Great stay in the Bahamas.

We stayed here because of a travel agency group event. The first couple of days were with the group and then we extended for a couple more nights for a personal vacation. We really enjoyed this hotel, the decor is beautiful, it was very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful, the food, both in the wonderful breakfast buffet and meals we ordered in the cozy bar were of great quality. We had a great view from our room of the beach and pool area which are nicely landscaped. The property is very close to the cruise port so every day, mornings and evenings, there were ships pulling in or pulling out, some people may not like that but as a Travel Agent it did not bother me at all, in fact I looked forward to the arrivals and departures. There is construction going on right next door, a condo building that is slated to be finished next summer so that was a nuisance but I was able to block out the noise and ignore it, my husband not so much. Probably the only reason I may not stay here again is if I would prefer an all-inclusive. We had a good time, thank you to the British Colonial Hilton staff for making our stay so nice!

Just returned from a stay Dec 4th-9th. I was a bit nervous after reading all the negative reviews. I’m happy to say EVERYTHING was perfect! Began our great experience being upgraded to a suite when the woman checking us in realized it was my bday. The stay was perfect! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel grounds were clean and beautiful. Loved seeing the boats coming in and out from the beach. The room was spotless every day and pool was great. The whole place was perfect and I had the best bday trip ever.

GREAT DAY PASS FOR CRUISE CUSTOMERS

What a beautiful hotel. And a great deal for a day pass when you cruise in to Nassau. Day pass is $78 per person with a $40 food and booze credit. You can use all the non-motorized water equipment. They also supply free towels ( so you don’t have to carry them from the ship) while you’re there beautiful cabanas, delicious food, great bar/drinks, winner winner winner! The 4 of us love it!! Recommend it highly. And Anna at the front desk area was absolutely the bomb very very nice woman. Let her know JUDYZ says Hi! All great weather was questionable. But we made the best of it and loved it!💖 Oh ya, and you can walk 4-5 block where there are shops to look at. Shopping!! Winner!!

This lovely hotel has everything you need. It is very close to the shopping area, has its own beach and patio, beach cafe, quality restaurant and is within walking distance of the cruise terminal. The building is remarkable for its history and the rooms, some with sea-views, are comfortable.

Thinking of staying here - dont! On top of it after 3 days the room was never restocked with towels or cleaned and we got charged resort fee. My advice go to Mexico, the Dominican anywhere else! Anywhere in the Bahamas you get charged compulsory gratuity of 15 to 18 perc and get no service.
