Great hotel location

The hotel and airline were fine. However, there was no Apple rep waiting for us at the airport, nor at the hotel. The tour group is called Majestic in Nassau, not Apple. Also, they didn't have the two beds we requested and said it was an Apple mixup. Otherwise, it was a great trip.

The hotel was very nice, at check in our reservation could not be found in the system. Within 5 minutes they had the problem resolved and got us in a room. The people were very friendly and always able to answer any questions we had or set up activities that we were looking to do. The food at the breakfast buffet was amazing and although it was pricey we didn't mind spending the money. Would definately go back and will recommend it to anyone we know who is looking for a place to stay.

The hotel is conveniently situated in downtown within convenient walking distance to almost everything. The private beach is very nice. The extra energy charge is excessive and should be incorporated into the room rate and not be a surcharge. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in.

Fire Alarm was pulled twice as well as a cold shower to end the trip.

Fire alarm was pulled twice at our stay. Both determined to be false alarms. I have never been on vacation where the fire alarm has been pulled. Let alone twice. The property is very noisy on weekend nights. Saturday and Sunday at 2am was woken up by bass from a local bar. Sunday/Monday morning at 2am was woken up and our wake up time was at 5:30am so just didn't go back to sleep. Tried to take a shower to relax and it was a cold shower. Hilton customer service did offer us 5,000 points for the inconvenience. The food at the property was extremely expensive. We ate at the pool restaurant twice. We got a chicken quesadilla, chicken sandwich and two cans of coke, it was 48 dollars. 12% VAT and 15% gratuity added to everything. The private beach and the pool were nice. But during the day a lot of cruise shippers had day passes. Also there was construction going on right next door building new condos. Probably would not stay at this property again because of the noise levels. I usually always try to book Hilton as well.

Watch out for Senior Frogs

Terrible sleeping accommodations due to senior Frogs and other local are around. Senior Frogs is going at all hours of the night, You have to be drunk to fall asleep. Food was ok. The staff were kind and amazing. Room smelled like bleach. Pillows were worn out and not comfy.

Warning!!!

Be prepared to ask several times to resolve any issues that you have during your stay. Choose another hotel altogether. Service is horrible. Had to change rooms. Smelled and had plumbing issues. Don’t expect a resolution. You have been warned.

Resort for a day

We visited the Nassau Hilton on a day pass while taking a cruise to the Bahamas. We could walk to this spot from the ship so we decided to give it a try. It was a little pricey at $80 pp per day, but that did include a $40 drink and food credit. They supplied chairs, towels and non-motorized water equipment. There was a nice pool and workout room at our disposal. Their computer system crashed while we were there so service was quite slow. Then at the end of the day they had a water pipe break so we were unable to wash the sand from our feet. The weather was great and we really enjoyed the day in spite of the little flaws.

Small rooms. Mouldy smell throughout the hotel. No housekeeping. Stayed there for 3 nights, had to call and request towels. Haven’t seen housekeeping at all. No drinking water in the room, no free wifi. I don’t know what did we pay for. Waste of money. Only good thing about this place is hotel location. Right in downtown and walking distance from restaurants and shopping. Beach is tiny but nice.
